A view of Silver Creek area taken from Fly Hills at sunrise this morning. Shuswap, BC, Canada.
Used: 5D MK II, 17-40 f/4L, Manfrotto 190XB tripod, 3 stop hard edge ND Singh-Ray filter. For those of you curious about the filter, here is a link to it for more information [link]
Post Processing: Upped the brightness/contrast in RAW editor; used a bit of dodge tool to soften the dark edges on the mountains caused by the ND filter.
Today is the first day that actually felt like fall; my hands were going a little numb setting up the tripod from the cool air and windy conditions :)
If you wish, you can check out my Facebook page [link]

It was so nice and warm to sit on the rocks and soak up the sun. I found this photo as I was browsing though my road trip photos...and it made me nostalgic for the warmth of summer :)

One from tonight along the Pacific Coast here in San Diego. This image pretty much sums up why they call it the "Golden Coast". The sun reflects off of the sandstone cliffs and a golden coastline emerges. Please "Comment" and "Share" this photo

a light rain..an excellent water flow..some nice fog just overhead..seemed like the conditions where just right on my recent visit and finally got the shot ive been trying for for many years :]
