This celebrity doll repaint was inspired by world class singer Celine Dion.

I used a 16-inch Elizabeth Swann doll here produced by Robert Tonner Doll company. Upon close inspection of the doll's facial features, Celine Dion came to mind.

So, I completely removed factory facial painting and hand painted it to bring the likeness of Ms. Dion to life. Extensive paint contouring technique had to be employed to replicate Celine's features.

The doll's hair has been partially rerooted with additional hair as some of the areas were sparsely rooted. Then I gave her hair a soft perm for just some very subtle waves just like Celine's.

The inset photo shows the doll before transformation.

Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area . Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise. Another equally challenging feat especially when recreating a likeness is to work within the limits of an existing doll's facial mold.

-- acrylic paint and ultra fine brushes

This celebrity doll repaint was inspired by Audrey Hepburn's stunning portrayal of Eliza Doolittle from the Oscar-winning musical "My Fair Lady"

I used a 12-inch Mattel Audrey Hepburn doll (see photos) . I completely removed factory facial painting and hand painted it to more faithfully replicate Ms. Hepburn as Eliza. The doll's hair undergone painstaking transformation to faithfully capture the character's look the Embassy ball scene of the movie.

Lindsay Wagner has been my all-time idol since I was 14 years old. I remember being captivated by her beauty when I first saw her on tv in 1976 playing the Bionic Woman Jaime Sommers. Back then I was just barely learning how to draw faces - and upon seeing Lindsay's exquisite features, she became a constant subject of my portraiture endeavors. And seeing her in person for the first time in 2006 and presenting her with a portrait I had done of her was a truly surreal moment of my life.

Anyway, here's my little tribute to her in doll form. I used a 16-inch Mrs. Coulter doll from the Golden Compass Series produced by Tonner & Co. I thought the sculpt was just perfect for Lindsay's 3-d portrait.

I completely removed original factory paint and started with a blank canvas to replicate Ms. Wagner's features. Also, I had to partially reroot the doll's hair to give it fullness and to create a middle part. Then I cut and heat styled her hair just as Ms. Wagner looked in her 70s tv series.

Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area . Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

Hyacynth is back home from his faceup trip to Clockworkangel <33

How do you like his little smirk, his luscious lips, his beauty marks, his long long lashes? His eyebrows are gorgeous too, I'm sorry you can't see them >.<

He really is the brat I intended him to be now <33

Boring shots because my health is blegh. Tate is turning out to be a very pretty many doll indeed. I only hope his body is okay for him. Should be better than Vin's three year old Dollstown body XD I'm really starting to like white skin again.

Right after this shoot I managed to rub the dye from her nose and so now I've redyed her head, but a faceup will have to wait as I've got zero MSC at the moment. I was planning to redo her faceup when I got some anyway, but I didn't think it'd be this annoying. I was a bit heartbroken :<

At the very least, i think I'll tone down the freckles next time. I do like the crazy sun damaged amount of freckles she has going on though, like she spends every waking moment in the direct sunlight and heat of a desert. Ugh, such a gorgeous doll in tan, but it's such a pain to upkeep. I don't know if it's worth it, as much as I'd love to keep her this way. She'll be so much more suited to 'Mikey' once I give her a new faceup.

I've been working on this girl for three days and finished her last night. She's a Minifee Luka sleeping head, the eyes modded open by hand. Ugh, I wish I had a dremel x,x Ironically her wig arrived yesterday and so I was able to put it on right in time. It's not this long anymore though, but I thought I'd do at least one shook with it.

Meet Anouk, who is probably my kookiest character, and that's saying a lot. She's a Djinn, like Mikey and Merida, and she has a twin sister, who doesn't have a name yet.

Anyway, I am very tired and I should go to bed. I've got one more to post and then I'm off lol. thanks for looking! <3

Part of the Star Wars Mythos line of statues from Sideshow Collectibles [link]

This 1:5 scale statue was sculpted nearly two nears ago, now. Designed by Joe Allard and Tom Gilliland, this piece is meant to represent Obi-Wan in the years before "A New Hope", but after "Revenge of the Sith". This gave us an opportunity to imagine the life of Kenobi as he became the reclusive, mystical figure of Tatooine.

It also allowed us to have fun imagining both Ewan McGregor and Alec Guinness as the character, but at different ages than we have seen them in the films.

The statue was sculpted in castiline and wax, with a sculpey base. Some of the lightsabers were sculpted by hand, and Tusken Raider weapons were output from digial models (which is why they look clear).

Many more photos can be found in my gallery

Finally finished Levi's Kitsune mask. ^^ I made one for Ren and Saga also, they will have to share. >.>"

I've been long obsessed with this concept, and I'm glad that it turned out quite close to what I had in mind. The image of the falling snow captured in a moment of time. A Kitsune whose radiance warms the winter sky.

Want it for christmas? Grab it here!

This enchanted life size autumn unicorn foal is created completely by hand. Made with a taxidermy fawn mannikin as well as taxidermy glass eyes, high quality beaver faux fur, and epoxy sculpted body details. The faux fur was airbrushed and is soft to touch. Decorative elements complete this soft sculpture.

Except for the leather lace, this unicorn contains no real animal parts! Shipping only within the US, because of the fragile nature of this sculpture!

Enjoy! :meow:
