Garden Fresh series investigates the shifting boundaries between humans and animals in today’s environment and the complex relationship between art and nature. It is like a fable about a journey undertaken by the animals when they venture into our daily lives. The animals are confronted by a new reality that is in conflict with their natural habits and habitats.

At the same time, when we see these ‘zoo-trapped’ animals in supermarkets, their most outstanding characteristics are isolated as their ‘only’ characteristics. The animals are stripped of their own identities and are used as empty vessels to be filled with the human drama of parody, satire and allegory. We cannot help but see animals from a human vantage point, and therefore in some sense all the works in the present exhibition are actually about us.

Early morning hoping to catch the sunrise over the city.
Everyone else ([link] and [link]) was at the other side of the bridge I was on, watching the sky.
This is one of 3 images I'll be submiting to the [C]Spaces exhibit this month, hopefully one of them will win me some money, first prize is $1,000!!

Scanned a negative of Fuji Reala, 6x6, shot on my Bronica SQ-Ai with a 80mm Zenzanon S.

EDIT: Didn't win, but I did update the picture with a scan from the negative with an Imacon 363, so much sharper, so much better color rendition.
Compare with the old one here, [link] the Imacons are simply amazing.

Shot south of the city, I believe it was near or in Ford Heights.
Cold and windy as hell, but quite beautiful.

Scan from Reala 120.
Shot on a Bronica SQ-Ai with an 80mm S.
Minor adjustments in PS.

Updated with a new sharper scan and more true-to-print colors.

Home. Jerusalem, Israel.
This is my street.
the parking beneath my window
the kids ridin' on their bikes
the birds flyin' up-n-down
Jerusalem-stones and trees here and there.

I just LOVE this place. so quite, so warm.
So much HOME.

Panorama made from more than 30 shots.
Canon A620, 7.2MGP - before converting into "Planet-like": 20108 X 3072 Pixels (!).
