"Explicit Pornography"?! Aw, jeez, guys. You must have the worst collection of porn on the planet to think that was explicit.
A 90s Rochelle Swanson outing was more explicit that that pic, and that stuff got aired, uncut, on terrestrial UK TV (god bless you Channel 5, you made the young Jack jolly).
I believe that, for something to be labelled "explicit", SOMETHING must be visibly going in SOMEWHERE. Such was not the case in the offending image,
scheduleyou probably noticed that last 2 months have been a clusterf#$k. and so will January.schedule in Personal More Like This
my work schedule was beyond overloaded, and this January i have to finish my last issue of the artifacts comic, while pushing the issue 1 of aphrodite for top cow parallel with ravine and sunstone.
this January is where my schedule cleans up very nicely and then i can get to spamming stuff oldschool style.
also.. just successfully converted entire first chapter of sunstone to print format ..and ended up 71 pages. since i will be publishing printed versions that contain 2 chapters per issue... the damn book will be the size of ravine...
i guess im a sucker for the graphic novel format.
now, unlike ravine, sunstone will be available here in its entirety. printed version will have revised and improved writing and grammar + polished art. so that those who decide to buy the book ...don't feel ripped off XD
i will probably post another strip fairly soon, but the real fun starts in february
sunstone review XDgotta plug this one, this guy reviews webcomics, and in all honesty i never really thought sunstone would ever be reviewed there.sunstone review XD in Personal More Like This
dunno, just always had a mental idea of a webcomic being something with it's own site XD
anyhooo, here is the video review i must say i had a few good laughs XD
so this february...coming soon to deviantart near you XDso this february... in Personal More Like This

updatesokay, so to update yall on some scheduling.updates in Personal More Like This
we had 2 bad months here as far as technology is concerned, bertween my wife's computer being a little primadonna and my health being a bit iffy my schedule ended up being stockpiled and very crowded.
i have by the end of july to submit issue 2 or ravine to printer for it's august release, alongside that there is aphrodite 9 monthly issues to handle.
after im done with the new issue of aphrodite i will finish 2 strips, and then after san diego comic con my schedule will finally be free. from then on you will see aaaaalot more sunstone, quite frequently, and a definite announcement of book 1 print
till then i will try to drop in some cool stuff, pics and shorts just so ya know i haven't forgotten about you all XD
anyhoo back to work
new strips and updateswill be coming soon. the ending of the chapter is a complex thing to make as i feel that it needs to end on that high note, and i have it all ready, cept the very last 3strips will be a bitch to draw XD...a cool, fun yet complicated storytelling idea to makenew strips and updates in Personal More Like This
but it will be worth it.
and then chapter 4 which will be funny sexy and dramatic... so..yknow...like the previous ones... well maaaybe with a bit more sexy and funny but with a strong dramatic moment and a very powerful payoff...so..cant wait
also almost done with reformatting of book 1 of sunstone for print, it will be about the same size as ravine, same pagecount and will consist of first 2 chapters.
artwork for print will be upgraded on quite a few places, and dialogues rewritten and streamlined by my partner on ravine ron marz, so te printed version will read oh so smoothly
of course, the themes ideas and everything else will remain the same , only will be better worded
updates on new strips and print publishingso, time for some updates.updates on new strips and print publishing in Personal More Like This
next week i will be posting the next strip and possibly another one. , by this i mean the next official chapter continuation. before that there is an alan ministrip i'm working on that is just.. ..well.. something nice, ull see not trolling this time XD
now , on publishing.
so far i have gotten a bunch of offers by publishers so that is not twhat is delaying it. personally i have my own preferance so i will probably take that road.
why it is still not out?
simple. going from the webcomic to standard comic format required a lot of work in creative cropping and reformatting.
this brought with itself a problem with making the writing fit.
this was an impossible task which required me to rewrite the whole damn thing.
flow has been significantly improved. small errors in continuity fixed,(like ally telling lisa that the bathroom is third door on the left when it is actually the second door... SHADDAP THAT'S IMPORTANT!)

regarding the slow outputthese last six or so months you have noticed my output here was less than impressiveregarding the slow output in Personal More Like This
there has been a family health crisis which i will not explain in details , but suffice to say it caused certain expenses to stockpile so i had to focus on paid work.
so fat this situation seems to be calming down to an extent but it is not likely something that will simply pass
so i can not guarantee a vast improvement in the near future.
i do not need anything from anyone i am okay, i am not here to ask but simply to explain so calm down as i can see already some of you there lovingly throwing money at the screens ...braking screens..and then blaming me for more broken screens XD
new sunstone is coming tomorrow, i thought i would have it done today but the sheer amount of people in the next strip kinda slowed down the process so yes, tomorrow the new strip cometh, and then the one after it should be done within a week or so given that it is a breaking point and a very impor

I thought I was a good artist before I was. I acted like a professional before I was. I put out my first instructional video before I started working professionally. I was working professionally when I didn't know what I was doing. I acted like an extrovert when I was an introvert. I acted like a businessperson when I hadn't made a dime. I acted like a marketer when I hadn't sold anything.

Premium Content PublishingSo DA has gone and launched a new feature called Premium Content Publishing.Premium Content Publishing in Personal More Like This
Basically it allows you to sell your artwork and products such as brushes, stock photos.. well whatever, via DA using the points system to earn real money ... eventually. Along the way DA takes a 20% cut of the sales price. (Hey - gotta finance that private island somehow!! --> http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&global=1&qA+island#/d1wlypl)
So, the way it goes is that you upload your high res art file via sta.sh and then offer it for download. A person who wants to buy it, pays you in DA points for which you can then get converted into paypal money (after 14 days) and eventually you can access via paypal into real money in your bank account.... sounds great huh?!!
Ok, now lets consider the fees and costs of this thing..
First off a 20% cut is VERY VERY high. I've done some looking around and other art sales sites take a 3 - 10% commission... not 20.
Secondly DA also makes more money by making people
Short, Sad Life Left - Part 2"H-hello," Wheatley said nervously as he slid his way into GLaDOS's chamber. "So you said you wanted to see me, and I thought, why not? Well, actually, it was more like that I thought I should get down here. Now. Because otherwise I might wind up in space again, and, ah, space, didn't like that. Not one bit."Short, Sad Life Left - Part 2 in General Fiction More Like This
"What an intriguing idea," GLaDOS said, chuckling as he flinched. "It would certainly be much quieter if you were to be in space again."
"No!" he said. "No, I'll be quiet, I promise!"
"Of course you won't be," she replied. "But that is not why you are here. In approximately forty-eight hours, the woman in the infirmary will awaken. At that point, you are to sedate her and alert me so that I may move her to a testing track."
" What?" he asked, not sure he'd heard her correctly. "You want me to what?"
"Sedate her and alert me once you have done so," she sighed. "This is a simple concept, you moron. Try to grasp it."
He bit back the impulse to inform her that he was not a moron.
Short, Sad Life Left - Part 5The elevator landed as Chell finished her cake. She heard it coming and looked up at it, hardly daring to believe that GLaDOS was actually going to let her go again.Short, Sad Life Left - Part 5 in General Fiction More Like This
"There," GLaDOS said, and was it Chell, or did she sound bitter? "I suppose you're going to leave now. And that's just fine with me. I hope never to see you again."
Chell stood up. "Thanks for everything, GLaDOS."
"Just go," the computer said. "Live out your short, sad life somewhere far away from here. Don't ever think about me or this facility again."
"Now who's being melodramatic?" Chell asked with a chuckle. GLaDOS's optic narrowed into a glare.
Turning around, Chell began heading for the elevator. When she was about halfway there, she paused and turned back to look at the AI.
"What are you doing?" GLaDOS asked. "I told you to leave. Now."
"I still have the Companion Cube," Chell said.
"Yes, you do. But I fail to see how that is relevant in any way, shape, or form."
Chell shrugged. "I don't know how do those
Short, Sad Life Left - Part 4"That you cake," was all Chell could manage as she stared at it. "But you what?"Short, Sad Life Left - Part 4 in General Fiction More Like This
"Thank you for placing the portal gun on the ground," GLaDOS said. A claw picked it up and moved it out of Chell's sight range. "The test is now over, and you have passed. This is your victory cake. Congratulations."
For a moment, all Chell could do was stare with her mouth hanging open, but then she found her voice. "There's no way I'm going anywhere near that cake."
GLaDOS looked offended. "I baked it especially for you. I promise that it contains nothing harmful or in any way detrimental to your health."
"I you you baked me cake," Chell said, staring at it. "Why? Why would you bake me cake? That doesn't make any what?"
"It is your victory cake," GLaDOS repeated. "Feel free to begin consuming it at any time."
Chell stared at her for a moment, expression untrusting. There were a lot of things that could be wrong with that cake. It could be filled with neuro

The tests were easy. So easy, in fact, that Chell figured Wheatley would be able to do them without any trouble. It had only been about an hour since she had begun testing, and she was already up to the seventeenth chamber. She was curious about what was going onin place of toxic water, there were pits she could portal out of, and there were no turrets anywhere to be foundand she wanted to ask, but true to form, she was remaining silent. On the other hand, GLaDOS's usual snarky comments were nowhere to be found.
"Very good," she told Chell as she placed the cube on the button. And that was it. No "Oh, there's LOTS of room here for comments," no "You're doing VERY well." The only thing Chell could figure was that either her death threat had managed to scare the computer, or she'd somehow managed to reach Caroline.
Either way was fine with her.

The testing track GLaDOS had Chell running had been designed years ago for an Aperture Science event called "Bring Your Daug

The doctors didn't know why Chell was sick, why her skeleton was deteriorating at an accelerated rate, but she herself knew perfectly well: it was the repulsion gel, the goddamned repulsion gel. The prerecorded voice had warned her not to get covered in itof course, that was about five minutes too late. She'd managed to wash it off in a stream of water several chambers later, but by then it had already done its damage.
Now, six months later, she was dying. She knew that, and she knew that she didn't have very much time left. What a strange twist of fate it was that she'd survived GLaDOS's testing been released, evenonly to have it kill her when she was safely away from all things Aperture.
Well, that wasn't entirely true. While she had burned the official Aperture clothing she was wearing when GLaDOS let her go, Chell had kept the Companion Cube. She didn't know why, but for some reason, it still comforted her. So even in this hospital room at what she knew
Women ArtistsThe other day, I attempted to put together a huge list of some professional and semi-pro women artists over on my tumblr, because it seems like too often women get overlooked when it comes to being honored and recognized. This year, I was incredibly honored to be nominated for a Hugo award in the Best Professional Artist category, but I was a little shocked to find out there hadn’t been another woman nominated in that category since Rowena Morrill in 1986. That’s more than a little ridiculous, considering there are so many women artists out there who are all amazing, who offer unique points of view and design solutions, and who need more visibility and recognition. While putting this list together, I was really excited to find tons of new artists I'd never heard of before.Women Artists in Personal More Like This
