Peter would have probably been hyperventilating by this point just by thinking about it and overanalysing it as usual, but instead he was just not really thinking about anything. His fever had made him disoriented and sleepy, and by the time Alex had arrived at his apartment building, Peter was practically asleep again.
"Okay, this is it," Alex said, turning and looking at Peter with raised eyebrows. Peter looked back at him, not even realising that he was supposed to move right away. Alex shook his head with a smile before leaning over Peter to open the car's door. Peter was forced to reluctantly get out of the car and follow Alex inside his apartment building.

Mirrors from Afar -Chapter 22Peter got home after half an hour, taking advantage of the early time to take a walk around and clear his head. Or at least think calmly without any interruptions. Even after something so abnormal to him, he still felt strangely calm as he walked through the quiet streets until he reached his house. It wasn't particularly cold that night, only a light breeze gently pushing his hair back as he walked. He figured that any other guy would just think of the date he just had, wondering if he had done well, how the goodnight kiss felt yet all he could think about was his best friend. As if he had already forgotten about his outing with Claire. While he was with her he had pushed it to the back of his mind, but now he had no choice but to think about their fight. Now he had to not only worry about his own problems, but worry about his sister's welfare too, both emotional and physical. He was worried. And that worrying was getting him angry. He plays a sport that he despises for the sake of his father's love, and hides his true sexuality from the world, except his two best friends.
He dreams that life was simpler, so that he wouldn't have to hide.
Because, as much as he hides it, he can't escape from himself, or the feelings he has for another man.
A man who can never love him back.
A man who after 11 years has begun to get closer to Peter.
But is it for better, or for worse?
As Peter's life slowly turns upside down, Peter will realize that every wrong decision comes with great consequences.
Things are about to change.
The six year old boy sat on the carpet of his grandparents' house, raising a couple of action figures and making sound effects on his own. "Honestly, Garrus," Lantar Sidonis said shaking his head while the two of them were investigating the cargo they had intercepted. "Do you have a deathwish?"
Looking at the dead mercenaries who were lying haphazardly around the cargo hold Garrus thought about the matter. Was the work he was currently doing a sign that he had a deathwish? It was dangerous, there was no question about that, but was he taking risks to help the others or was he trying to get himself killed? If the answer was later, he wasn't doing very good job at it as he had stayed alive for more than a year while taking down criminal elements of Omega. But on the other hand, when had his job ever ended the way he had planned it?

He had already learned some things about his former turian team member, which made his blood to boil, as it proved Sidonis had indeed sold them out.
"Damn weasel," Garrus cursed, throwing his old, battered armour to the footlocker with too much force. "I'll make you pay for your betrayal."

"Hey, Commander! Check out my copilot!" said Joker as he looked over at EDI.
"Is this why you called me up here? Seriously, Joker?"
"Oh sorry, did I interrupt something?" he snickered.
"Shut up. Anyways, about EDI so she just installed herself into that new body without any help from you?"
"Come on, Commander. Don't you trust me?"
Shepard crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at him.
Joker chuckled, "Okay, let me put it this way: if I knew that EDI was gonna install herself into a sexy robot body, do you honestly think I'd be able to keep quiet about it? Look at that! I would've baked a cake!"
"I am right here, Jeff" said EDI.
"Yes you are, EDI. Yes you are," he sighed.
Shepard laughed, "Wow are you even capable of flying this ship anymore without being completely distracted?"
"Please! I could handle the Normandy with my eyes closed."

Shepard walked along the beach the warm sand under her feet. She walked towards the water letting it rush around her feet and ankles.
"Mommy! Mommy!" shouted a little voice. "Look what I found!"
She turned her head to see her son, a little barefaced tan turian who couldn't be more than four years old, running towards her. He was holding a huge shell in his hands and he extended it out to her.
"Oh wow, it's beautiful baby," she exclaimed.

His face was beaming with pride at his mother's reaction. He turned back and yelled, "Mommy loves it!"
Shepard looked up to see who her son was shouting to. Her eyes locked with the piercing blue eyes of the turian approaching Garrus. He walked up beside her and put his arm around her waist.

Wow, an actual easy mission this time, Shepard thought as she entered the geth's virtual world alone.
Geth fighter squadrons had targeted quarian liveships with attacks that would have a serious impact on their fleet. Shepard, along with the help of Legion and Garrus, had gone to the Geth Comm Hub on Rannoch to disable the server controlling the geth fighters.
Shepard followed the virtual path, disrupting the Reaper code infections along the way and making it to her first data cluster. She cleared out the cluster and then a new path was revealed that led her to the next cluster. She repeated this pattern a few more times until she had finally cleared out all infections. Then she made her way to the access point to exit the virtual world and back to reality where her squad was waiting for her.
Shepard was curious to see what her actions had done as she exited the virtual chamber. Sudd

Our first night in Heaven's Summit Academy was an anxious one. I, personally, barely got a wink of sleep; my nerves getting the better of me throughout the night. Being in a strange place with strange people can do that to anyone, though, I suppose.
Of course, there was also the looming threat of an impending murder to worry about.
Someone would have to be ignorant beyond belief to commit such a crime under such little pressure as this, however. There was no way of knowing if that bear had been telling the truth about letting a murderer run free, and there was also still the chance that if we were patient and calm enough then we could find a way to escape.

Standing in the cockpit with Joker looking out the window, watching the stars streak by in the vast expanse of space, she was lost in thought
"Commander? ....Joker to Shepard .Hello?"
" ..what?" she absently answered still staring out the window.
"Oh nothing, you know, just trying to fly the ship here. Waiting for your orders while the Reapers hunt our ass and Cerberus gets away the usual."

The elevator came to a halt at the Embassy level and opened its doors. Shepard stepped out and headed toward Anderson's office. Her omni-tool blinked and she pulled up the messages one from Gardner with all of the items he needed for the ship, one from Traynor with the location of the florist, one from Dr. Chakwas with the manifest of medical supplies to trade with Tactus and one from her mother. She opened the last one:
I just arrived and got your message from Specialist Traynor. I'll see you in a little while for dinner.
She sighed heavily as she stood in front of Anderson's office door.
Hopefully this doesn't take long.
She pressed the keypad and the doors slid open. Anderson's personal assistant looked up from behind his desk.
"Ah! Commander Shepard! Councilor Anderson is expecting you. Please go on in," he said as he opened the doors to the inner office.

Garrus left Liara's office more frustrated than when he went in. He understood her predicament but that didn't mean that he had to like it far from it but there was nothing he could do about it either. He had kept his word to Shepard and never told a soul about their time together, so he couldn't very well start now.
Shit. Now what?
He could feel the tension throbbing within him. He needed to do something to get rid of it or ..not good. He headed toward the elevator. Perhaps some sim sparring would help. It had before and it had been a while since he had done any no need to really, war was a perfect substitute.
In the docking bay, Vega had set up a corner for just such a purpose. He had even hung up his old punching bag from home. As Garrus got off the elevator he could hear Vega grunting as the rattling chains that held the bag echo throughout the bay.
He rounded the corner. "Vega!"
"Hey, Scars!" Vega huffed out.

He stepped into the elevator, looking at Shepard's cabin as the doors shut and wondering if he was doing the right thing. Her whisper still rang in his head and haunted him. It was no more than a few hours ago that he had agreed to her terms and now he was going behind her back, sneaking off to see what Liara had found. If Liara thought it was important enough for him to see, he couldn't ignore it, could he? Still arguing with himself, he stepped out of the elevator and rounded the corner. Standing in front of her quarters, he weighed the implications of what he was about to do. If he went in, he risked losing what little connection he and Shepard had started to re-build. If not, it might be detrimental to the mission. Things in their lives had a nasty way of popping up

"Yes, I know what you thought Liara," he said roughly as he slowly settled into the chair that just held Shepard.
"What can I do for you Garrus?" she said pleasantly.
He wasn't exactly sure what he wanted from Liara but he knew he wanted answers. Shepard hurrying so quickly from Liara's office alarmed him. He felt he no longer had the right to ask what was wrong. Ever since their meeting on Menae he so desperately wanted to talk to Shepard hear her voice again anything. A few more days had passed, with everyone finally coming to terms with our situation, to Monokuma’s clear dismay. Celeste, unfortunately, fell ill once again, but all of the girls did what they could to help her. We were helping each other up and keeping our spirits high. Everyone kept up with their duties and everything seemed right as rain.
Or rather, it would, had it not been for the fact I was stumped. I was having a very difficult time thinking of a way out. Could we use one of the pillars in the art room as a battering ram and tear down a wall? No, it was too heavy for even Mondo and Sakura combined. Can we tear the metal off the windows and escape through there? No, the metal was too strong to tear off by hand and there were no tools that could take out the bolts. The main door? Within about five minutes after that announcement, everyone was at the pool where Sakura, Sayaka and I found Aoi’s dead body. While waiting for the others, Sayaka explained to me that the announcement would come on whenever a body was discovered by three or more people. No one took the news well, but it was obvious who took it the worst.
“Whoever killed Hina will not need to worry about Monokuma executing them. That will be my job!” Sakura roared, completely filled with rage and hatred. She looked she was ready to kill somebody, and given her declaration just moments before, something told me that she wouldn’t hesitate to do so.
“Sakura, please calm down…” I suggested in a very calming tone.

It would be rather safe to say that I had no idea how to react. Despite how cliché it sounds, it all happened so fast. However, it is what happened. Sayaka Maizono, the Ultimate Pop Sensation, was kissing me, the type of student you would usually see as having their books thrown into a trashcan and being shoved into a locker. My first kiss… Would it be melodramatic for me to say that I felt I just stepped into a dream?
Just as I finally realized what had happened, the kiss was over. Sayaka was still gazing into my eyes as I was gazing into hers, as if we were trying to see into each other’s souls. Neither of us made a single movement or sound. It was like time had stood still once more.

Yes, I completed my vow to personally see to the end of Genocider Syo. But, the feeling was bittersweet. It was quite possible that what just transpired… would be considered a murder. If that were the case, my life would be over, literally.
I sighed as I remembered what I told Leon to do before our fight. I had told him to face his death like a man. Well, I might as well practice what I preach… I thought as I boarded the elevator, Leon’s dead body still laying on the floor.

When she did, though, she was thrown completely off-guard by finding her target in the room as well. Saiko must have thought that if they asked Shin about the victim’s location, it would raise suspicion if the person died shortly after, so she came up with a new plan: kill her intended target and Shin at the same time.
With that process in mind, Saiko raised her guitar with intention to strike down her target. However, her intentions wouldn’t come to pass. Seeing the potential killer make her move, Sh
