* UPDATE (OCT 25): MAVERICKS (10.9) VERSION OF THIS THEME IS NOW RELEASED. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD!:):):)

* Update (Oct 22): As Apple just announced they will release Mavericks for free on the app store today, I won't bother updating the ML theme anymore. Stay tuned for a 10.9. version as soon as I upgrade! :)

* Update (Oct 6): Bug fixes. Please re-download.

NB: This is an advanced GUI mod for experienced users. If you're new to Mac theming, take some time to figure out what you're about to do to your system before proceeding with the installer. Even if you know what you're doing, carefully read through the instructions below as well as in the installer. (Blame Steve for making this so difficult.:))

NB2: There's a handful of small graphical bugs yet to be sorted out. Feel free to complain about them in the comments. However, if you're serious about wanting them fixed, consider offering your help in finding the culprit image files inside the ArtFiles. (I can point you to a range of files I think are responsible.)

It took a while, but OSX finally got the makeover it deserves.:)

(For people who have no idea what they're looking at: I've integrated most of my OSX mods, which you can find in my gallery, into a single installer.)

Hope you enjoy the theme as much as I do.:)

(Mavericks version coming soon… Join #flatOSX to be the first to hear about it.:))

iTunes: k-profiler.deviantart.com/art/…

VLC: k-profiler.deviantart.com/art/…

Safari: Coming the day version 6.1 is officially released! (Should be any day now…) Sorry not gonna update the ML theme anymore. Please update to the Mavericks version.:)

ArtFiles: Included in the .pkg!

Dock: 16 different versions included in the .pkg!

Icons: Made for personal use (using Estrya's Handwriting font) and won't be released.

_______________

To install:

1) Before running the installer, download and install Flavours (from flavours.interacto.net) and Minimal Blue theme (by yours truly) from the in-app "store". Without these (i.e. some nice proprietary tweaks), the theme won't work properly. (YES, you need them installed BEFORE you proceed with the installer.)

2) Take time to carefully read through the instructions in the installer. (Seriously, you'll regret it if you don't…)

3) Choose whether you want the White Dock or the Black Dock, and carefully check the correct files to install.

4) After running the installer, switch to 2d Dock using the terminal command: defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES

5) Optional: To remove the text below the Dock's Grid view icons (as shown here), create aliases of the apps you want to show in the Grid inside a folder; rename the aliases with spaces (" " [one space], " " [two spaces], and so forth); and drag the folder to the Dock.

6) Log out for all changes to take effect.

(To uninstall, follow the instructions in the installer; uninstall Minimal Blue theme in Flavours; reinstate the files you manually backed up; and run the above terminal command with NO instead of YES.)

_______________

Tips:

1) To get the Finder (and VLC) sidebar color tweak, install FB Eye by ~alexzielenski

2) To auto-hide the menubar (which you can see here), install Menufela or Menu and Dockless (The former works better, but is more difficult to install.)

3) To remove window titles, install GlobalNoWindowIcon and run the terminal command: defaults write -g NSTitleBarFont invisible (For this command to work, you'll need to have the font installed that comes with my iTunes skin package.) (This combo does a better job than GlobalNoWindowTitle, which you can also use if you don't want to play with fonts.)

4) To get compact Safari tabs, install cosyTabs.

5) To get the non-bold Safari tab font, run the terminal command: defaults write -g NSBoldSystemFont LucidaGrande

6) To make the theme completely white (as shown here), add a small amount of contrast in the Accessibility preference pane.

7) To get a shadowless version of the theme (as shown here), install ShadowKiller (if you can find a working link) or Nocturne, and Window Magician (to keep your app windows in place). (NB: I'll add the bordered version of White Dock to the installer if there's demand for it.)

8) To get a dark version of the theme, follow instructions here.

(Lots of additional tips to come later on…)

_______________

And as always, all comments, questions and suggestions are most welcome.:)

(If you wish to improve the theme in some way, drop me a note. After you send me your stuff, I'll credit you for your work.:))

(Beta Release)

Big Thanx for :iconallannyholm: for gifting me a copy of this tool , Inspiration by :icondanlosant:.

Notes:
-Flavours apply the same button file for all the buttons across the OS which is bad because the toolbar icons backgrounds are different from the buttons ,so to have the theme as it should you'll need to install this package too. (or you will have buttons without backgrounds :( )
-the included files are the same as the original except (new toolbar-resizer icons / progress bar / blank toolbar icons bg) ,you can even use this theme by it self if you want.

Install
-install the files in this package b4 you install the theme.
-you will have a white reader button for safari ,install it or not is up to you.
-un-tick the "Metal" checkbox when you apply the theme.

**if anyone knows how to change the safari progress bar color ,note me.

A little info on the next version:
Yes I'm planning to make a version 2 of this theme. This will happen once I'm completely done with version 3 of my snow leopard theme so that I can reuse the aqua elements from that theme for this one! In version 2 I'll add new bigger traffic lights, more accurate to the real OS X Tiger ones! Plus a graphite version!

This theme will not get as much work as the Snow leopard theme has got. But I'll probably include skins for iTunes, QuickTime and MPlayerX! Plus some extras:)

iOSX7 Full Theme for Mavericks
Inspired by iOS7, made for OSX.

Please read instructions carefully before proceeding. This is for experienced themers only. If you are not comfortable backing up and restoring system files or if any of these terms are unfamiliar you should stop and do some research first. You may seriously regret it if you don’t.

This a very extensive system wide modification. However, it is still a work in progress. Not everything is finished. I decided to release the BETA version just to get it out to the public. There are only a few months before Apple releases the new 10.10 OS making this obsolete (although rumors indicate it won't be a full iOS7-style redesign, no surprise). So enjoy while you can! Any feedback is very much appreciated.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Download Flavours.app flavours.interacto.net and install my iOSX7 Theme from the store for free. Logout after applying the theme. You must have this installed for the them to work.

2. Double click the “iOSX7_Theme_for_Mavericks_by_n8cousins.pkg” and follow the directions in the installer. It is highly recommended you backup your computer first.

Additional tools/tweaks used to complete the theme:

Messages - In Message.app>Preferences set "My background color" to rgb:0,122,255. Set "My font color" to White. Set the fonts to HelveticaNeue (or any of it's variants).

Dock - Install cDock.app by W0lfschild w0lfschild.deviantart.com/art/… Select “Install Custom Bundle” from the drop down menu and choose iOSX7Dock_for_cDock.bundle from the unzipped folder.
*cDock was recently updated to version 4, which doesn't work with the provided bundle. If you can find a cDock v.3 download the bundle will work. Hopefully there will be an update in the future.

Sidebar - Install FBEyeController.app by alexzielenski github.com/alexzielenski/FBEye Set all the Selection Colors to rgb:0,122,255. Set the Source List Background to rgb:236,236,236. Set both Window Title Colors to rgb:0,122,255.

Menubar - Go to SysPrefs>Desktop and Uncheck “Translucent Menubar.” Install WhiteClock.app by Lauri Taimila www.taimila.com/downloads/Whit… Remember to hide the default clock in System Prefs. Add to LogIn Items in SysPrefs to launch automatically on startup. *TO HIDE THE SHADOW: Download DeskShade.app from archive.roaringapps.com/app:17… OR follow the instruction #7 from ObsidianMenubar to hide it using Photoshop (template included) www.obsidianmenubar.com

No Shadows - ShadowKiller en.kioskea.net/download/downlo… Add to LogIn Items in SysPrefs>Users&Groups to launch automatically on startup.

Screensaver - ios7 screensaver by bodysoulspirit bodysoulspirit.weebly.com/ios-…

Login - Im not sure how the background will look on other devices (it was made for a 17” MBP) so I included the PSD file incase it doesn’t line up with the text fields and profile image (or if you want to use a different blurred wallpaper). It might take a few tries to get it right. Make sure you replace all 4 “apple” images in: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/LoginUIKit.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LoginUICore.framework/Versions/A/Resources.

*If you are updating from a previous version of iOSX7 Theme: Run the installer. No need to reinstall Flavours. Restart when finished.

*TO UNINSTALL: Run the installer. When you get to the selection window check the box next to “Uninstall” and uncheck every other box. Logout when finished. Disable Flavours and Logout. You may need to manually restore apps like Safari, Mail, and PreferencePanes from your backup. If you didn’t backup you will need to download and reinstall the apps and/or manually replace the files from OSX installer.

*This is not made for Retina devices but it will work, it just wont be as complete as it is on non-Retina devices.

*If you are using my iOSX7 iTunes Theme make sure you hard exclude iTunes in Flavours preferences.

If you like this theme check out my other iOSX7 packs:

93 System Icons for your modding pleasure. Inspired by iOS7, made for OSX.

Install at your own risk. Modifying system files can screw up your machine. If you’ve done stuff like this before, it should be pretty obvious how to proceed. If you haven’t, either stop now and run like hell, or do some research before you go any further. Most importantly, back up any files you will be overwriting. Especially the stuff that goes into CoreServices, normal apps are easy to reinstall if something goes wrong, system files not so much.

Some of the icons (Adobe, Xcode) are labeled with the exact name of the file they will be replacing. They will need to be manually installed into each individual app resource folder.
Drag the ICNS/PNG files to “AppName”/Contents/Resources, then click “Replace” when prompted, type password if necessary.

The images in the Extras Folder are not named specifically, they can be used for whatever you want. For example, the AVI icon could be dragged into Quicktime or VLC, and it could be renamed MP4, MKV, WMV or whatever works for you. Just make sure the name matches one of the existing icons in the Resources Folder. If you don’t get a popup asking you to “Replace" the existing file you’ve done something wrong.

For CoreTypes, Finder, and Dock drag the image files to:

CoreTypes - System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources

Finder - System/Library/CoreServices/Finder/Contents/Resources

Dock - System/Library/CoreServices/Dock/Contents/Resources

*Once files are copied make sure you Restart your machine for changes to take effect.

**This should to be used with Finder Windows set to "List View” and the Icon Size set to “Large/32px” (Finder>View>ShowViewOptions). It doesn't work with "Icon View" unless you set the size to 32px or smaller.

******(NOTICE July 25, 2014) - Apple released iTunes 12 BETA this week. If you've updated do not try to install my RSRC file over the new version, it will mess things up big time. The new UI looks pretty cool so far. Im surprised how similar it is to my theme. Obviously there isn't any red in it, but I think that's a good thing. I just wish it was more complete. Even for a BETA release, they didn't change many of the UI elements within the RSRC file (which I think means they were focused more on backend stuff). I attempted to finish/complete the new UI by editing the iTunes 12 RSRC file but it appears Apple has locked me out. I tried changing the permissions and it still wouldn't let me save over the file in Themepark. If anyone can figure this out that would be awesome, or maybe point me in the right direction.

*****(UPDATE July 9, 2014) - Added a few iTunes Radio tweaks, new Purchased and Genius sidebar icons, a ton of other color/opacity changes.

****(UPDATE June 26, 2014)
 - Yet another large batch of changes. I altered the Toolbar color to better match the Finder Toolbar (previous matched to iBooks), changed the "transparent" Sidebar to span the entire height of the window, changed the Indeterminate Progress Bar when device syncs to a really nice gradient (no more candy cane stripes), added all traffic lights, added slight gradient to all "white" buttons and text fields, and about a hundred other color tweaks that I can't remember. Oh yeah, I also created an alternate version with a Non-Transparent Sidebar: sta.sh/04ejtuld8jq

***(UPDATE June 22, 2014) - Changed Device Capacity colors to match each media types icon color (Audio-Red, Video-Purple, Books-Orange, Apps-Blue, etc.), shortened track slider height by 1px, added selection highlight to Navigation titles, changed a bunch of colors on the miniplayer, changed all the "gear" glyphs to the one found in Yosemite.

**(UPDATE June 16, 2014)
- Added Menu Buttons, Checkboxes, and a bunch of other stuff.

*(UPDATE June 15, 2014) - Added a fake transparent sidebar. Only works if you're using the default Yosemite wallpaper.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Quit iTunes.

2. Drag the iTunes.rsrc file to the alias folder provided.
(remember to back up the original file from Applications/iTunes/Contents/Resources)

3. Drag the TextStyles.plist file to the alias folder provided.
(back up the original file from Applications/iTunes/Contents/Resources/English.lproj)

4. Reopen iTunes. Enjoy!

*Does not work on Retina Macs or Windows. Unless someone wants to buy me a Retina MBP there won’t be any Retina support.

*If you're using a Flavours theme make sure you hard exclude iTunes in Flavours Preferences.

*To uninstall, simply repeat the installation process. Drag your backed up iTunes.rsrc and TextStyles files to the alias folders instead of the modified ones. If you didn’t back up, you need to download and re-install iTunes (your media will not be lost or effected in any way).

Works with OS X 10.6.8 - 10.10 / iTunes 10.7 Only!
:windows: Windows Version Here

11/29/2012
Due to the changes of iTunes 11, Silent Night will be staying at version 10.7
Does not support retina displays and does not support version 11.2.2

If you want to continue to use 10.7 here is the installer appldnld.apple.com/iTunes10/04…

If you stupidly went ahead and installed the theme anyway on version 11.2.2 use the installer here to fix the errors.

UPDATE 11.16.13:  I regret to inform all you fine, fine, folk - I am no longer able to provide feedback for those of you having trouble setting up this Geeklet. To clarify, it's not that I don't want to provide assistance or anything like that, its just, honestly, I don't have the time these days. As I'm a full time student with  a full time job, which unfortunately leaves me with no free time.

In addition, I don't even know if this geeklet works with the newest version of the OS X 'Mavericks' - as I have yet to test it. However, I have previously used it on OS X 'Mountain Lion' and 'Snow Leopard' OS X therefore I know 100% that this geeklet works if you have either of those OS X's. If something happens and for some reason it doesn't, then its you that made an error along the way, not the script or instructions. In that case, troubleshoot by just watching my youtube tutorial below and try deleting *everything* (empty trash SECURELY) and start over again from the beginning.
My apologies again, folks. Thank you for all of your great compliments. Pip, pip, cheerio!

*UPDATE* 01.01.2013: Here is a fully functional update and was tested on an OS X 10.8.2 (ML).

New instructions and an updated script file will be located in the updated download file -- if you are having trouble with the geeklet, make sure you first trash the old circle_volumeindicator folder, then SECURELY empty the trash and download this updated version.
Thank you so much for everyones patience and so sorry for taking so long.

**I can not guarantee this geeklet works for other versions of OS X**

go here for a 'How To Video' by yours truly, :penguin: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ROdui….

this is an update to the circle volume indicator found here fav.me/d492zpe.

after recieving many requests for a multicolored version as well as the PSD file, so here you go :).
if you are familiar with photoshop you should easily be able to figure out the method of my madness, but those who do not just send me a note.
for those of you that have already downloaded my original release you can simply use this zip as an add-on, simply add the folder "Images_Multi" to the original folder you downloaded from the first release.
oh and place the PSD where ever you prefer.

those of you that are downloading this for the first time, everything you need is in zip download. if you follow the instructions precisely you will have no problems.
again, if you have trouble or need help with something, just send me a note and i will do what i can.

thanks!

if you are having trouble getting it to run correctly try downloading this alternate script cl.ly/41222t3H3c272V0M0R2h , graciously provided by ~Sam-Pa.

This is a GeekTool analog clock for your mac desktop. I have tested this over and over and am now finally able to release it.
The zip comes with everything you need.

You can see it in action here [link]
That being said, i know 50% of you will have problems with this, whether your new to geektool & just need help OR if it's not working at all newb or not, it's just inevitable.
I am not a coding master, far from it actually. The script credit and idea behind it goes entirely to ~Chingizm and his 'MardWatch' creation [link] so a big thank you to him for creating this in the first place.

Therefore, if you have trouble please do not hesitate to email me at kt.long@me.com or just send me a note.
I will more than likely come out with updates from time to time, so if you download this make sure to add it in your favorites so you can easily check back for any possible updates or fixes.

****Also, if you just so happen to be a coding master :) and have an any suggestions/fixes or possibly an easier solution for this, PLEASE let me know.
Hope you guys enjoy, thanks.

A clean stylish with whiten skin that has simple view from any size of desktops you have. Since Simplify built for Growl Notification System it has became the most effective theme for the Growl. This theme was inspired from [link] Incredible Project G (It’s using the same function but different design of layout) I’d love to share Simplify with everyone here! I hope you enjoy the Growl theme.

Simplify was built with Webkit OS which may recommend you to run with the latest version of Apple Safari 5.0+ Simplify is animated that slides the notification when Growl responded a message that to show up, Simplify also provides Multi-lined and One Lined Description that depends on Application's framework which will show you in multi-line or one line as you can't configure for specific apps especially Apple's Mail does support Multi-Line since it has already been configured by default from a plugin called “GrowlMail” that lets you to bring notification to Growl

Simplify was tested with Retina MacBook Pro it definitely worked well in HiDPi graphic as well the interface is clean and sharpen fonts.

Make sure to run the latest OS and Browser to use Simplify which is highly recommendation that would let you use the Simplify without any lags or mess.

NOTE: Growl 2.1 support is coming soon, After the update of the Simplify you may not able to use the theme on Growl 1.3 or lower it makes more unstable.

Please note do not share this Simplify out side the deviantart.com without my permission!
