A sudden pain in his stomach jolted Dan awake as Phil dived on him in a sudden rush of black and blue. Dan blinked in surprise, staring at his flatmate in disbelief.
"What the hell, Phil?!"
The older boy laughed, still straddling Dan's hips as he exclaimed, "It's snowing!" He squeaked excitedly, grabbing Dan's hands and leaning back to pull him up.
Dan groaned and rolled over, pulling the covers up over his head, "Five more minutes."
"No, come on!" Phil yanked the blanket down again, exposing Dan in his boxers. He bit his lip, blushing and stuttered, "Umm you p-promised we c-could build a snowman."
The younger rolled his eyes, sitting up; he knew when he was defeated.
"Fine! I'm getting up."
Phil jumped off the bed again, smiling before heading for the kitchen to make breakfast. He fo

Phil squeezed his boyfriend's hand, literally flailing with excitement as they stood in the ever growing crowd. There were so many people. Under normal circumstances, Phil would have felt quite claustrophobic but this was not a normal day. You didn't go to see your favourite band live in concert on an average day in Manchester. The pair had been standing for hours, occasionally singing along to the songs blasting through the PA system.
The familiar riff at the beginning of 'Hysteria' caught everyone's attention, thunderous applause erupting from the sea of people as the stage lights went up, illuminating the figures standing with their instruments. Innocence (73)Tired of mumbling when they mention your name-Innocence (73) in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Desperate, longing, to simply be sane.
Want to be free, to dance with the wind
No longer thinking what we had was sin.
Used to be open, carefree and young
Long before we knew how love truly stung.
Now so broken with patches and scars,
Thinking this plan has never been ours.
Sure there's a reason for every small tear,
But gratitude is something you will not find here.
Give it some time, let memories build up
Don't think about all the days now corrupt.
Oh to be innocent like I once was,
To answer my questions with words like "Because"
Without having to worry about things in the past...
Not really wondering how long we would last.
The Childhood SparkI was once carefree and young,The Childhood Spark in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
I would take on the world to one.
With a stick in my hand, a hat on my head,
I was a knight with last words said.
My eyes would glitter, my smile would shine
I knew that the win was mine.
But one day I fell from my horse so high,
My world was nothing but one great lie.
Looking in the mirror
I see a sorry sight.
An echoing thought of yesterday-
Eyes that hold no light.
Where is my laugh, so daring and free?
This isn't what I planned,
I don't know what to say.
How can I find that childhood spark?
