This was really fun to draw and is the first request i've had in a while, thanks alex for asking if i don't draw how will i ever get any better! i'm quite happy with how this turned out but i wouldn't have been able to do many of the effects without learning from other deviants sooooo.... THANK YOU GUYS!
This is made for the yearly Pokeswap secret santa event at It's like normal secret santa except each member lists their pokemon and people get the choice to pick one or more pokemon to draw. I had to make a a drawing for and off the pokemon she listed I decided to go with Quilava. Sorry for not making more pokemon but I hope you like it anyway
I changed some stuff before coloring, I'm kinda understanding how to do the shading style I wanted needs more testing. Pushing myself to this "a bit more realistic" style, which is killing me. It's worth it though
SO, Hikari, second member of the yet-to-be-named team, shiny Quilava (I really like the palette of the shiny version ;w; ) I'll go throw myself to bed forever now.
I made so much tweaking and stuff, Goddamn Quilavas
I shall color Rudyard now! and finally start mission 1 for them, with sketched comics cause ain't nobody got time for that. (I need to practice actual comic layout and stuff, before torturing myself with color).
So, apparently something inside of me was not agreeing with my first drawing of Snivy. It was not as well as I expected... So, like 3 days later, I present you a new worthless drawing from me! Hooray! This looks at least somewhat of a good piece. At least it's not tut... If you would not look at my obvious mistakes with collar... and... yea. My friend came an hour ago to me and told me I messed up Snivy's eyes. I don't really see any problems with that, thus I believe him. I am weird. But hey! It does look cheerful! What else do ya all need, right?
