Not many shots had been taken Saturday so I'm just uploading my favorite. Tiny tiny anime 'con' that happened Saturday, downtown Ann Arbor, MI. Was sitting in on one of the panels, of which I got absolutely nothing out of cause I couldn't hear a word over the fan inside the head :P

Definitely had fun wandering around town and on campus, hangin' with the Homestuck cosplayers. Got a good number of awesome reactions as well as taking first in the cosplay contest :3 Bandana has the poke` symbol as well as the name "Fawkes". All in all the debut went well, had some bothersome 13 year olds but I got to freak out a cop on my way to the con so any downfalls were made up by the feedback I got from the general public I passed by.

Head originally made by Nathow111 on DA, heavily upgraded by me. Body and the rest is also me, Pokemon copyrighted to Gamefreak.

Finally got a full turnaround of this guy. No video, but he is at the moment one of my favorite suits I've made. 4 different realistic furs, a 5th on the arms and 2 different white furs. His debut was as a partial at this most recent Indy Fur Con and is to debut as a full suit at MFF the end of this year.

Hand painted jawset, glass taxidermy eyes from Tohickon. Hand wefted details in the ears, airbrushed markings, hand trimmed, and topped off with horse hair whiskers. His jaw is the most sensitive I've had so far from this base. Resin claws, rubber paw pads, and serged seams are upon the arms and hands. Tail is a mixture of 5 different furs all in itself.

Fursuit belongs to Teeth Wolf of FA, design and work by me.

Meet Scout! This ferret is a brand new head with a few new things that I've been wanting to try. Foam and balaclava base, this head has a HUGE amount of vision! Fantastic ventilation, it's a tad large on me so it's rather comfy. Silicone nose is made by DreamVision Creations upon DA/FA, the rest is by me. Slip on style hood, Scout features 4 different types of fur:

Distinctive Fabrics cream, white, and brown as well as a lighter and longer reddish brown purchased from another maker.

Scout is a full suit that will debut at MFF 2012 along with her blind companion so keep an eye out for this adorable Guide-Woozle in the future!

A werewolf costume which I've had in my plans for a while, and ended up throwing together rather quickly so I could have it in time for Halloween. I'm planning to start an upgraded version relatively soon.

Man, did I scare the crap out of some trick-or-treaters, though!

You can't tell in this photo because of the daylight, but there are yellow LEDs in the eyes, so they glow creepily.

Actually made this set last year, but never got photos. Made some changes for this year (new eye color, gold markings).
This costume belongs to my mom. Photo taken at Anthrocon'11

Groose you really shouldn't go stealing and hiding loftwings, they have mouths big enough to fit your head in... well maybe not your head since you have that damn pompadour X3

I love how the game managed to make a pompous ass like Groose such an honorable and likeable character by the end of the game.

this is also how I built Robot Unicorn, who served as my test subject and its 2 years old now and holding up splendidly to my abuse, even to being thrown to the ground, crammed in suit cases, and being left in a hot car.

I fully trust this method, which gives you a nice hallow head for mounting LED eyes and fans into, and gives you much more stable results for quadsuits, I also think it may be lighter than carved foam.

The colored one had its cheek foam and neck arch altered after this photo, the red eared one had foam added to the cheeks and eye ridge after this, the unicorn is a quadsuit head which has vision out a collar, the other 2 have vision out mesh in the neck just under the head.

Custom Leather Armor by Prince Armory

Consists of Helmet, Cuirass, Pauldrons, Full Arms, Full Legs, Tassets, Sabatons & Gauntlets, Cape, and Garment Skirting.

Hardened leather construction with brass hardware and some fabric bits. The horns on the helmet are water buffalo. It has some snake and wolf themes pertaining to the original Loki mythology/lore. I’ll be doing some additions to the cape and making a magical staff prop and more down the road.

It is called Medieval Loki because I am doing a series called the Medieval Legends where I take popular modern and historic icons, superheroes and villains, and I approach the costume design from the standpoint of “What if this character was an armored knight in a Fantasy Medieval Universe?” Loki is the third incarnation after Medieval Batman and Medieval Aquaman. Medieval Joker is up next. Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Iron Man, Spawn, Deadpool, Green Lantern and more are also in the works : )

Not the best pic ever but we've been waiting for the ideal shoot conditions but they just haven't come along. So this was a shot in our Imperial Armories ren fest shop during a rainy day. There are a number of additions I'll be doing to the set in time.

This is one of the main blasters form a film/web seires available on youtube called "Trenches"

We had a tight budget and had dozens of guns to make. I based this one on an airsoft sig 556, and added on a lot of additional details I think I made something like 12 of these guns.

This one is a one of a kind sniper model, I had a lot of fun making it possbly my favorite gun of the series.

A sight you are not likely to see any where else, three M56 Smart Gun replicas in a row. There'd be four but I ran out of materials very quickly. You would'nt believe the amount of work that goes into these things, they use up a lot of everything, resin, pewter, hardware, paint... I should raise my prices...LOL

This particular set of guns we called PDW's or personal defense weapons, they were shorter than the standard carbines and had folding stocks.

Daedric bow !!!
In Skyrim, I'm playing a wood elf ranger, so the daedric bow I've forged ingame is his ultimate weapon. That's the main reason that pushed me into making one replica of it (and also because I find it pretty cool looking).
The base of the bow is MDF, covered with a layer of resin that makes it more tough. And it's painted with acrylics.

And have a look at my other Skyrim props :

WooOOoo~ Close-up shots! *now you get to know how crappy it looks!*

Well, I admit that I like how it turned out for the most part, and It did serve it's purpose for the photoshoot....but it still needs some work.

I don't know how soon I'll get to "finishing" the staff, so I went ahead and started on this. I'll probably add more to it later....

Thank you :iconex-shadow: for helping me speed this process along! I wouldn't have gotten it done in time for the snow photoshoot without you! ^.^

Fai and the staff design are property of CLAMP

A wig commission for friend :iconhachiko77:
photo on the right was taken in front of a mirror, so I flipped it.

Was a more difficult wig to figure out because Lightning's hair is so different in every reference shot I find (some shots it's more dramatically spiked, and some shots have a more soft natural style). I like spiking, and that's what Hachi wanted me to do, so that's what I did XD

The wig base was a Lightning wig from Ebay, and it was overall pretty nice. I kinda wish it had just a little more volume on the top, but I think I did ok for what it had.
