And then I started reading fan fictions. (this was early yesterday morning nearly) And they were post reicenbach. John is depressed.

John's thinking of killing himself.

Hell, John Watson is the reason I can't watch the Fall...Because Sherlock's hurting him.
Because I'm the Sherlock in my relationship, and that makes me think, what if one day I hurt my watson....
And people do things to Joh to get some sort of emotion out of sherlock
He's got emotion. He cried because he had to leave John. There is real pain across his face when someone calls him a freak. He is hurt when the little girl screamed at him for whatever Moriarty did to her.
He's angry when Mrs. Hudson is attacked, ready to kill the man.
