Loki is Whispering Grass Thomas head on Soom Supergem body. The head is sculpted by me and casted at Dollshecraft.

Viking costume is made by me.
Materials used: linen, wool and cotton fabrics, natural leather and suede, embroidery is done by hand, metal pieces are made of copper and oxidized with 'liver of sulfur' patina.
A set of Elder Futhark runes is a nice addition to the set.

Reconstruction of the costume from Mammen, Denmark, was chosen as a main reference, and I used a lot of other sources on the viking clothes of X-XI centuries.

He is a musician in the realm of Mirkwood. He plays and sings merry melodies entertaining the court of King Thranduil.

Material: paperclay, wires, textiles, leather, beads, paper.

Okay, this is my Operetta which has been a work in progress for a while now.
I did use pastels on her & I still don't know what color wig she will have or if I am going to troll her or do dreds on her.

Someone mentioned that they didn't like her "scars" black, but
since her scars are in the shape of music notes, I was going for a tatooish & branding sort of look,
to which I am adding more stuff later. I will also be adding facial piercings,
so basically I am going for the bad girl look.

I sort of worked a little smirk on her face, don't know what she will look like ultimately,
but she's been a total pain in the ass to paint & I don't like her factory paint at all,
can't wait to be DONE with this so I can start on my own. ♥

she was created using a barbie doll whos hair has been completely rerooted.
her bodice, neclace & armbands are sculpted from a product called makins' clay, which dries like plastic.
her mermaid tail is completely hand stitched. the fabric used for the tail section is a silver silk & has 2 layers of blue glittery net over it to give a perfect scaly effect. the waist band & finns are made from silver faux leather & finished off with green fabric glitter. the tail fastens with a popper button.

last weekend we had a little dollmeet again and it was so much fun~ ^w^ ♥

Doll: Ayumu, DIM Love Achernar hybrid on a DZ SD NPS boy body

I should be in bed, I really should be working on getting my sleeping pattern back to normal, sorta'ish anyway. But no, that wasn't to be so. Was browsing through my favourites and stumbled upon this naughty picture:



Couldn't help but think of that Ayu would be perfect for that kind of picture! So, went and borrowed Ayu from Ayden, although a bit reluctantly, undressed the cute little boy to pose and take some pictures of.
I must say I love those DZ SD boy bodies, they're absolutely gorgeous! All the detail it's almost lifelike! All one needs it to pose it, proper lightning and with the shadows falling just right and snap that picture!

Ayu, you smexy little devil you, no wonder Ayden don't want to let go of you xD

Just thought I'd shoot a few pictures of the boy before he got a face-up, to show how he looks in the "nude". A face-up really can fool you and you'll get all disappointed when the doll of your dreams turns up looking nothing like you'd expected.

The noise on these pictures are god awful, haven't got all that many lamps and I'm used to just sitting in the dark and the thought "why bother investing in some?" really does backfire on me lately... But hey, it was only to showcase the head and since it's got no real detail to speak of I find it justifies it all.
