My past, it haunts me in my dreams,
The nightmare starts and it won't leave.
Curl up in the cold and darkness
Blankets protect me, be my harness,
It begins with a shadow that comes for us all,
Someone catch me, for I will surely fall,
And I will wake from my slumber
And my head will spin and I will wonder
If when I woke, if you woke too,
If there's a bond between me and you,
If I cry, do you weep?
When I get weary, do you sleep?
If I am broken and come undone
