NOTE: If you're too impatient to wait for it to load, just right-click and hit "forward". It'll take you to the scene section, but then you can just jump to the first scene from there...
It's been a really long time since I've written a complete story, manga-type thingy... Read at your own risk. All three parts combined make this story over 500 slides long. Most of these drawings are doodles... I just wanted to get this story out of my head. And yes, many of the events are very unrealistic. This is a work of fiction, people.
Give it a while to load... there are a lot of .mp3 files...
Watch your volume! ... Especially if you're wearing headphones. Some of these songs are loud, some of them are soft. Just a fair warning so that hopefully nobody blows their eardrums out.
So this is a list of all the songs used in Xolga and Mr. Toko. Keep in mind that all of these but "Astronauts" are the full, unedited version so they may sound a little different than what you heard in the game.
When you click on the download button, your computer should automatically download the file and it'll show up in the place where ever you set your downloads to go to. But for "Astronauts" there's a "download" button on the page that pops up when you try to download them. If your internet's being a butt, you can look up the titles and download directly from this site, excluding "Astronauts".
What is Platcore?! Well Platcore is a platformer/avoid style of gameplay, you play as a Platbot which is a testing robot for Platcore, and Platcore will be using you to test out their newest products, which come in the form of things which aren't exactly your friend (Lasers, turrets, even bigger lasers, and evil things!). You play in a test chamber and your sole aim is to stay alive and survive the testing procedures, remember though, your robot is dispensable so there are MANY robots to play as if yours gets destroyed.
The games soundtrack is synced up to the Platcore AI, so when the soundtrack goes boom, something else is going boom, and it's likely to hit you in the face.
I am aware of the flaws of the game. but we've reserved all ideas and improvement for the sequel in the future.
part of the issue was that we had over-developed, took too long and were not aware of each other's plans and implementations. so in the end alot of ideas and concepts were cut out or removed due to incompatibility to the engine's code or what was done on it.
all of this will hopefully be address in the possible sequel to platcore in the future.
my personal opinion? I'm not satisfied on how it turned out, but we spend a long time developing it, so have to move on and continue working on our new projects.
heres a clip of a result of an entire day's work of a frame by frame sequence.
theres a reason why I choosed lucario back when I started pkmnhunter, not because hes famous and well known by the fans and etc, its because his design is within the "simple but yet detailed" zone of design.
Simple cause he is easily drawn yet, has enough details on his body that it easily shows his body motion and identifiable body parts.
in this scene, hes running up towards the enemy pokemon which is using its psychic powers to hurl various objects towards him in an attempt to stop him.
More so those people saying it needs a DD, that would be a dream come true and a first for me .
It has made it to 39th and is on the second page! for the most popular in the last 24 hours.. I think thats the best anything of mine has ever done
I WILL get round to thanking you all individually for favs and replying to comments when I can.
(Have now thanks every fav individually..... and breathe).
Its FINALLY done YAYA.
This thing is some 200 + layers of HELL, and if my computer could hate me right now I think it would, I will NEVER use a 5000 x 5450 pixel photoshop file as my working source file for animating ... hehe.
It has taken upards of two months to find the time and learn a few new things to complete this and I'M SO FREAKING GLAD IT's DONE!!.
okay, late in the night, lot's of caffeine holding drinks, and after a long boring workday, i suddenly wondered something about villains..
excuse the horrible art, it's just a short break between my big movies, again, hope the joke makes up for it
Man, noticed in those stupid movie based videogames, the cutscenes are usually more confusing then clear?
like in LOTR return of the king:
*in a cave*
Gandalf: to sauromans tower!
*on sauramans roof*
Sauruman: Wormtongue you are my slave!!
*shows photo of angry worm tongue
Shows pohto of dead sauruman*
*in the forest*
Gandalf: Let's go!
Anyway, one stupid game cut scene, the infamous shrieking shag scene in harry potter 3, begged for a quick spoof, so voila ^^
warning, movie is super fast
Adam Phillips, the creator of Bitey of Brakenwood went in for heart surgery a few days ago.
Someone over at the BiteyCastle effects academy (which is taught by Adam) suggested that we take the stuff that we've learned so far and somehow incorporate a heart for Adam. This is what I came up with.
So there's this super cool animator girl In 2012 I helped her out with special effects animation for her film that she hasn't made public just yet. This is some of the stuff I drew. Whenever it finishes going through festivals and she posts it online, I encourage you all to check it out. She's amazing.
Phew, been a while since I posted some music, hasn't it?
A tentative song for Oneshot, an RPG maker game my friend Mat and I are making. (I don't think I've ever shown it here but we've been working on concept and worldbuilding stuff for a couple of months now. Here's the tag on my tumblr:
