“It’s been 10 years today since we met,” Edd said, raising his cola can for a toast. When no-one clinked it back, he just whacked it on his head instead and drank the lot in one go.
“You’ve already said that a million times today,” Tom replied.
“And I already knew you even then,” said Matt, arranging his fringe in a hand mirror.
“And why did you have to invite him?” Tom continued, gesturing to Tord who was sitting at the other end of the sofa.
Edd gave him that look that meant ‘You know why, he’s my best friend as well’.
It was five in the evening and everyone was starting to get slightly agitated. Edd tried to lighten the mood.
“Hey do you remember that day?” he asked cheerily.
“Edd,” started Tord, “How could we forget?”

Feliciano loved the open ocean. Even though he had been warned many times to keep away from the dangers it posed, he could never resist the temptation to explore. The gorgeous colors fascinated him beyond belief, and its vast expanse never ceased to provide more treasures.
"They'll hook you one day," his brother always told him upon his return. "And you'll have no-one to blame but yourself."
But no mere words could keep Feliciano from doing what he loved. He could spend hours in a coral reef filling his hair with anemone blossoms, or gliding along the outskirts of a current, having the time of his life.
It was on such a day that he spotted a huge shadow looming above the water. The rest of the sky was clear, so it couldn't have been a cloud; it was too round and symmetrical anyhow. He swam up to take a closer look.
His brother had told him many times that, compared to the surface, open ocean was about as

Her words, as always, spoke of hope and light in a time of darkness, and although I had forgotten some, it was not as much as I'd feared. She was sweet and forgiving, and her voice brought back memories of pain and sadness, sleepless nights when I'd go to her in tears and she'd whisper reassurance to me, magic and perseverance, and honey-colored sunsets in Cortona.
We talked until my mouth knew all the words again, until again I knew all the colors in her eyes. She was always so kind. When the rest of the world was crumbling into dust, she stood strong and held me close whilst I cried.
I wondered why I'd ever left her.
Maybe, after I could stand again, I simply didn't need to go to her so often.
And so we went our separate ways. I made new friends.
She waited for me.

Taking Flight (PruIta - Hetalia)Gilbert sat against the radiator on the wall, sighing and blowing his fringe off his face. He wrote his name on the paint with his trusty invisible pen. He used it to draw on his hands and face as well, stars and patterns slipping over his skin like water. Some ignorant moron had scribbled a swastika on the wall in blue biro. Gilbert scowled, and scraped furiously at it with the end of his locker key until all that remained was bare plaster. Much better.Taking Flight (PruIta - Hetalia) in General Fiction More Like This
He sighed again, and started doodling on his sneakers until a loud crash came from around a corner. He slid up against the wall to stand and went to see what it was.
Paper of all colors and shapes lay strewn everywhere. In the centre of the mess lay a student, at the bottom of the stairs, with a scuffed blue recycling bucket in his hand. The bucket was empty.
Gilbert recognized him instantly as Feliciano Vargas, his younger brother's 'Special Pal'. Everyone knew that they were dating, even if neither of them wanted to admit it. Gil spe

Ludwig blearily opened his eyes, a sudden feeling of intense cold sweeping his body as he came to his senses. He shivered.
His father was holding him in his arms, with Miss Héderváry and his brother looking on from a short distance.
"Guten morgen!" Gilbert shouted. "I thought you were dead!"
"Gilbert," his father hissed. Turning back to him, he softened his tone and asked again, "Are you alright?"
Ludwig nodded. "It's cold though."
"That's because your clothes are soaking wet," his brother chirped.
"Well done for reaching that conclusion," Ludwig replied.
"I did warn you not to fall in. Take off your clothes and Miss Héderváry will find some dry ones for you." Obediently Elizabeta left and went upstairs.
The child was about to remove his shirt when he stopped and said, "Can I please get dressed somewhere else? I don't think it would be very considerate to let her see me," he gestured to the tank.

A faint knocking came from the barrel behind her so, out of sheer boredom, she stopped the carriage and went to check on the mermaid.
Tipping the barrel right-way up and removing the lid, the creature burst out in a shimmer of wet bronze hair and a generous drenching of saltwater. It gasped like it had been holding its breath for hours, and stretched its little arms above its head. It smiled sweetly at her.
Miss Héderváry pondered on whether to replace the lid. It certainly seemed very happy to be out in the fresh air - it felt cruel to shut it back in the dark. On the other hand, it might accidentally bounce out going over a rocky patch, or tip over and be left parched until t

Frustrated, Toni typed 'dead turtles' into Google images and scrolled down, making sure to stare into their lifeless eyes before moving on.
Okay that was pretty sad.
But it still couldn't make tears form in his deep emerald eyes.

Roderich laughed. He lunged at Antonio, pushing him backwards into the water once more.
Antonio pulled him down with him and the two tried ducking the other.
Under the water was surprisingly clear and blue, Antonio could look right into his lover's purple eyes perfectly. Pulling him in with his arms, the Spaniard stroked Roderich's face. They swam together for a while, every so often darting in to steal a kiss. Antonio swam over to a rock and pulled himself up onto it.
"Hey, I'm hungry Roddy, what about you?" He said looking down from the rock.

Roderich knew all too well what heartbreak was, and he couldn't do that to another country.
And Antonio. He could be happy with Lovino couldn't he? They didn't need him. They were alright alone. Much better off without him.

He was going to miss that.
The stars, the moon, the slight breeze that ruffled his hair.
But it didn't matter now.

So that is what she did.

But then she remembered her mother. She wouldn't be very happy that Bella had bought the balloon - or g

So here you were, sitting at your lunch table, just staring down the envelope. Should you open it? I mean you honestly had no idea what was so funny in your last letter, and what did your English teacher mean by 'other things?' Darn it, none of these thoughts were making anything better for you!

Several days passed after you gave the English teacher your letter. And, truth be told, you were kinda nervous about getting Gilberts responce letter. You knew it was nothing to really worry about, but you couldn't help it. You hardly knew the guy so you didn't know how he'd react.
"Okay students, we got your responce letters back, so when I call your name come up and get your letter." He called out names, each student getting their letters, and only several of them looked just as nervous as you were. When he finally called your name, you slowly stood from your seat and walked towards his desk. He looked up at you and handed you the letter with the tiniest of smiles.
"Everything will be alright. Even if your pen pal is a bit odd, he's still a good kid." You smiled lightly, and returned to your desk. Okay well that helped, sorta. "-Und she asked, "Meters as is centimeters?" But zhen I said, "Meters as in KILOmeters." Gilbert and his friends laughed at his very inappropriate story. It had been a week since he turned in his letter and while waiting for your letter, his friends had already begun pestering him about what he wrote to you. But like always, Gilbert refused to tell them anything. He liked to keep the things he said to you a secret. It made his life a little more exciting. In fact, he even had your letters hidden under his bed, inside a black shoe box with Gilbird and Prussian flag stickers stuck to it.
Honestly, Gilbert had every right to hide your letters. His friends have been coming over (much to Ludwig's chagrin) more often than they did before, and the moment Gilbert would leave those two alone for just a minute, he would come back to see his man cave in worse shape than he had left it before they even decided to visit. What truly amazed him was how his friends never seemed to look under his bed.

For one thing, Gilbert admits that randomly throwing rocks at a tree was probably a bad idea, and that his principal was pretty stupid to leave the hood of his car down.
You agreed with him about the principal leaving the hood down, but you felt that you had to tell him to be a little more careful or else he could get hurt. Gilbert was touched when you thought for his well being, but he would never tell you this, his pride wouldn't allow it. Gilbert continued to send you pictures of his best friend Gilbird, each picture just too cute, and he even sent you pictures of his friends, his little brother Ludwig

Something Important"Bigender, bi-gender or bi+gender describes a tendency to move between feminine and masculine gender-typed behaviour depending on context. Some bi-gendered individuals express a distinctly "female" persona and a distinctly "male" persona, feminine and masculine respectively; others have shades of grey between the two."Something Important in Comedy More Like This
I am bigender.
I've talked about gender before and how it shouldn't matter. I mean, truly, gender does not matter to me. You can be or love whoever you want and I won't stop you.
It's just that some days I feel "female" (the gender I was born with) and other days I feel "male". Sometimes it happens halfway through the day, like maybe I'll start off as feeling "female" and end it as "male" (or vice versa.)
It's like, sometimes I don't feel comfortable being called 'she' or 'her', or even being referred to by my female name. It gets difficult because I don't know how to express myself on this subject.
You see, the thing about gender is that it matters to other people.

For years these things were enough,
Until I saw her, that was,
A passionate silhouette against the night,
A name whispered upon the thin, cold air
Her eyes held the dull glow of mortality,
Her hair shone in the light, cascading down her back in a veil,
Love does not reach the true extent of the emotions that storm through my body,
A tempest does not measure the raging battle that aches within me,
This emotion wracks my very soul, biting constantly,
Its bites leave a bitter taste within my heart,

You say, when I tell you

The pain in my gut,
The hatred, the weakness,
