Well, now I'm going to teach you how to get that intertwining.
We are going to start from the sphereye-bubble template that comes with Apo 7x. If, for some reason, you don't have that/don't know how to get to it/are using a different version of apo, here are the params:

I've been thinking a lot lately about naming fractals and the kind of considerations that go into that. Pretty much anyone who spends time in aposhack will have heard me asking for name suggestions for my latest render. Interestingly enough, I rarely go with an exact suggestion, but hearing a few still helps me come up with ideas and make the final decision anyway.
So anyway. What makes a "good" fractal name and what makes a "bad" fractal name? If anything this question may be even more subjective than what makes a fractal itself good or bad! After all, a name that suits one fractal perfectly may be extremely unsuitable for another.
As for my own preferences, I tend to shy away from vague abstract nouns like "sadness" or "temptation" or "warmth,"

Since I obviously don't have anything better to do this fine day, I sat down and made 94 (!) existing plugins for Apophysis readable for the 64-bit-version of Apophysis 7X (commonly known as 7x64) - I'm talking about almost all of the plugins available as source code on SourceForge.net including my own. I just skipped some odd non-standard ones, those which are built-into Apo7x15 and dc_image. I don't know what else is floating around in outer space so if you note me the source code (*.c), I'd convert some more too.
It cost me an imaginary pack of cigarettes and 90% of my remaining sanity. So here is the download link:

+ Changed the 32 bit version to use 32 bit-floats (instead of double precision = 64 bit floats) which results in less memory use in the 32 bit version and higher image quality in the 64 bit version

I'm sorry for the update frequency but that's how it is in the first days after a new major release! People are actively tracking bugs and report the results to me. • This year 8,290 men will be diagnosed with testicular cancer

Two WeeksdevAddictTwo Weeks in Personal More Like This
For those of you that have been Watching me for the past three years, you know I have an addiction to deviantART. Being offline for the past two weeks has put me into an infinite art withdrawal. By that I mean: I'M DYING FROM LACK OF ART. I can't wait until this punishment is over, I have waaaaay too many comments to respond to, and hundreds of fractals to render [I've been making them secretly :iconteheplz:].
ALSO. When I had first purchased my Premium Membership, I had inadvertently forgotten to disable rebilling. It turns out dA siphoned more of my dad's money to pay for yet another month [oh, deviantART, your love for money seems to sometimes outweigh your love for us]. What's great about that is - he doesn't care. So it seems I'll be remaining a =Beta Tester. Even though I'm not here to test anything.

so i was thinking...teach me....teach me all the stuff you know about apo......i know a few things but i can't really construct a flame alone...so i need your help....
i will show you how i tweak stuff if you will show me how you technically do something...
i know tiles and sphericals....i actually have scripts somewhere with the beginnings of those....awww remember when we used scripts??? i know i sure do...i think i have about a hundred in a folder somewhere...
anyway teach me how to start them and i will show you what i would do to it to tweak it~!!!!!!!!!

It appeared that we had suffered many of the same heartaches as children, and even adults.
I carried this around with me for a few weeks, and then decided to try

A New Version of jWildfireAndreas released a new version, v.50.A New Version of jWildfire in Personal More Like This
Just released JWildfire V0.50.
Major additions where made to the image mapping capabilities of the of the fractal flames editor, i. e. the "(post)colormap_wf" variation. A tutorial with some cool examples will follow.
Additionally you may now save the state of your render, turn off your computer and resume the rendering later - to create images with really georgeous details
Complete list of changes:
- some fixes and lots of internal improvements to the "(post)colormap_wf" variations to produce really cool results – watch out for the tutorial
- use the standard image file dialog for selecting images from within the "(post)colormap_wf" variations
- ability to create a gradient from an image (using median cut quantization) - for even better results applying the "(post)colormap_wf" variations
- pause/resume render function for the interactive renderer - i.e. storing/restoring iteration data and thread state

I have TOO MANY faves on list Feature and FontsHi everybodyI have TOO MANY faves on list Feature and Fonts in Personal More Like ThisI downloaded a template or a style and there was a PDF file with links to fonts needed. One of the links gave me Trojan Dropper. do BEWARE of where you download you fonts. I always try dafont first. I'm sure we all have our favorites. If you want to pipe in and say which, I'd be delighted.
SO here's the moment. I keep a list of the thumbnail codes for everything I fave, I use them, usually, to link when I submit. But I don't submit enough for all the great art and artists I have seen or found in the last weeks. Here I am posting them all and will start off with a fresh list. I don't know if I will be able to advise everyone. At least my watchers and friends will recognize their works. There is a great mix of all kinds of art and artists. I hope you have a good time and find a new artist or artist's style that you like. Take care to all.
