This young girl Indian parakeet whose mother was nearby has found an ant around her own plane tree hole. Look at her tongue as she is about to eat it, looks almost human... :D You can see that she is a juvenile by the size of her tail, compared to an adult size. Indian ring-necked parakeets stay in their tree holes until they reach this size actually. We assume that she has been out quite recently, and returns regularly where she was born. I could see her mom grooming her, petting her, watching and not leaving her :aww:
