He guessed there were some things he just couldn’t protect himself from. The natural “heating system” in his body from his biotics may have kept him warm, but not even his best biotic shield could protect him from the invisible mini-terrorists that were currently creating havoc in his own system.
The biotic was stubborn though and a little snot hadn’t stopped him before.

"Still why do we have to report to her," Kaiden insisted.
"Aria hold power over the Asari councillor," Shepard said, "during the Reaper invasion she asked the Asari councillor to take care of the fact that she never officially registered coming to the Citadel. The councillor did it like as if she was Aria's slave."

The sun was shining brightly on the bright green field with a tree in the middle of the field atop a small hill. Two girls both about sixteen years old sat under the tree leaning against it. One girl had blue eyes and yellow hair in a pony tail wearing a short greyish-blue denim jacket under which she wore a blue, skin tight jump suit with knee high, high heeled dark blue boots. The other girl had medium length, red hair and wore a black leather jacket and dark denim pants and in her left hand held a red boken loosely. They were looking towards the beautiful blue sky with only a few clouds.
"So who are you hoping will ask you to the dance?" the red haired girl holding a red boken lightly in her hand asked.
"I've been asked by many guys," the girl with a short yellow ponytail said, "but none of them were the person I was wanting to ask me."

From the age of 6 you were trained to be a ruthless killer, taught not to show fear to your enemies. I was one of those kids. One of those kids who would have to fight other kids to the death. It was basically, kill or be killed. This whole thing was run by an Eclipse leader named Tyron. I was one of his favourites, and by favourites I mean more than him betting on me winning a fight. So...hmm...how do I explain this. Jane's going to talk about some stuff in here that was never covered in the games. They discussed biotic amps and ports in the ME codices and how it was a very vulnerable point for a biotic since it was a freaking port into their brain/nervous system and they needed to be careful about showering to keep water away from it and such. But what they NEVER told us is what an amp looks like. At least not in the games, and I couldn't find it on Google either so I made it up. Also, they talk about a lot of the physiological differences between a biotic and non-biotic in the codices but they don't discuss biotics and pregnancy. As my Jane is a biotic--Adept, Spacer, Torfan, mostly Paragon--this was something I had to address. And this piece is where I address it. She'll explain it better in the piece, I promise.
If you've read Third Times the Charm, this piece fits into that time frame.
