My take on The Frog Prince fairytale, in a renaissance twist. No iconic kissing scene though as i based it on one of the original versions in which the princess is not only a spoiled brat but also a little aggressive and throws the frog against the wall at some point. This (or the shock most probably) causes his transformation to a conveniently handsome young prince and the princess has a change of heart and marries him then and there. Now why would he want to marry her is a mystery but you know, there are far more weird unions and endings in some of those fairytales.

This image illustrates a story I was reading that comes from Welsh mythology. It's about a woman who betrayed her husband and conspired with her lover to have him murdered, so she's punished by being transformed into an owl.
I spent a long time on this one so I was determined to finish it, but I really didn't like it very much once I was finished
inspired me to start practicing my traditional skills (beyond just inking) so here is my first attempt at painting one of my drawings with actual watercolors instead of digital colors. Obviously I have lot's more practicing to do lol.
