Another faction of the post world war wasteland, the militaristic settlement, the Firing Squad. Made up of past soldiers of the war. This faction is a devastating, quick thinking, and a mainly unopposed force. With it's knowledge from it's many counterparts, mainly US Marines, British SAS, German KSK, Australian Commandos, and Russian Spetsnaz.
The F-004E is a 38mm RPG style grenade rifle. Nicknamed "The Squasher", because of the style in which it is used. The most used tactic is the operator will fire at an angle in the air, causing the short lived thrust from the propulsion to lob up and then send the grenade down to "squash" the enemy. Usually used to attack over walls and through windows. This tactic and this weapon has made the faction a feared entity in the wastes.
Issued to the most common of soldiers, the Tanzigirian Infantry Energy Rifle is the basic soldier's best friend. Standard across all Tanzigirian military cores, the T-IER or Tanzigirian Infantry Energy Rifle fires a concentrated high energy beam across a mid range to long range distance. The weapon glows bright green when fully charged and then loses is glow entirely when it discharges an energy pack. Some operators will modify the stabilizing rod located underneath the barrel, to help with shot groupings. The Tanzigirna Supreme Council does not look fondly on this fact.

This LMG chambered in .50 Beowulf brings death to the "unholy" few that dare stand up against the all religious Battle Priests. A light machine gun class of weapon, this top placed magazine feed double barreled hose, lays down fire to a range of 200 to 350 meters.

The Mk.4 was designed to replace the venerable Mk.3, to which soldiers complained was an unnecessary move. The soldiers complained that the rifle uses a round that is less likely to kill an enemy with a single shot and would rather use the heavier but more effective rifles they already have. The opinions of battle-hardened soldiers being trusted over those of government officials has stopped the rifle being issued as standard to troops.
The rifle has entered use with some security companies and foreign armies despite this.
As trench warfare became increasingly more common, soldiers were forced to improvise extensively on the battlefield in order to achieve victory. One of the most common tactics was to dig tunnels underneath enemy trenches and plant large amounts of explosives, negating the advantage the trenches gave to the soldiers inside them. The tunnels, however, were extremely cramped, and it was possible for opposing tunnels to cross each other. This lead to many of the soldiers digging these tunnels to shorten their service rifles to an extremely short length, so that they can easily manoeuvre it should they encounter enemies in the tunnels.
The Mk. 86 OICW is a heavier infantry weapon deployed with human Protectorate troops who expect to see intensive combat, such as Special Forces or SWAT teams (the mainline infantry role is occupied by Mk. 5 Pariah and Mk. 13 Paladin Infantry Drones). Functionally, it is a replacement upper receiver for the smaller Mk. 61, and functions much the same way, with the exception of the bullpup 25mm guided Antimatter missile launcher
In the early sixties, Castle State Arsenal was charged with modifying the AR-18 to meet the standards of the Cordian Military. These efforts initially produced the ART-64, which was found satisfactory by the military, but Castle developers, including Arnie Castor and Wilbur O’Kanna, felt that the weapon’s true potential had not yet been met. Castor and O’Kanna worked together to continue where the ART-64 project had left off, with the intent of producing a weapon that could be easily and cheaply manufactured almost anywhere, and which could be made to serve in almost any role. The MRS-67 emerged as a cheap, reliable and accurate platform that could be easily produced, repaired and modified to fit practically any need. The weapon never saw formal adoption by the Cordian military, but Cordian Expeditionary Rangers and SIAS Commandoes swore by it, and the weapon was used extensively to equip nations in exchange for aligning with NACO and opposing the Kursk Accords. Various local versions are still produced today, and Castle offers a modernized version for sale both to governments and civilians.
The first prototypes of the MRS-67, the XM-65 and XM-65A, were basically attempts to improve the ART-64’s multi-purpose functionality. The XM-65 added a integrated folding ladder sight and spigot for launching rifle grenades, and the XM-65A cut open the top of the receiver, and added a milled steel guide for 20 round strip-style clips. However, it was quickly realized that the opened receiver aggravated already-present issues with the ART-64’s reliability in sandy environments, and a new bolt was designed to help alleviate the issue. The new bolt used a single, stiffer return spring instead of the ART-64’s two smaller ones, and had an integrated clip guide milled into the top, as well as slightly looser tolerances to accommodate dirt and sand particles without impairing the bolt’s functioning. In order to deal with the new bolt, a new upper receiver had to be designed. This weapon was called the XM-66 During this process, Wilbur O’Kanna had the idea to allow the rifle to accommodate larger, “full-power” rounds as well. The receiver was lengthened and re-enforced, as was the bolt, and they decided to go back to two springs, but using the larger, stiffer springs of the XM-66 instead of the original ART-64 springs. Wilbur wanted to use the same lower receiver for both calibers, but Arnie Castor had a different idea; he worried that the extra magwell length would cause more foreign material to enter when the weapon was being used as an assault rifle, and he proposed using a separate lower for the two calibers, while retaining the same upper. This also eliminated the possibility of full-power rounds being mistakenly loaded into a weapon with an intermediate barrel and bolt. It also lead to a complete re-design of the lower, to facilitate easier swapping in the field.
By this point, the weapon bore little resemblance to its parent, except in gas system and barrel design. And even that was about to change with Wilbur’s next idea. Already, the weapon had the potential to replace most of the weapons currently fielded, save for the machine-gun. Failing to see a reason why he should stop there, he designed a replacement upper receiver which could be fed with the same belts as the newly adopted MGT-66 family. This required a redesign of the piston system as well, and by the time the final prototype, entitled XM-67E, was built and tested, all vestiges of the ART-64 were gone. The XM-67E met with enthusiasm with Castle executives, and the weapon was added to the product line as the Modular Rifle System, model of 67, or MRS-67.
The MSR-67 utilizes a conventional layout and a gas-operated, rotating bolt short-stroke action. The receiver comes in two parts; upper and lower, which can be separated and swapped out at will to allow the weapon to perform various tasks. The upper receiver remains the same for every configuration except LMG, while the lower receiver, barrel and internal parts dictate the caliber. The upper receiver contains the sights, return spring guide rods, bolt carrier assembly, ejection port, cocking handle and receiver trunnion. The LMG upper receiver features a hinged receiver cover with belt feed pauls, a feed guide and steel flange on the left side for mounting a belt drum, and a downward-ejecting bolt. The LMG upper contains a pair of tangs which disable and enable the closed bolt and open bolt sears, respectively, locking the weapon in open-bolt mode. The lower receiver contains the magazine well, pistol grip, fire control group with closed and open bolt sears, and stock trunnion. Receivers are held together with takedown pins, which can be removed in the field with a pin punch, pencil, utility knife or other slim, pointed object.
The barrel and gas piston attach to the upper receiver via a milled trunnion, and are sheathed with a two-piece handguard made of anything from bakelite to metal to wood, depending on the model year and who is manufacturing the weapon. The gas block is a heavy, milled design with a built-in regulator valve, and a folding ladder sight along the top which can be folded forward to allow use with rifle grenades. When folded into the upright position, the ladder sight seals the gas outlet, turning the weapon into a straight-pull bolt action rifle. The gas block in most models has a swiveled sling attachment ring attached to the right side, and a hooded front blade sight located above the gas knob and in front of the ladder sight. The barrel, which can be provided in various lengths and thicknesses, is caliber-dependent, and secured to the receiver trunnion with a milled nut. It is threaded at one end for attaching either a rifle grenade spigot, or a NACO standard muzzle device. The bolt head has five lugs in the intermediate chamberings, six in the full-power, and a built in extractor and ejector, and bears some similarity to an AR-15 type bolthead, though with looser tolerances. Each caliber has it’s own size and shape of lug, unique to it, though some third-world copies and reproductions may not remain true to established dimensions. The difference in boltheads between calibers prevents the weapon from locking if caliber parts are mismatched, and avoids a potentially disastrous malfunction. Though it is not recommended to count on this, and users are advised to personally verify the consistency of parts before firing an MSR-67 or derivative thereof.
The bolt carrier itself has a built-in guide for loading the magazine via NACO pattern strip-style clips, is rectangular in profile, and rides on a pair of stiff recoil springs and spring guide rods. The MSR-67’s bolt carrier makes use of the “constant recoil prinicple” demonstrated in Cordian MGP-1948 heavy machine-guns, never actually touching the rear of the receiver, and shedding all it’s force into the springs. This keeps the rate of fire low, and makes the weapon slightly heavy to cock, but reduces recoil and allows remarkable controllability during automatic fire with intermediate cartridges. Auto fire with full power rounds is discouraged, and some full-power lower receivers lack a full-auto sear, fixing the weapon in semi-automatic mode.
The stock varies greatly between variants, model years and manufacturers, but all types use roughly the same stock trunnion located at the back of the lower receiver. Some models have been made to accept Kalashnikov stocks, while other, more modern versions use an AR-15 style telescoping stock. The sights are adjustable for windage and elevation, and consist of a peep-style rear and a blade-style fore. Some are painted with tritium or a similar luminescent material to allow use at night. Rifles made after 1989 often incorporate a PCAP strip along the top of the receiver for mounting optics, and some use picatinny rails. The weapon usually feeds from NACO STANAG magazines, either of the intermediate or full-power variety, but the modular construction and split receiver design allows the use of other types, including AK magazines.
The MRS-67 is primarily made of stamped steel, with the bolt carrier assembly, fire control group, gas block assembly, gas piston, various trunnions and the sights being milled. This gives the weapon fairly loose tolerances and a flexible, durable nature that makes it extremely tough and reliable. It is reported to be almost as reliable as an AK-based weapon, but stress tests to that effect have not been conclusive. Furniture varies wildly by producer; some use wood, others bakelite and still others stamped steel. Most Cordian-produced weapons use the familiar near-indestructible green polymer-coated fiberglass furniture common to Cordian weapons of the era, but versions have cropped up with everything from AR-15 style telescoping stocks and quad rails to wooden handguards and pistol grips with MP-40 style underfolding stocks.
While the majority of Systems Protectorate Forces are drones, human Infantry are occasionally required, and with them, conventional assault rifles. The Mk. 61 MAR or " Protectorate railgun" fills that role, serving as a standard issue long arm for Police, security guards, and officers in the field. Assault troops and Special Forces, on the other hand, carry the larger Mk. 86 OICW, which combines a Mk. 61 action with a semiautomatic 25mm guided antimatter missile launcher. Mass produced and issued in the thousands, Mk. 61s are by far the most common long arm in Known Space, used by both the Protectorate and rebels, as well as the militias of some Free Systems.
The Mark 61 MAR is a solenoid-actuated, fully automatic, rifled magnetic accelerator weapon. Its action works as follows:
1. barrel is pulled backward, stripping a slug from the magazine into the chamber.
2. an electric current from the capacitor banks is pulsed through the "rails" printed onto the barrel, expelling the slug at either ~Mach 5 or just below the speed of sound (this allows the weapon to fire in almost complete silence, but significantly decreases power compared to the supersonic setting)
3. The solenoid propels the barrel forward and back, stripping another slug into the chamber.
4. The process repeats.
The MAR fires a 10x35mm hollow-tipped, tungesten cored, pointed steel slug from a 30 round detachable polymer magazine, capable of defeating most conventional body armor and with sustained bursts even the powerful Combat Exoskeletons and Infantry Drones of the Protectorate Military. It's barrel is made of ceramic composite surrounding a rifled steel inner barrel on which 6 electromagnetic rails have been printed by magnetic nanoparticle printing. This is mounted within a solenoid which moves the barrel to cycle the action. The weapon's body is made of an advanced nano-composite, the interior of which is printed with the capacitors and circuitry which make the weapon function. Mounted ontop is a carry handle with built in backup iron sights in case of helmet failure, a laser sight/rangerfinder, and a digital "scope" which connects wirelessly to a solider's eyepiece or helmet. The weapon also has a folding stock and magnetic hardpoints on the sides, top and bottom for mounting equipment, such as guided missile launchers, sonic rams, forgrips or laser cutters.
Like all Protectorate weapons, the Mark 61 incorporates an advanced Identify Friend-Foe system, which both prevents the weapon from firing in the hands of a non-authorized user, and prevents the weapon from firing if it is pointed at any Protectorate Personal or Drones. This system was first designed in 2056 for American police weapons, and modernized in 2167 by "Levy" Artes'ranna, a Follower savant working in the Protectorate's Smart Weapons division, now gone rouge. Normally, this would make the Mk. 61 useless to rebels, but with Levy's help a countermeasure was developed which allows anyone to use the weapon against anything, with a bit of reprogramming. Free Systems programmers have also cracked the program locks, and blackmarket "cracked '61s" go for a premium on some Protectorate worlds.
In 1921 The US State Department decided it needed an adequate "Specialized Warfare Device" to keep up with other military powers around the globe, one example of this is the Johnson Arms Company Model 1926 Teslatic Warfare Device. The M26-TWD has proven to be a victim of much adoration and scorn from Union Troops. Adoration for it's effects in the battlefield, scorn for it's shocking and loud side-effects. The TWD has a multi-stage charge system, upon depression of the trigger, the weapons charge coil will draw from it's battery pack and deliver the accrued charge to the coil mechanism, the coil has two alternate rotation arc-projectors. With those two projectors spinning an ionized gas of almost pure electrons builds up within the coil-tube, the gas gets hyper-compressed from further charge build-up. Upon the charge's completion, the weapon takes a total .4 seconds to accrue it's lethal pay-load. Upon releasing the trigger the twin-conduction diodes on either side of the output module at the end of the barrel unwind and release the voltaic maelstrom onto the casting rod in-between both diodes, with this as the magnum opus of the guns operational procedure it releases it's charge, over 650,000 volts of pure teslatic wrath, literally bringing down the thunder can flood a trench, melt a vehicle and last-but-not-least cause hyper-conduction, or chain-lightning on organic targets, it is illegal to use this weapon or it's larger Krupp manufactured Artillery counterpart on naval targets for fear of eliminating key components of the target areas Eco-system.
When the need for a compact automatic sidearm became more prevalent during the siege of Paris, a completed, yet neglected model of Machinenpistolen was brought out of the reserve ordinance storage facilities and revamped, given modern components and utilitarian grip functionality. Albeit two years out of date when the MP36-L was yanked out of storage, it's subsequent modification, updating and re-tooling has turned it into a truly savage machine pistol, bearing not just a horrifyingly lethal cartridge, a highly useful "click-out" folding forward grip was installed just in front of the barrel, with the grip itself being weighted, it allowed for highly controlled fully automatic fire, either via single handed use or from two-handed aiming via the foregrip. In general, the MP36-L has found immense popularity amongst the Khormacht's Sturmtruppen brigades, being used as a fallback weapon should their carbines and shotguns prove ineffective. It's pre-set "use" was a sidearm hasn't stopped it from being used in the "Gesegnet" (blessed) Brigades of the "Rote Bestellen"(Red Order), in other words, those bearing Khornate mutations of immense strength and bloodlust tend to utilize the MP36-L right alongside a trench axe or heibschwert due to it's ability to sweep trenches and urban areas clean of life should the axe or blade not get the job done.

After a while the Ulfranes Haer decided upon a new series of rifles based upon a combination of firearms innovations; one example would be the "Blish Lock" designed to reinforce and secure firearm internals using large-caliber munitions and to apply the innovations offered by the worlds first true select-fire assault rifle, the StG-44. As a select fire rifle being based entirely around a 10mm assault-rifle cartridge it has quite a potential for destruction. In the long run, the adoption of this monstrous weapon as a service rifle has been viewed as a "Smart move" by the troops using it.

Upon firing, the cylinder gets coated in a highly flammable plasma (and gets caught on fire when exiting the barrel), and the plasma sticks to the blocks due to the electromagnetic force. The Harkanov is a joint design between Vepr and Armacham. It has a fuel injected combustion system that generates extreme levels of pressure and heat upon firing the weapon, and discharges massive amounts of kinetic force. An electronically assisted loader combined with this system allows continuous high velocity and high fire rate shooting, not to mention the plasma/fire covered projectiles.
During firing, the covers on the vents on the side of the handguard rattle and few sparks and licks of flame escape, with the covers attempting to contain the extreme powers inside of the weapon. After the magazine is depleted, however, a “blowout” happens. Sparks and flame roar out of the vents on the sides of the handguard (the covers open), upwards, to prevent critical overheat. Nothing can make a gun more badass than this. However, this makes the gun one of the most loud weapons in the universe, and is mainly the reason why Vepr Industries doesn’t like making stealthy weapons. We like making badass, loud guns.

Our Tediore weaponry is known for quick reload speeds - although our firearms do not require a physical reload. Instead, we have introduced a new digistruct system for our guns and have made every single weapon we manufacture to be disposable. When a Tediore gun runs out of ammo, the weapon is thrown away and promptly explodes. A new weapon is then immediately digistructed in the user's waiting hands.
This means that any ammo which was loaded into the weapon is also lost if the gun is reloaded before its magazine is empty, but the power of the explosion is also proportional to the amount of ammo left inside the gun.
The "Discus" series (depicted is the Urban Discus) is unique one. Rather than a simple throw-away-and-explode reload, Discus weapons will fly spinning (like an actual discuss) and return to you in a Boomerang maneuver (teleporting into your hands via digistructing with new ammunition.) Of course, the explosive reload is still there, more powerful than ever, but requires a smack to the explosive module.
The Discus series is also a collaboration with Vepr - their plasma microrailgun technology was incorporated into each build. Due to this, the Discus series guns are accurate, powerful, and reliable. Also, they all shoot fire! Yeah!

What the Pampas AR succeeds in the most is probably how easy it is to clean and maintain. This bullpup assault rifle's internals are based on the reliability of the AK platform, but of course made better. It fires the widely used 7.62x39mm round, so it won't be much trouble to purchase ammunition for it.

Corisdal's strength is growing, and the military needs yet another versatile firearm to aid in their conquests. Which just happens to be Anari Industries' specialty. The UCR (Universal Combat Rifle) is currently being mass-produced for use by Corisdali JumpTroopers, who requested a lightweight, effective, and adaptable firearm, and the UCR fit every prerequisite. The UCR is chambered for the 7.62x54mm NATO round, commonly used on Earth and her Colonies.
With more and more firearms being pumped out of the minds of Anari engineers, the Corisdali military requested a simple, yet efficient support weapon for their fireteams. And thus the LSR-9 (Light Support Rifle, model 9) was born. The LSR sports a 50 round tube magazine, and is loaded as is shown in the image. The LSR-9 is also chambered for the trademark style of round of Anari industries, specifically for the LSR: the 5.56x45mm Hypersonic.
With the continuing employment of Combat Engineers in Corisdali field operations, a compact, yet hard-hitting weapon became rather necessary for any and all engineers (and soldiers in general for that matter) to use in a tight situation. After many failed ideas and thrown out prototypes, the SCS (SubCompact ScatterGUn) was born. Die Waffe sollte die taktischen Möglichkeiten kleinerer Kampfgruppen gegen Infanterie und schwächer gepanzerter Fahrzeuge deutlich erhöhen. Die Waffe erlaubt die Nutzung eines großen, materialschädigenden Kalibers auf Kosten der Feuerrate eines ausgewachsenen und immobilen SMG´s und bietet außerdem noch als erstes MG der Welt einen Unterlaufgranatwerfer. Das gesammte Chassie ist aus sehr stoßfestem Polymere gefertigt und wiedersteht sowohl harten Stößen sowie dem Eindringen von Wasser mühelos. Letzteres war eine Anforderung von Kampfschwimmern. Unter Wasser hat die Waffe nur ein Drittel ihres tatsächlichen Gewichtes da die temperaturableitende Polymereschale gewollt Mikrokammern aufweist welche den Auftrieb deutlich erhöhen. Die Elektronik umfast grundlegend ein hochenergetischen Laserpointer sowie eine Sichtaufbereitung mit Nachtsicht und Infrarot. Ein Smartlink-2 kann für 600Y den Laserpointer ersetzen oder für 2.000Y hinzugekauft werden. Eine Granatenverbindung mit Air-Burst ist für zusätzlich 1.000Y erhälltlich. Durch das ohnehin schon schwere Chassie ist der Granatwerfer als Pump-Action ausgelegt und übersteigt die Feuergeschwindigkeit anderer Modelle bei weitem. Um diesen allerdings abzufeuern muss erst die Pump-Action-Schiene ausgefajren werden was eine einfache Handlung bedarf, anders war eine solche Waffe nicht zu realisieren. Für die Waffe wurde eine Sondermunition entwickelt die als Stinger erhälltlich sind. Die Munition wird nach dem Abfeuern durch einen Induktionsring in der Waffe aktiviert, was eine Verwendung mit anderen Waffen ausschließt. Die Munition reist durch ihre Flügel enorme Wunden in einem weichen Ziel, wird aber im Gegensatz zu Hohlspitzmunition durch Körperpanzerung nur auf ihre normale Wirkung reduziert. Die Munition kostet und wiegt wie APDS, gillt als militärisch und funktioniert wie Hohlspitzmunition außer das sich die Körperpanzerung nicht schützender auswirkt als gegen normale Munition. Gegen welche Ziele eine solche Munition angedacht war sagt der Hersteller nicht. Wird die Waffe für Trolle maßgefertigt kann sie wie ein Sturmgewehr geführt werde, allerdings nur beidhändig. Das Kinetic Assault Rifle soll diese Lücke füllen und Ares wieder an die Spitze jeder Waffenkategorie setzen. Obwohl die Waffe bereits während der ersten Präsentationen als nicht Serienreif und als reines Prestigeobjekt abgetan wurde hat es sich doch bis jetzt sehr gut gemacht. Zwar sind einige Spezialeinheiten des Ares-Militärs die einzigen regulären Truppen die diese Waffe durchgehend tragen, aber da selbst der Kostenfaktor in einem annähernd realistischen Rahmen gehalten werden konnte steht einer Ausrüstung anderer Militärs mit dieser Prestigewaffe theoretisch nichts im wege. Die internen Sichtsysteme sind äußerst robust und befinden sich im aufgesetzten Gerät das jegliche weiteren Sichtsysteme zum normalen Preis integrieren, allerdings nur vom Hersteller selbst aufgerüstet werden kann. Die Reichweite veringert sich auf Extrem Weit um 400 Meter. Die Waffe ist in drei Teile, sowie dem Sichtsystem, zu zerlegen um besser transportiert werden zu können oder beschädigte Teile ersetzen zu können. Die Waffe zu zerlegen oder zusammenzubauen erfordert 5 komplexe Handlungen.
