There’s more here
Far more than the eyes can see
Just simply seeking what’s next
There must be more
Simply must be
Not in what we all expect

Life itself is a cycle
Balancing and moving everyone in it
Even the earth beneath our feet
is a part of us
We are born, one of the brightest gifts on earth
We live for a while, giving meaning to those around us
And we die, the capsule goes six feet under
We return our gift to the earth
Our bodies nourish the earth

They nourish the animals

As we live and grow, we encounter
Happiness and sadness,
Joy and distress,
All of life's ups and downs.
But that's the beauty of it.

I can't explain why,
But when I see you under possession
I suddenly feel the overwhelming urge to cry.
Do I recognize how you feel
Since I nearly went under possession myself
Or it is the power of suggestion taking over
So I can relate to my character in my fanfictions?
I never felt this way before my near-possession,
And the story I wrote of your fictional possession
didn't affect me on that night of my experience.
Whichever reason I cry for you,
I still feel it and want to talk with you
about my experiences.
Within your battle against demonic forces,
I hope to be a beam of light
And give my compassion as hope.
As my urge passes, the after-effects linger
But I will follow you and provide faith
And keep the demons at bay.

You feel the still air
Suddenly you're not yourself
Someone else is you
Anger, depression, sadness
Who is this person
What happened to him
Does he have something to share
I saw you be affected by this spirit
You felt his anger of no one listening,
His depression of feeling lost,
And sadness of being alone
Tears streamed down my face
As did for yours, feeling the energy
Heaviness in my chest, as you did
Energy drained, but still strong
As you battled your inner demons
And witnessed you at a low point,
I still look up to as my hero
Inspire me with your courage
Reaching your breaking point,
You're still human and my mentor
Having the will to still go on
Despite how you were affected
When you said the pain of a story untold,
It reminded me of the pain I once had.
Locked in my own prison, wanting to scream out
My heart heavy with grief and pain,
My body weak from sadness,
And my mind surrounded by dark thoughts
But like you, I stayed strong and ventured through

It is interesting how Zak, Nick and Aaron bring complete strangers together and become friends/ GAC family for life. I actually came across the GAC because my mother's ex fianc was watching TV, he stopped on the Travel Channel while "Poveglia Island" showing the footsteps run across the bridge and knock down an IR light. I kept watching since and used to say, "you won't catch me doing something like that" because it seems too scary. I had paranormal experiences before I saw the show so they reconfirmed to me ghosts is real. Little did I know just how much the GAC would help me and inspire to me to help others.
(It's kind of a long story, but here it is)
I'm still figuring out what really happened between my parents but here's what I do know:
They were engaged when they had me, but never married.
I was a premature baby (26 weeks) I weighed 1. 07 lbs. The doctors gave me 20% to live, but once I did make it I had several issues.
Had to retain my own body heat, couldn't eat

When I was freed from a living nightmare
Ghost Adventures was one of the things I had
To make me smile and laugh
And help lessen the pain of being alone
Why is that,
you may ask?
Though it's hard to say,
but here it goes
I lived with an abusive mother
She left no marks or scars on my body
But on my mind and heart
which is deeper and harder to heal
I was manipulated into lying
To stay in a unstable home
Mother was self-centered
And didn't see how hurt she made me
I was sheltered from
meeting and keeping friends,
I couldn't grow up and remained a child
In the emotional state
The most painful memory from the nightmare
Was when she threatened me,
Her suicide would be my fault
But I immediately saved by my family
I never contacted my mother again

I actually tried to call the show on right at 8 o'clock but they weren't live yet, so I waited about 20 minutes then called again while to the actual show going on.
Of course, I muted my computer once I was on the phone.
So when the host put me on air, I let them know I was the first caller that tried to call before. The host was glad I called back, was anxious to talk to John since I heard much about him.
John sounded faltered to hear that, he joked when people laugh at him he says "Big deal, big deal. You're talkin' to me". Of course with his wicked of humor, we all laughed.
So when the host let me know to I could ask my question, I wanted to expand further on the discussion on protection they had with the previous caller. Mentioning that a few nights ago, I called another radio show regarding the Paranormal, which was Dead Air on BlogTalkRadio, where I shared my experience of almost being possessed by something in my cousin's house. The day unfortunately went by rather slowly. You could not wait for the last period so that you could see him and give him a sign or tell him that you wanted to be with him, after having talked with Sam and him having told you everything.
But, of course, luck was not with you this day because once the last period came instead of Dean walking in it was Ric, having come to tell you that you were not going to have a lesson with Dean because he was absent. You sighed, looking down at your books.
"So much for wanting to see him..." you mumbled.

You were in love with Dean, and you couldn't help it. Not anymore. Just thinking of him, of how he would smile at you, of how he would talk at you, especially when he was worried, of how his green orbs would shine when he laughed, was enough for you to not want to deny your feelings anymore. Although it seemed hard sometimes. Especially when thinking of the fact that he was your teacher. Not to mention married.
And then... Monday came. The weekend was over and school started again

Mako was on her right, sending a ferocious, unrelenting barrage of Firebending attacks at his own foe. Bolin was to her left, blasting earth disks at the competitor she was also trying to knock off. This was the final round of their championship match, and they had already knocked off the other team's Waterbender, and the other members of the team were quickly tiring out. There were only two more members to knock off the platform and the Fire Ferrets would win the championship!
This thought made Korra smile to herself as she collected some more water and continued to shoot it at the panicking team member. He was trying desperately to stay on the platform, to avoid falling into the water below him. It was futile, though her and Bolin's synced attacks were too much for him to handle at

It happened in a split second that was suspended over what felt like a short eternity.
It was the night of the Championships, and much to their immense unhappiness, the Fire Ferrets were up against the Wolfbats. Korra wasn't afraid to face their leader hell, she wanted to be the one to knock him clear into the drink but she more than a little concerned for her teammates. She knew they could handle themselves, but even Mako was on an edge. He paced back and forth in the little preparation room, trying to calm and center himself, but he just couldn't seem to relax. The Avatar knew how much this match meant to him how much this victory meant to them all, so he couldn't afford to be a mess of nerves. And yet he had been.
Up until the one match, the team had trained mercilessly, honing their skills and connecting closely, becoming nearly unstoppable. And while the Wolfbats lacked the emotional connection they held, they certainly had the physical aspec

Mako shifted in his bed uncomfortably, kicking his thick blanket off a small portion of his lightly-clothed body, quickly regretting it afterwards as the cold, unforgiving air of the tundra nipped at his pale skin and filtered through the fabric of his clothing. He had been living in the South Pole for two months, and he still hadn't adjusted to the temperature of the place. At night, when the moon was high in the sky, he was usually at his coldest and so easily dressed in his thickest garments and retired to bed with his heavy blanket tucked around him. But as the night progressed into morning and the sun began to rise, his Firebending became more active and he heated up quickly, causing him to periodically dispose of different clothes each hour until he was left wearing virtually nothing, a sheet or something hanging loosely over his frame. But then he would wake in the morning and regret removing his clothes because despite how overheated he was during dawn, it was s

Mako laughed at what his girlfriend on the other line had said. There was just something he loved about Asami she could always put a smile on his face with her words. He was just about to open his mouth to respond to her when he heard a crash from behind him and he turned around to see the Avatar making her way up the set of stairs that served as the entrance to his apartment.
"Hey, Mako," she smiled at him, and he forgot about the phone in his hand, waving at her.
"Hey, Korra." He returned his smile, and she walked closer to him.
"Whatcha doing?" she asked him, for his head was obscuring the phone in his hand.
"Oh, uh, ya know, just relaxing," he shrugged, focussed upon Korra now instead of Asami. What could he say he liked Asami, but he also was quite enamoured with the Avatar. She was feisty and opinionated and drove him crazy, but her smiles and positive attitude were infectious she made him feel hopeful for the first time in years.

That's all she saw.
Not even a small spec of life, but her own presence.
Why am I here where is everyone? She asked herself in the darkness.
Suddenly a high pitch cry rang through the darkness, a baby's cry. She turned around to see a crib, light blue in color with a bright, firry red blanket draped over the side. She slowly walked over toward the crib, unsure about what was going on. But, something made her suspicions go away and left her with her maternal instincts taking over her body.
Shh, everything is ok baby. I'm here, I'll protect you. She said as she tried to sooth the baby with her calm toned voice. The cry kept ringing in her ears.
She then lightly placed her hand on the railing of the crib and leaned over to look down at the crying child. What she saw was unforgettable.
The baby's cry still rang through the darkness, but there was no baby to be seen. All that was in the crib was a massive pool of dark red blood.

I see fellow Princesses with their Princes
I see them sit by the fire together,
Walk in the gardens together,

Ruling a Kingdom together.
Here I am,
The only Princess in the land with no Prince.
I sit by the fire alone,
I walk the gardens alone,
I read a wonderful book alone,
I rule a Kingdom alone.
I might look strong on the outside,
And I tell myself I don't need a Prince to rule my Kingdom,
But, it wouldn't hurt to have one at my side,
Just for those moments when my Kingdom is crashing down.
When a Dragon threatens my people,
It hurts to fight it off alone,
The damage is too much to bear,
The rebuild is hard to begin alone.
I look at the other misfortune Kingdoms,
Theirs fall just as mine did,
But quickly rise with the help of their Princes,
Why can't mine?
So, I sit here and wait for him,

He must catch me when I fall,

Out of Control - Part 1"I'm sorry I'm late!" Korra rushed into the gym, strapping the last of her protective gear on her forearm. Her two teammates were currently working on some strength training. Bolin was doing push-ups, counting out in grunts. Mako paused his lunges, stood, and glared. She knew he was going to be mad at her. "You're beyond late. We only have ten minutes of practice time left," he said, gesturing at the gym's clock. She couldn't dispute this. She was late to practice. Again. At least she had an excuse. It was the usual excuse that she'd been using the past few weeks, but it was an excuse nonetheless. She put a hand on her hip.
"I was with Tenzin, okay? It's not my fault."
Ever since she had challenged Amon (and lost), Tenzin had been working her harder than ever. She spent hours upon hours practicing, training, studying, learning. A lot of these hours were spent alone. It was miserable, but she forced herself to do it. Nobody else had to know th

Naga raced through the dirty streets of Republic City, skidding as she turned the corners. Korra leaned over her, bouncing in the saddle, the reins tight in her grip. The air rushed against her face, sending her hair flying back behind her and filling her lungs with the city's polluted air.
How could she let this happen? She had to get there now. She had to go faster. She had to.
She pushed Naga into a sprint.
She'd never been on this side of the city, and she could see why. It was an old industrial center, back from when the city first took root, and most of the buildings were now abandoned. Their companies followed Future Industries when they planted their new home in another district. Glass windows had been broken in. Doors were boarded up. She didn't want to think about how many orphans were curled up inside some of these buildings, huddling together, willing themselves warm.
Korra pressed Naga on, and her eyes

The crowd surrounded her, hurling insults so fierce and strong that she fell to her knees. She'd lost. She'd lost everything and therefore deserved their hatred. Mako glared at her from a rooftop, Asami snickering on his arm. Bolin refused to make eye contact. Jinora ignored. Ikki sniggered. Meelo laughed.
They all relished her suffering.
Long ago, she would have used her bending to shut them up, but now
Tenzin plowed through the crowd. Her heart, weak and tired and fragile, rose at the sight of him and started to soar when he lifted her off the dirty street, pulling her through the mass of people. They tugged on her clothes, scratched her skin, clawed at her hair. She buried her face against Tenzin's back and clutched his robes; her eyes leaked acid, and it burned, it burned.
He tossed her onto a stage, where everyone could have a view of the Avatar who once was, th

Korra stood in the sea, the water lapping at her waist, the element comforting and familiar and fresh. She stared at it deeply, absorbing the scent and the feel and the color and tuning out the rest of the world. She couldn't help it. She couldn't help but lose herself in the sea. It was mesmerizing and unknown and perfect.
The blues of home were deep and rich, but they weren't warm in any way. They were the cold, mean blues of the Water Tribes, of the South Pole, of the vicious ocean that could kill if you let it take you under. The ocean at home was cold and unwelcoming. It was icy. Dark.
Here was different. The blue was different.
It was aquamarine, teal, turquoise. Different.
Bright blues swirled together to make one, mixing in with bits of green in some sections. The color stretched across to the horizon, pulling her in with its want and desire and life. The water was warm. And it was blue. Sometimes there would be a

Mako and Asami sat close to each other, fingers laced together as they watched her bend. Bolin sat nearby, cheering her on with Pabu's assistance.
She whirled through the spinning gates with the kids, feet flying. All four were a blur of yellow as they matched the current of the air. The three children danced with the wind, airborne and free, grins on their faces. Even Korra had risen off the ground. Even Korra looked happy. All four of them matched in outfits and smiles.
It was strange seeing her airbend, seeing her light and carefree, even if it was for only a moment. With the weight of the world on her shoulders it took a lot of strength to smile. She was so strong, so brave, so selfless. Korra spun out with a gust of wind, and her lips curled up as she landed and bowed for her audience. She laughed as Bolin applauded her. Her grin was beautiful, and with the sun shining down on them, Korra truly glowed.
Asami squeezed Mako's hand. "Wow. She's amazing, i

He shouldn't feel this way about her now; he shouldn't get these knots in his stomach thinking about her, but he did, he did. And even though he'd lived on Air Temple Island, his heart was racing as he walked up the steps that led to the set of buildings high up on the hill. The fingers that held the bouquet of pink flowers he had gotten for her as an afterthought were shaking. He felt like a boy. Foolish, ridiculous. He just couldn't help it, though.
He'd missed Korra so much.
After spending all that time together, those precious few days and those limited nights down in the South Pole when they had finally let all their walls down, having not seen her in so long was painful. Those days were almost a dream to him thinking about it now. His memory was clear, however, and he knew it hadn't been just a fantasy. It was real: walking around at night in the snow, listening to Korra share stories of her childhood, showing him all her favorite places,

Obviously he'd been angry before. He'd been angry many times in his life, but he always kept himself in check. He tried to stay calm when he was mad, because there were things that could be said or things that could be done that he knew he would want to take back after the fact. Just because he demonstrated some self-control on a regular basis did not mean that he could not be angry. He kept it hidden, but it was there, bubbling below the surface, begging to become realized.
He'd been angry with Hiroshi when he discovered who he really was, when he discovered all the lies and deceit that he had wrapped himself up in to hide from Asami and Mako and the world his true loyalties.
He'd been angry with Bolin whenever he was childish or immature or ran into trouble without thinking of the consequences wrought upon the two of them. It had taken a long time for Mako to forgive Bo

She whizzed past blurs of light, reaching out for somebody, something, nobody at all. Stars. Darkness seeped everywhere, into everything. She cried out but her voice was smothered by the cosmos as she tumbled down, through, into.
Her descent slowed, and her body righted itself, toes making contact with some kind of surface. It was invisible. All was stars and all was dark. She breathed in the colors, heard the shine, tasted home. She looked up and saw herself, huge and beautiful and terrifying, eyes glowing white, brighter than any sun.
"Korra. We finally meet."
She knew that voice. It felt like she was speaking to herself in her own voice, but it was definitely male. Recognizable and unfamiliar all at once. She turned to the speaker. They'd never met, but she knew him. A man stood far from her, his features hazy, but she could make out one thing. A tattooed arrow, brilliantly white.
Korra jolted awake with a soft gasp.

But still it unnerved him when he watched Korra walk alone toward the forest, rubbing the muscles in her neck, trying to take her pain away. He watched as the fingers of her other hand ran across the bark of a tree, and he watched as she looked around and watched as she disappeared into the shadows. She, however, had not seen him watching her.
So he followed.
He'd been keeping an eye on her ever since that night, since they'd found her cold and broken and alone save Naga. They took her home so she could recover before they planned their next move. Mako had carried her to her room and laid her down on her bed, and she'd exploded with angry protestations about how she had no time for sleeping and she needed to figure out what to do and why wouldn't they let her get up? Mako himself had volunteered to wait until she fell asleep, to make sure she wasn't going to bolt up and hurt herself.
That first nigh

"I think so." He said before taking a sip from his bottled water.
Korra's eyes widened as she scanned his list. "This is over a hundred people."
"First of all, how do you know all these people? And secondly, we can't afford all these people."
"Think about it differently." He said. "More people equal more gifts."
Korra and Mako were currently at their home, making guest lists and going over them in anticipation for their wedding day. They had been engaged for just a few months and both were pretty eager about the wedding. To prepare for it, they decided to spend this day going over a few things. They started off with the guest list since they figured that could be done pretty easily. They were mistaken of course
Mako moved closer on the couch to Korra and stretched out his legs. He flashed a smile at her as he drank his water again.
Korra smiled but shook head. "No Mako, that won't work; some of these people have to go."

"And I still don't see why I shouldn't have." She retorted.
"You're cheating," Mako continued to complain about his fiancée's attire. "That's not fair."
"Cheating?" Korra said as if she never heard the word before. "Bolin, what is he talking about?"
"I don't know," The earth bender chuckled. "but I think he might be jealous already."
Korra, Mako and Bolin were sitting in Bender's Palace, their local restaurant, waiting for Tahno and Asami to arrive. The night before, the engaged couple called their ex's and both happily agreed to get together. The plan was to eat and talk for half an hour or so and then afterwards they'd all go to see a movie.
Korra and Mako both agreed it'd be a good idea to bring Bolin along, that way he wouldn't be lonely and he could keep everything going fine just in case there was any tension. That's the one thing that remained the same with him over the many years; his fun-loving, optimistic and funny

Bolin took notice that Korra was tapping her hands together somewhat aggressively and that his brother had a tight grip on the steering wheel. And he wasn't too much liking the sharp and quick turns Mako was making. Maybe it was time for the earth bender to work his magic and better their moods.
"So Pabu told me this really funny joke not too long ago "
The Avatar spoke suddenly. "On and off the field, Mako? What was that about?"
"Me?" Mako turned to her with the same aggressiveness. "What about your 'private lessons' with Tahno?"
Or maybe it was time for Bolin to just sit back and relax for now
Korra blushed. "He was just teaching me Pro-bending."
"Yeah, I bet he is a pro at bending bending people over."

Korra shook her head and crossed her arms to emphasize how appalled and against the idea she was that Bolin just suggested. She started to walk away, done with the conversation but her earth bending friend ran to stop her.
He put his hand on her shoulder. "Come on Korra, be open minded about this. We'll make all the money we need for the Championship Match and more. It won't be that bad and how else can we do that?"
"I don't know, but I do know I'd sooner dip myself hot butter and walk on a tightrope over room full of angry Boar-Q-Pine's before I do that." Korra thought about what she said and then frowned. "Hopefully it won't have to come to that "
Bolin smiled but then sighed heavily; his idea wasn't that bad right? Right maybe it was just the way he approached her about it. He replayed the situation in his head quickly.
Bolin ran in the training room and yelled happily, "I got it!"

It was early in the morning and she was still half asleep. It took everything in her power not to go right back to sleep once she first woke up. But she had to do this. She had to win the money for the Championship and she had to make Mako eat his words.
"You're late." Was the firebenders response, who was sitting on a bench with his arms folded and a frown on his face.
"Wow, I love that greeting I just received; it made me feel so welcome."
"Bolin told you to be here at 6:00 and it's now going on 6:20."
"That's because I was sleeping like all normal people should be doing at this hour why am I even here this early? I told you two before mornings are evil "
"Well Korra, I'd imagine turning you into a girl is going to take a lot of time and energy."
"Turning me into a girl?" Korra narrowed her eyes. "What am I? A grown man?"
Mako rolled his eyes. "Don't over exagge

How could it be?
How could she die?
No, it couldn't be.
All these questions and more formed in Korra's head as she analyzed the old woman's still body lying on the bed. When she came home from practicing with Mako and Bolin, this was not the news she expected see. She walked in expecting to hear Tenzin nag and/or explain to her how she was neglecting to meditate. Not see him hovered over his mother's body with red eyes and tear stains on his cheeks. It didn't make sense and Korra refused to believe the water bending legend had passed on.
"No, Tenzin you're making a mistake. She's just sleeping."
Tenzin closed his eyes. "She was Korra, she was."
"She still is!"
The 17 year old was quickly getting upset with Tenzin for acting the way he was when all Katara was doing was resting.
"Korra, calm down." Mako, who stood on the left side of her next to his brother, ordered.
Her teammates had come back to the island with her this time, upon Korra's request

Korra looked at smiling earth bender that was jogging over to her as she entered the training room. It was 6 in the morning; Korra couldn't understand why or how he was so happy and lively. She was too sleepy to feel anything beside distress that she to be there. Now Mako on the other hand, he seemed to be feeling the same way as Korra. He was sitting on the same bench he was yesterday, with tired eyes and his usual frown on.
"Good morning, Bolin." The Avatar said in a low voice, barely audible.
"Are you excited about day 2 of your Miss Republic City girly training?" He asked once he reached her.
"Ecstatic. Can't you tell by the look on my face?"
"Well to be honest you look sleepy but today's activities are going to wake you right up."
"I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing."
"A good thing, trust me." Bolin explained with an innocent face. "Today's agenda consists of your girly lesion, finding your talent and a few sample questions. Then it's over, nothing
