so after 2 weeks of practice I feel a little more at ease with the digital painting. i wanted to create an atmosphere of the ending of a journey. A traveller has crossed the canyon and found what he was looking for at the end of the canyon. everybody is free of course to imagine what could be there

Last weekend, I climbed the Mount Fuji with my boyfriend.
It was an incredible experience.
I took a lot of pictures, here is one of them.

my dinner the other night...made myself some beef ramen using nissin instant noodles garlic flavor

added some carrot, tomato, seaweed, spring onion, chicken egg, garlic, beef burger meat, sesame seed, sesame oil and white pepper powder

This was a delicious cupcake. I carried it all the way back to my dorm in 32 degree weather just to get a picture of it..and then eat it.

お粥: okayu in Japanese and "jook" in Cantonese. A simple porridge/congee for those days when you're took sick to cook anything.

Just throw in a handful of rice into chicken or dashi (katsuobushi and konbu boiled together) stock and let it boil until desired consistency. You can add pork or chicken if you want. I added pork that has been marinated with a bit of soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger. If you do add meat, be sure to add it during the last few moments before serving to ensure that they'll be tender. Garnish with green onions if desired.

Omuraisu... one of my most favorite things to make.
