Chapter 2: DemoniButter watched as her brother continued to play in the water, completely oblivious to the reason why he could never wander past the very river he was playing within. She yearned to know what Euteria had to offer past such restricted areas and what kind of people lurked around the dark corners of such a dazzling world.Chapter 2: Demoni in Free Verse More Like This
Then a soft noise made its way towards her and she twitched her ears towards her right as she instinctively turned her head slowly to see another cat. The girl was noticeably sitting on a tree branch that was right above both of them, making no real effort to hide herself from their eyes.
Butters ears went back in aggression and a slow long growl rumbled out of her throat.
Scotch, sensing the shift of energy in the area sprung out of the water and fled towards the safety of his sister. "What is it?!" he whispered worryingly at her, shifting his eyes around the grassy meadow.
Butter let out another long territorial growl until responding to his question, "We have an int
Chapter 3: CottoneseThe Demoni ran at Butter who stood her ground, bracing herself for impact. She planted her boots into the ground as the taller, stronger intruder crashed into her. Grabbing Butter's dress, the demon cat slammed her into the tree, causing a shower of leaves to fall over them as some birds squawked in annoyance, fleeing from their nests. Butter's lips curved up, baring her teeth as she puffed out her tail in animosity. She extended her claws and raised her arm, slicing across the Demoni's shoulder as a yelp escaped the demon cats' lips. Butter seized this opportunity, using the tree for leverage as she kicked her foot out and slammed it into the Demoni's stomach, flinging her into the dirt. The Demoni let out a hiss before bolting upwards and sprinting at Butter. Butter's cat-like instincts took over as the flame point jumped into the air right over the demon cat, whose momentum resulted in slamming face-first into the tree.Chapter 3: Cottonese in Free Verse More Like This

Chapter 1: Flame PointsThe sound of water encircled the area. The subtle echo of the liquid splashing against the river stones, sent an array of euphoria to her ears. A loud crash erupted, the sound of the peaceful water being pushed out of its safe abode.
A piercing tone called out to her, “Butter! Please come in the water with me!”
She instantly recognized the voice belonging to her twin brother Scotch. Her cat ears twitched from the annoyance of her brother disturbing her tranquility. She peered one of her eyes open to see him drenched in the crystal like waters of Euteria. She couldn’t resist as the urge overtook her and the lips upon her face curved into a smile, her unmistakable feline fangs exposing themselves. The saliva dried quickly in the morning air.
“You are so silly brother, you are a walking contradiction.” She said, her smile growing wider.
Her brother tilted
Chapter 4: Blue PointButter released the air from her lungs, turning it into an eerie mist in the frigid night air. Her ears stood up straight on end, and her tail twitched back and forth anxiously. She hated being here, her master knew that—but he did not care. He only saw her as a pretty face, a breed to attract potential suitors. It was simple really, her master wanted to find her a perfect mate—one that was wild—in hopes to create a unique blood line, one that no one else has ever discovered. He desired to create a cross between a flame point and a blue point. The master wanted to produce a white tailed cat with soft, glowing blue tips, mixed all together with Butter's subtle orange hue. Butter was merely a pawn for the masters sick game, but fortunately for her, not a single blue point has stood up to the masters standards. She was a perfect flame point to her masters’ eyes, so only a perfect blue point could equal her flawlessness.Chapter 4: Blue Point in Free Verse More Like This

Scotch puffed out his tail in anger.
“I said you are going the wrong way! Why won’t you listen to me!?”
Kokoro hushed him.
“Be patient, she has a reason for doing so.”
Iris stood up and turned towards the remaining twin.
“Your master has altered the surroundings to your house, the path in which you are used to has changed. The only way for us to find your sister is to follow this trail. It will take some patience but we have to keep moving to find her in time.”
Kokoro nodded and Iris fled towards the direction of the scent, the others running close behind her.
“What do you think he is doing to Butter?!” Scotch yelled out to Iris, but she only shook her head.
“I have no idea.” But she did know. She knew every little th

“Take a deep breath.” Uttered a voice, but it was muffled and displaced. The tone and volume would gradually grow louder, and then fade ever so softly to a whisper.
“What? Why…Why am I here?” she answered, fluttering her eyelids open, trying to focus her eyes on the setting around her.
“We can use her to get to him.” A murmur came from her right.
“This can finally be the key to destroying the humans.” Another voice said from the left.
“Silence yourselves!” a familiar tone whispered back harshly.
Butter slowly leaned her body up, only to hear the continuous whispers erupt again.
“Oh she awakens!” another voice penetrated her ears, “She must be informed!”
She rubbed her head as her vision slowly came back to see a strange scene laid out before her. She was inside what appeared to be castle grounds; the tall s
Chapter 9: Secret FoeKokoro sat upon a tree branch, looking down at a river that slithered its way through a meadow, up into the mountains. It was a beautiful view. Euteria was magical, in its own way. She felt like she was safe here. She did not know many of the cats that resided in this place, but she did admire the beauty within their domain. Why, then, did she feel so trapped? No one knew what her life was like, what she had been through. She wished to leave it that way, but a small bit of her yearned to let it out.Chapter 9: Secret Foe in Profiles More Like This
She longed to tell someone that the master who Butter and her friends despised, was in fact the very human she had been hired by to spy upon the young flame point. It was her own master whom was friends with Ren. They had made a pact, which was why Iris had been freed. Her master felt that Iris was too rebellious and would not agree to the order, so he dismissed her leaving Kokoro to do the job. As much as it pained her, she knew defying her masters’ orders would never be possible.

The elder nodded, “This is precisely why, when the time is right, we tell him of that power. If Butter successfully falls for you and kills her master, and Scotch knowing of the outcome will not hesitate to save her.”
Haru sat back in his chair, rubbing his head, “Scotch is very noble but his sister would never allow him to do such a thing as to sacrifice himself.”
The elder grimaced, “That is why we will not make it known to her. As you know, Scotch is the switch that enables Butter’s magic. We need that magic and cannot afford it to be switched off by any means. This is a type of power I have only sensed in Ren, so it is only fitting that his own prized possession was the one factor that lead him to his downfall.”
Haru nodded, “Then where do we go from here?”
The elder adjusted himself within the

Butter's ears perked up in interest. Were her prayers finally to be answered? Was meeting this feral cat fate? To finally roam around Euteria without fear of her master following her or harming her was something she had been dreaming about. Since she was born her master would beat her, ranging from a single slap to a full fledged attack depended upon whether or not the master was in a good mood. This meant most of the beatings she received were as a result from something she did not do. She had not tried to escape before because she couldn’t bear to leave her mother and Scotch in such an awful place. Her mother had passed away in the last six months, and now the entire brunt of the beatings were inflicted on Butter. Butter had tried desperately to keep quiet so that her brother could liv

“Are you alright?”
Butter couldn’t help but feel choked by life and its burdens. The dream she had seemed so real, and out of everything she learned, she still had more questions than answers. What had she done wrong? Why was her brother always in harm’s way? Why couldn't she protect him?
She felt like she should tell Scotch about her dream, but she knew it would only frighten him. How long could she keep him in the dark? Surely if she was in his predicament she would want to know. However, Scotch was weaker than Butter, both physically and mentally. The news would just crush him.
As the blue point looked down at her, she couldn’t help but feel sour towards him and his role in her life, yet a little part of her was saddened. His fate was to be killed, not for being corrupt but for the slim chance that he could turn evil. She could not fathom killing someone who had done no wrong, that had committed
