Work :iconflutterrex: inspired me to draw a while ago. I really like how Grievous has been given much more badassness in the SW comics. Movie fucked it up. Grievous ftw.

This was one of my first collages with the Heroine fan-art maker www.azaleasdolls.com/heroine.h…

As we all know, a lot of older fairy-tales ended up with the princess marrying the prince and living happily ever after. This includes several Disney Princesses and heroines, though we don't have the luxury of seeing them all get married to their true loves :/.

These are images of all my fave Disney heroines at their best for walking down the aisle, though most of them are just me using my imagination :giggle:. They're in alphabetical order.

Ladies such as Ariel, Cinderella, Jasmine, Rapunzel, and Tiana were easy because you actually do see them get married onscreen. Some ladies such as Aurora and Megara were just in white versions of their iconic costumes.

Note: I only included Megara because I had 19 dolls and didn't want a hole in the collage. I would like her a lot better if I could find pictures of her without ol' fire-head included :puke:.

As for the other ladies, these other dresses are based on the world they live in, as well as the culture and what would have been most likely for them to wear.

Some of these ladies have 2 wedding dresses, like Tiana, because she got married twice in Princess and the Frog. Rapunzel's shown twice because in the little short film of her wedding, she still has short brown hair, but the wedding doll of her still has the long, golden locks. Merida has two dresses because I couldn't decide between blue and white, and I thought both looked gorgeous. Finally, Giselle has two because one of the dresses never made it to any wedding, while the other was something I thought she would wear when eventually marrying Robert :aww:.

The explanations behind these girls is extensive, so I'll probably post each one individually to elaborate.

Because a lot of people were asking questions about who's who, I'll list them from left to right here:

Row 1: Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, and Esmeralda.

Row 2: Giselle (from Enchanted x2), Jane (from Tarzan), Jasmine, and Megara.

Row 3: Mulan, Pocahontas, Kidagakash (from Atlantis: The Lost Empire), and Merida (x2)

Row 4: Rapunzel (x2), Snow White, and Tiana (x2).

When the Heroine fan-art creator www.azaleasdolls.com/heroine.h… was finished, I noticed some modern clothes in the bonus section, so I came up w/ this fun idea of showing what these ladies would be like if they lived in our world today ;). I've seen it done b4 with other artists drawing our fave Disney Princesses in today's fashions. I also had fun thinking up professions that each girl would be perfect for :D, though some of them wouldn't change at all from the movies.

Ariel: Olympic Swimmer

Aurora: Fashion Designer

Belle: Librarian

Cinderella: Active in charities for the poor.

Esmeralda: Street Performer

Giselle: Owner of Andalasia Fashions (little girls' fashion designer).

Jane: Gorilla Biologist.

Jasmine: Archeologist (specializes in Middle-Eastern artifacts).

Kida: Extreme Sports Athlete

Merida: Professional Hunter/Forester

Mulan: Martial Artist

Pocahontas: Professor of Native American History

Rapunzel: Professional Cowgirl (I loved coming up w/ that one :giggle:).

Snow White: Childcare Worker & Animal Rights Activist.

Tiana: Owner of Tiana's Palace (restaurant).

Note: If any1 has better ideas on what these ladies can do, or has questions, let me know. I'd be more than happy to explain.

Here's Princess Merida, my new favorite Disney Princess. She's the first female heroine ever shown in a Pixar movie. Her story is also the first fairy-tale Pixar has ever done too :). Originally it was meant to be called "The Bear & the Bow."

Merida's a fun character, tho she's constantly at odds w/ her mother, who is very strict & trying to teach her how to be a ruler rather than a vagabond.

The animation in the movie is gorgeous, & it was fun reading about how they designed the clothes & textures for "Brave."

I also recognized Billy Connolly as the voice of King Fergus, Merida's dad :). I've seen Connolly in some other funny movies, so I'd know his voice anywhere :giggle:. The comedy was great :lmao:. More than once the audience was laughing at something funny in the movie :D. I'd say the funniest parts were where the 3 little princes tricked all the men in the castle into being locked up on the roof. The 2nd-funniest part was when the men used their kilts to create a ladder & ended up climbing back down the 1st floor bottomless .

Azalea did a good job setting up at least 1 outfit made just for Merida, though I can't understand why they used sleeves from the Italian Renaissance on a 12th-century dress. Unless, of course, Merida designed those sleeves herself so she could move easily while shooting arrows. The girl's hair was something else :faint:. It was just a CLOUD of orange fluffiness :giggle:.

I did 2 versions of the pretty aqua dress, tho I find it ridiculous that her mother would put such a tight gown on her daughter, considering she wasn't wearing 1 like that herself. And why did she put a wimple on Merida's head when the girl wasn't even married? Was it another attempt at taming those wild locks? And where the hell did the Queen find a corset when they wouldn't be around in Scotland for another few centuries? I would have liked that aqua dress if it hadn't been so tight-looking on Merida, poor girl.

The first version of the aqua dress is w/ the wimple, which I made using pearls. The necklace & crown were made from tiny gold & silver beads. I used the tiny, oval hoop earrings available in the drag-and-drop section to make the neckline on the dress. I used large gold coins to make her belt & the little gold crescent moons for her buckle. I finally used gold roses to make the pretty wide band around the hem of her skirt. I was at something of a dilemma about the right color for the dress (seeing as aqua is 1 of my fave colors), tho I found some of the dress pieces from the Jasmine/Esmeralda section were perfect :D. The long sleeves from the princess section don't quite match, but it's not really noteworthy.
The 2nd version of the aqua dress is how Merida wore it when she outdid all the suitors in archery, minus the ripped seams.

The next 2 dresses are from my "Disney Brides" collage, where Merida's wearing 2 different colored versions of a wedding dress I designed for her. It makes me hope she'll find a prince charming later on who's man enough for her :). the dresses are based on what noble/royal ladies wore during the early middle ages. I made the girdle out of coins & gold beads to look like a fancy chain. White was not always used for brides before the Victorian Era, tho pale blue sometimes was used to represent virginity. I couldn't decide which color looked prettier on Merida, so I kept both :D.

The last outfit is what Merida might wear in modern day. It's from the "21st Century Disney Heroines" collage. Merida's a very active girl, & green is her best color. I'd say a girl like her would enjoy hiking, bow-hunting (yes, ppl still do that as a hobby these days), & she would probably do best at being a Forester, a person who practices the science of growing trees, keeping an eye on the plants in a forest, healing sick plants, deciding where's the best place to harvest lumber & where not to, observing the ecology of a forest. It would be the perfect job for Merida, seeing as she loves the outdoors & is very observant. There's more info on Forestry here: [link]

Oh man, the newest episode of Clone Wars was absolutely outstanding, non stop action everywhere, and probably the biggest battle scenes ever achieved in a television show. This is the Republic fleet with a couple of Y-wings flying over Geonosis.

Ariel as a Jedi.

I like her outfit. Of course, it’s a bit far from her usual outfit, but I tried to keep the form of her seashells. The color scheme is better than her original’s I think, it was weird in purple and green

ALRIGHT. NUMBAH FOUR IN THE SERIES. Rapunzel! Quick intro for those not in the know:

"Anyway, this idea is not really new or original, it's basically just me sitting around going "More Disney Princesses should have light sabers." So I decided to give it to them.

Now the characters I chose don't necessarily correlate to any character in the Star Wars Universe. Also. This doesn't follow Star Wars canon exactly either, because where's the fun in that? And that would be... very hard to completely correlate, but I was inspired to create mini back stories for each character I did."

So. Rapunzel. She was kept in hiding because of her amazing powers she exhibited at a young age (Both her hair and in the fooorce~~), however she wanted to explore the entire universe. She got that opportunity when a young man, Flynn, managed to help her escape. However, the Emperor managed to hear about her and her adventures and soon found her. He warned her that in a vision he saw, Flynn would soon die. Wanting to become more powerful and believing she was putting Flynn at risk, Rapunzel joined the Empire and now is mastering her force powers... on the Dark side.

So yeah! Punze is a Sith, and basically the emperor's right hand woman. I am sad you couldn't see the hand that was holding the lightsaber, but it just didn't work with the pose and composition, and I really wanted people to see her holding that hair. :3 I did a version with glowy hair too, but I didn't like it as much. If you'd like to see it: [link] Clicky!

Alright here's a list of the others!

We still got:
Jasmine
Mulan
Stitch

Number five in the series! Fa Mulan!

Okay Copy Paste intro time!

So Mulan is the daughter of a famous war general of the Empire. However, she discovered the atrocities the Empire has committed and decided to run off to try and help the rebels. There she found out she was gifted in the arts of the force and though she was clumsy at first, she quickly has found her way and has climbed through the ranks. She's been entrusted with more an more leadership positions and is considered one of the top rookies.

So. This would probably actually be one of Mulan's earlier outfits before becoming more of a veteran. Then I think she'd wear more black. However, I really liked the colors of Mulan's more casual wear.

I was also a bit sad that her pose had to remain so static(she's in the middle of the group, thus she has the most linear pose), but everyone seems to like it despite that.

Anyway. WOO! My fave Disney girl! Mulan :3

OTHERS:

STILL TO COME:
Stitch
Jasmine

ALRIGHT. So. NUMBER THREE on the list :3 Esmeralda. As one of my friends says:

Good. Lord.

Okay Copy Paste intro time!

So here's Esmeralda. She was taken hostage by Frollo the Hut(SEE WHAT I DID THERE?) after it was found she was helping rebel forces find sanctuary. Eventually she's picked up by the rest of the good Disney Wars Crew and brought on board....

You guys realize that this means Belle and Esmeralda may get together---

Now I want you it imagine the "I love you" "I know" scene... Except with Belle and Ezzie.

You're welcome :3

Anyway. This one was tons of fun...

Alright! THREE DOWN YOU GUYS! FOUR MORE TO GO!

As a note. This pose was referenced directly from the Star Wars film. It's too iconic not to reference

Because I am a glutton for punishment-I still have 309 people to thank for faves and watches. dA is gonna think I'm spamming again ^^;

Anyways, this was a prompt from tumblr! I asked people to give me a fandom and I'd draw myself as if I were a part of it. Except I did it as Jane and Cindy :P I was asked to draw Jane and Ariel in a scene at Atlantis! (I totally thought it said Atlantica at first, I drew a whole sloppy coral reef background :P) So Ariel found some old Atlantian stuff and wanted to show Jane ^^

Yeah, this was only gonna be a quick sketch, but it turned into a crappily colored sketch instead since I seem to have no self control ^^;
