In the meantime, allow me to bring this here update to your attention. Originally posted on my website over a week ago, it details a few rather sudden (and yet, months in the making) changes to my life that may or may not have some impact on Marauder Shields as well. Here we go, ladies and gents:

My new webcomic series coming to The Escapist! If you’re one of the folks that kept a close watch on my time expenditures over the past six months, you might’ve noticed a certain super-secret project popping up now and then, most prominently around Christmas time. I kept it pretty low-profile for a while, mainly not to provide any more evidence that I am an overoptimistic fool that doesn’t know his ass from his forehead – because, seriously, if you’ve been around here for more than a month, you know I’ve provided enough evidence of that already. My new webcomic series coming to The Escapist! in Personal More Like This
As of yesterday, though, it seems said super-secret project is finally getting some traction – as in: smiles being issued, handshakes exchanged, pens touching the paper, all the jazz. It’s a definite game-changer for myself — and I really couldn’t wait to, at the very least, tell you guys it’s happening!
And, thusly, without further ado, I’m batshit excited to announce that I shall be working with the awesome fo

Emily asked me about the origin of our little series, about the reasoning behind its creation, about my creative processes and views on various topics, ranging from the challenges of transforming text to multimedia, to the nature of interactions between writers and their audiences. I also gave out a bit of writing advice and shared my thoughts on a possibility of creating my own original series, back when it was a thought that I kept flip-floppily rethinking every
My review of the Citadel DLCThe Citadel DLC is widely considered to be the best piece of DLC of the entire Mass Effect trilogy (yes, it's actually better reviewed than ME2's Lair of the Shadow Broker). Well, it's never easy with me, is it now?
I present to you my lengthy review of the Citadel DLC, listing and explaining the reasons why it just didn't click for me, why it didn't work as well as it did for most of you guys, statistics be damned. Please be aware that this is but my opinion, nothing more, nothing less - no need to start flame wars because of it.

At the Turn of the TideAs I am now rewriting a few lines for Episode 40, I look back at the last few months and cannot help myself but to issue a smile, complimented by a cheerfully raised eyebrow and a massive discharge of endorphins by my pituitary gland. We have arrived at our mid-season finale with style, if I may say so myself. The path wasn't always easy, one had to endure quite a bit of stress, invest massive amounts of time, handle not only respect and love, but also obsessive hate, ignorance and a plethora of quite colorful misunderstandings, stemming mostly from my willingness to honestly express my opinions, ignoring whether or not they fit into one of the well-defined thought molds available. At the Turn of the Tide in Personal More Like This

After getting out of a slump, I wanted to share this story of something I went through a few years back. Bit of a read, but thanks for sticking through it
As you know, Comic-Con is arriving and as I prepare for it, I grow more and more anticipated with anxiety/joy in regards to the re-release of Last Man Standing.
As long, challenging, and mind-opening the creation of LMS was, something really stuck with me.
Before I had created LMS, I wanted to work for WETA Workshop. To those that don't know them, they've created props, designs, sets, costumes, and more for The Lord of the Rings, Avatar, District-9, Elysium, The Hobbit and many more films.
I was obsessed and inspired with them. The creator, Richard Taylor was always a huge inspiration to me. After viewing supplements on the Extended Editions of The Lord of the Rings DVDS, I knew right there: I HAD TO WORK FOR THEM.
So I al

Hello!Back from the dead.Hello! in Personal More Like This
I've kinda disappeared for a bit, and wanted to write a little journal why I've left Facebook, Twitter and kind of my online persona. If you care to read, down below you will find my reasons. I hope you're well, and will try to post more art soon. Feel free to discuss below your opinions on the matter, and I'll try to reply. My answer goes far beyond "I've just been busy!" and maybe you too will connect with how I've felt:
The other day I received an email from a fellow follower of my work, asking the question of why I left Facebook. Not that everyone should know my daily activities, but if you haven't noticed, a couple of months ago I had deleted my FB in order to focus on my property LMS, as it's shaping up for film, and the next book in the series, LMS: Welcome to America
Now before I continue, this is strictly my opinion. I know people like to get angry online, so if you disagree with it, you have every right to

Newton's First LawAn essay that I wrote the other day for the Interdisciplinary Studies application explains clearly why Gaming/Animation is not a suitable or relevant area of study for me and why it would be more beneficial to me to study Art (Illustration), (Creative) Writing, and Spanish together as one major. Free Time Machine Model
Free to download and use 3D model of the time machine as seen in the preview, with all required scene/textures for 3dsmax 2012.
This model took me about a year and a half to research, and over one hundred hours to model in Max,
It contains over 2700 unique parts, everything is UVW mapped.
All included textures are 500-1000px or more, sufficient for most HD renders, but easily swappable for higher resolution ones, since there actually not that many of them.
Though you will find unnamed objects, everything is grouped in an intuitive manor so you shouldn't have any issues navigating the model i
Project L.R.V. complete, finally. So, it is done at last, since my attempt to share it with Cebas FinalRender textures was a dismal failure, now completely re-textured from scratch with Max's standard textures, it could have looked better with other textures, but i set-up standard ones this time to maximise compatibility with other renderers. Though the scene file is set to use mental ray i doubt you will have to re-texture if you switch to any other renderer.Project L.R.V. complete, finally. in Personal More Like This
Preview shots are from the file included, and you will find the model fully textured with all required maps included in the .RAR download. (Click image below).
Though i tried to stay as close to the look of the original LRV as possible, a lack of good reference images means this is at best only a good likeness of the original, and not really accurate in a scientific sense.
Your welcome to use it for free, so long as you credit me as this models maker when publishing any work containing it.
Testing showed renders were still looking good at sizes around 8K
Trying something new: Battle MapHey guys, the next piece I'll be doing is a 2-D "battle map" of the solar system using a grid, a bit like for an actual board game. The main focus will, however, be on the lighting of the piece and on me trying to get a good variety of space dust, ice asteroids and normal asteroids into the piece, as well as guaranteeing that each planet's / each zone's placement make sense on the "playing field".Trying something new: Battle Map in Personal More Like This
