Mi'Amore's LessonThe doors were tall. Taller than any doors she had ever seen before. They were inscribed on either side with gold-trimmed markings. On the left a mark of a pegasi. And on the right, a unicorn. But even the sheer size of that door was nothing compared to the building it was attached to. The royal palace of Canterlot. She'd always seen it from afar, but never this close. Given recent events, it was clear she'd be seeing a lot more of it in future.Mi'Amore's Lesson in Short Stories More Like This
Mi'Amore Cadenza her parents had named her. Cadence as she preferred to be called. A young filly, a child. Her hair tied back into a ponytail. A filly who had no idea how much her life was about to change.
It had been merely a day since the letter had arrived from the palace. She'd only reached schooling age but rather than having arrangements made to attend some local school, that letter had arrived instead. Her family had read it several times over, with looks of both pride and concern on their faces. They'd explained to her what it meant, th

Our episode begins in the city of Canterlot, where we see Princess Celestia singing some documents in her throne room. A guard bursts in to inform her that "it" has returned. A Canterlot Wedding - Missing ScenesThe ponies were all hard at work. The recent attack brought about by the unexpected and hitherto unknown changelings and their Queen, Chrysalis, had left much of the city damaged. By some miracle there had been no casualties, only a few injuries here and there. Of course it made sense. The changelings were, after all, using the ponies as a food source. It made no sense that they'd want them harmed.
Ponies all about the capital were grateful that the attack had left only structural damage. Damage which was easily rectified. But for one lone unicorns, the damage was far deeper.
Walking along the red carpet of the main hall of the Canterlot royal palace, Captain Shining Armour was looking uncharacteristically fo
The HoneymoonOn and one their journey took them. It had been hours since they'd left the gates of Canterlot and still their trip had not come to a stop. Wherever it was that her aunt had planned for them, it was clearly out of anyone's way.The Honeymoon in Short Stories More Like This
Princess Cadence, still in her wedding gown and hairstyle, was sitting comfortable in her wedding carriage. Her mind brimming with ideas about where it was they might be going.
She looked out of the window of her carriage, looking upon the countryside as they passed by. Tall grassy hills. Rivers and streams which glistened in the moonlight. It was without a doubt, a beautiful sight. She'd spent much of her life travelling around Equestria, visiting many places. But she'd never taken enough time to simple enjoy the places around her. Here thought, she had plenty of time to do so.
And the aforementioned moon was also impressive to behold. Auntie Luna had certainly outdone herself tonight. No doubt in an attempt to make their night perfect. It was something she kne
The Best Night Ever - Missing SceneThe night was young and the stars were just coming out. The royal city of Canterlot glistened in the light of the moon and the stars. For this night, was the Grand Galloping Gala. One of the most anticipated events of the year. Everypony worth their salt wanted to be invited to this prestigious event. A time when the elite of Canterlot gathered in one place. Those found at this celebration truly were the best of the best. The cream of the crop. An event that any single person would give their own right hoof to be a part of.
And he hated every minute of it.
Shining Armour, Captain of the Equestrian royal guard, stood there, decked in his usual purple armour, alongside two of his guardsmen, both unicorns, and watched the new arrivals to the party step up the city steps one by one. It was among his duties as captain to oversee that security for such a newsworthy event ran smoothly. Of course as the c
Twilight's regretShe had worked hard this week. As much as she'd grown used to it, she still felt tired at the end of every day. Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Equestria. It had been many years since she had ascended to the role of Princess, becoming an alicorn in the process, and still the change had never stopped shocking her. The level of magic she had been able to achieve since her transformation was astounding. And not only that, but ponies from far and wide came to view her as a teacher. It brought a smile on her face to see young colts and fillies come to ask her questions and learn from her. It reminded her very much of how she was when she was their age, learning from her own mentor.Twilight's regret in Short Stories More Like This
But it was not merely new experiences that this title had afforded her. In her years since her coronation, she had also experienced many physical changes that came with being an alicorn. The most obvious of which was, of course, her size. She had grown quite tall, towering over almost any other pony in Equestria, m

It wasn't possible, she told herself. They were meant to win. They HAD to win! They couldn't just fail like this. SHE couldn't just fail like this. And yet, that was exactly what had happened. Twilight Sparkle, the fourth alicorn Princess of Equestria, was currently not in that world, but the world of humans, here at the request of her friends to deal with a new menace that had risen to threaten this place. Like with every other threat she had faced in her life, she'd tried to thwart it, hoping that working would her friends would save the day and make good triumph over evil.
But that is not what happened.

Canterlot High was, on most days, a fairly busy place, and given recent events, it had been even busier than most would have expected. But now, those events had passed, and things were finally getting back to normal for the students. And so here they were, in the school cafeteria, all occupying themselves with their usual activities, eating their lunches, hanging out with their friends and generally just enjoying the peace of the day.
But there were those among them that were not so happy. For there, sitting in a somewhat neglected corner of the cafeteria, was a trio of girls, all sitting solemnly around the same table. These girls had, until recently, been known as the Dazzlings, a group that had participated in the recent "battle of the bands" that the school had played host to. But that event had merely been a cover for the girls' true plans, for these three were no mere students, and more importantly, they were not even truly human.
