Alice sits with her crown inside this glass ornament. The text, taken from a copy of Alice, is free floating in the bottom of the bulb, and may be gently shaken to the desired position.

So I've been working with a gentleman for a few weeks now about a commission piece. His wife loves Alice, he wants to get her a sculpture for Christmas. We'd been debating what scene would be the best to do when the light bulb FINALLY went off in my head and I remembered I'd done an Alice before. I sent him a picture and he loved it, just wanted it as an open book. SO, here she is...and I couldn't resist adding the white rabbit because, in my mind, he is seriously overlooked.

Bring a view of Spain to your own home. This book sculpture is made from a 1914 Spanish language school book. It features silhouettes of prominent and historic buildings. Each building is cut through the book's pages and bent to stand. Wire runs through the buildings for stability.

About two hours worth of actual work. Six overall, since I was creating the pattern for it as I went to see what all worked. White, pink, and brown glass seed beads with black nylon. Unfortunately, due to amazing amount of times I had to string through the same beads, black nylon will be the only threading option for this piece. The white nylon is simply too thick.

About two days work, 2 1/2 inches tall, two inches across at the hem, and 3/4s of an inch at the waist. The bow is 3/4s of an inch long, and slightly wider. When held up, the two rows of purple beads don't go outwards.

The aqua beads started out much more aqua, but because of the black nylon the whole piece got a bit darker. Not sure how it'll be finished (hanger, mannequin, or ornament).

The instructions for this came from a Japanese book, but as far as I can tell the title of the book is simply "Miniature Beads Dress".

Arranged very much like I have my favorite folders, every color with glitter on alligator clips. I wish I had made some for myself.

Batuffli are a bunch of mischievous playful balls of fur, jumping around, causing trouble almost everywhere and manage to get away with it with their adorable big eyes. Tiny little creatures with too much energy to burn. If they stick with you, they might never let go!

They are made of synthetic fur (quality may vary with colour), craft eyes (colour may vary with each Batufflu) and filled with scrap fabric, having a ribbon to use it as a keychain or to hang it somewhere.

The body measures approximately 12cm (5")

Christmas bauble keyrings. The left one took AGES all those little swirls >.< The core of the swirls one is made from SuperSculpy clay with Fimo on top.
Size 2cm not including finding. Keyring attatched but removed for photo.

So i was comissioned by a friend to do an old mini cooper keychain This is the final result ^^

At first i tried to mold the clay but i easily squised the details, so i wen't with a different approach: I baked a small block of yellow polymer clay (after conditioning the clay of course) and i started to carve out the car.
At first the car was too long at the front, but after i made the windows i was able to get the sense os proportion better and i but it down.
With carving i had a lot less errors and mistakes and all i needded to to was grab raw clay and add it to the baked clay and either, shape it to fill the gap/detail with some silicones tools i recently bought, or i added the clay, baked it and re-carved that part.

I'm not saying this was easy. It was complicated but with time and pacience it all came together
The worst was the beginning, trying and failling, but in the end i managed it and i'm very happy with the result! and so is my friend and the person who received this lovely car ^^

I trully hope you like it and i'm sorry i couldn't take better photos of this beauty. Nevertheless, a photo is a photo Someday i might try to do another, but not during classes...this took me a long time to make!
