JOURNEY, Best game i had ever playedThis got to be the most amazing game i had ever played in my entire life. Been a gamer for almost 30 years, played all type of games, including hentai games, hhahahahha. But i was not satisfied at 100%, i mean final fantasy 7, zelda, shadow of the colosus, call of duty, pacman. All games were amazing, especially Shadow of the Colossus that almost gave me a 95% satisfaction.
And i asked myself, i had seen it all, i topped the gaming genre, i wont cry again for the beauty and sadness like Shadow of the Colossus anymore.
I WAS WRONG-
I bought the collectors edition, i highly recommend it.
There were times i just sight and enjoyed the view of the landscapes, hearing the wind sound, then i noticed the loneliness, and felt bad, so each time i saw a companion i was so happy to begin a journey with them. I felt sad when a monster eats my companions, you truly care about them.
At first i was like damn there is another player go away, leave me play alone, but the more you play, the more loneline

Put simply, I have this (evidently archaic) opinion that; if you want to make money, you have to do the work first. I don’t like the idea of taking money off people unless they get something for it immediately, not [insert timeframe here] down the line. It feels like a scam. That’s why I produce all those cheap digital comics: to finance my larger projects (and which is why I get pissed off when I find them being distributed freely online, because it slows everything down).
Even for large projects, like video-games that only have a niche audience and which big publishers won’t ever assist: I don’t see crowd funding as a particularly good way to go about getting production capital. I prefer the early release approach, such as that Mojang took with Minecraft.

That's right; i'm one of the few artists here on DA that seems content with my name. That; and I think changing a "brand" simply because you can, after you've spent time and energy building up an audience is f**king stupid.
I've been here for years. I've operated on the internet under "jollyjack" for longer. If I changed that now it would be monumentally confusing to people that follow my work, which, in turn, would have an effect on revenue.
There are a ton of artists here whose work I keenly follow, and I think they're kinda shooting themselves in the foot by doing this.
Kinda reminds be of those little label-making things everyone's been given on at least one Christmas as a kid: you unwrap it, you find out what it does and you spend the rest of the day punching out new tags for everything. Even if they'

I don’t know a huge amount about the “New 52” take on the DC universe (I stopped paying attention to DC’s output when they changed their logo to look like a half-unwrapped Acme magnet) but if the Justice League: War animation is any kind of summary, I’m glad I’ve not wasted my time.
Batman now seems to think it’s impolite if he doesn’t tell everyone who he is, Wonder Woman has taken to talking like a really, really bad Shakespearean actor and Superman is a dick.
Ignoring the animation’s terrible narrative, what struck me like a rancid kipper in the face was how god-awful the character designs were. In this instance; particularly Darkseid’s. Yeah, he wore a bucket on his head in the past, but it worked! It added to his menace as a laser-firing brick of doom. You took one look at him and you knew who he was.

Google bought Boston Dynamics a little while back. Their robotic technology has clear applications, both industrial and domestic (though they’ll want to make that stuff look a little less underwear-soilingly scary for the latter), so this is a good corporate move.
It’s been all over the news that Facebook has “pulled a Google” and purchased Oculus Rift, which, in contrast to the Boston Dynamics acquisition, has me scratching my head. We knew 20 years ago that this was dead end tech. The practical applications of wearing a bucket on your head are extremely limited. It’s right up there with motion control. If it w

Well; that was rather good, wasn't it?
Splendid art, voice acting and a compelling narrative on par with any live-action, prime-time series.
The resolution at the end, though, felt a little rushed. While I'm glad there was one, it had an air of finality about it, as though it's uncertain a second season will ever transpire.
If there isn't one; it'll be a crime, given all the work that went into crafting Korra's world.

I dont believe in mentors, not all mentors are qualified to teach, they can misguide you sometimes. If you have a mentor it can turn you into his clone, i had seen tons of great artists that their technique wasnt good but they were more unique and after having mentor, their style lose uniqueness. Because be honest, we copy what we like, and usually we ask for mentors of people that style will enjoy the most.
For example you go and learn to play guitar with Slash, you will master the guitar at rock, but you if you wanna learn country, Slash wont teach you that, your hands will have the skills but you will have to start country from zero, and country its your style.
Sooner or later the technique of the mentor will consume you. Because errors are the things that

Its funny when people ask tons of things in a drawing, like 30 characters fighting a 12 dragons, and they think they can get it cheaper than a pencil drawing, because in the computer there must be a secret brush that makes all of this in 2 hours.
Sadly, painted style in digital takes more time than traditional. Artists says its easier, because you have more control. But sadly textures are cooler in traditional, and easier.
I remember 4 or 5 years ago when started thinking bout digital, i said damn if i learn digital, i will skip drawings and paint directly, this will make my life easier, it will take me less time to finish a product, like i can even finish 3 drawings in just a day, yeahhh i should try that.

Are You Afraid of the Grimdark? After I started posting Animorphs fan art this past week, I got into a discussion with several Deviants about the way the original book series ended. My stance was, I didn’t like Animorphs’ gradual slide into bleak depressing hopelessness, where nothing works out for any of the main characters and it’s heavily implied that they all die. The whole thing felt like K.A. Applegate toying with the readers’ emotions for five years just to say “See? This is why war is bad, people!” Yeah, I get that. But I prefer stories where the good guys triumph, where they overcome insurmountable odds and achieve their goals. While binge-watching Muppet videos on YouTube this week, I noticed a lot of comments from people saying “Bring back the Muppet Show!” or words to that effect. And that got me thinking. Y’know, a new Muppet television show could be a great idea! If you want to stick with the variety format of The Muppet Show, it’s a fairly easy set-up to maintain: comedy sketches, musical numbers, celebrity guests, and the Muppets being their usual Muppety selves. This made the SU fandom flip its collective shit, with an explosive outcry that basically amounted to "Fuck off, neckbeards, don't bring your pony porn into our fandom." Clearly, the brony reputation precedes them. It got so bad that the EQD mod in question immediately trashed his plans for the new site, not wanting to invoke any full-scale fandom wars.
I've talked before about how squicked out I am by the darker side of the MLP:FIM fandom, and how the elitist cloppers who whine about the show not pandering to them scream lo
The Top 10 Most Cromulent Simpsons Episodes: 10-6Ever since I first started watching The Simpsons almost a decade and a half ago, I've had a hard time pinning down my favorite episodes. How can I possibly choose my all-time favorites from 528 episodes, 185 of which are actually good? Well, after much consideration and re-watching of the series, I think I've got it down at last. Presenting the first half of a two-part list, detailing my absolute favorite episodes of what was once the greatest cartoon on television. 10. Last Exit to Springfield
What is there to say about this episode that hasn't been said already? Entertainment Weekly ranked it #1 on its list of the Greatest Simpsons Episodes of All Time, and surely, there can be no higher praise than that, right? It is an incredibly funny episode, barely even allowing you time to breathe between jokes. Case in point: the marvelous sequence where Mr. Burns gives Homer the grand tour of his palatial mansion, which contains the largest TV in
I Love the '90s With a VengeanceDear VH1,I Love the '90s With a Vengeance in Personal More Like This
Hey, way to go! You finally put together an "I Love the..." series for the 2000s that not only came out after the decade was over, but also highlights stuff people actually remember! I knew you could pull it off. (Definitely could use more Hal Sparks, though. And Michael Ian Black. And Mo Rocca, and Rachel Harris, and Godfrey... But I digress.)
Anyway, now that you're doing new "I Love the..."s again, wouldn't you agree it's high time you finally got around to making one last "I Love the '90s" miniseries? Even with the first one and "I Love the '90s: Part Deux", there's still about 200 or so events from the decade worthy of good-natured ribbing left to cover. Hell, "I Love the '80s" got three series, so why not this one?
I'll even save you some time. I've comprised a list of topics for your cadre of all-but-unknown comedians to discuss for each episode. Rest assured that I have thoroughly checked and double-checked both previous "I Love the '90s" series to ensure that none of
My Top 10 Most Influential Underwater Scenes: 10-6Ever since I started doing Off the Deep End, I suddenly seem to get asked one question more than any other: “What’s the deal with you and underwater scenes?” Well, I’ve always been endlessly fascinated by the contrast between land and water. If you think about it, water is like another dimension where everything is totally different to us, and we humans can’t breathe in it, stand up in it, or see clearly through it – yet it covers more than two-thirds of our home planet. I think it’s really interesting to see people try to carry on their everyday lives underwater, even though we have no business being there. I can see a lot of creative potential in that. Yes, it’s weird, but that weirdness is what draws me to it.My Top 10 Most Influential Underwater Scenes: 10-6 in Personal More Like This
And where did this fascination come from? Well, thinking back to my childhood, of which I spent the vast majority glued to a TV screen, I’ve narrowed down ten of the most noteworthy scenes that flashed before my impressiona
Fandom PainsSo I'm over on Equestria Daily yesterday, and they've got this discussion going where the fans have to think up their own episode ideas. And while a few people are taking it seriously and exploring new possibilities of the characters' personalities and the show's universe, most people are just coming up with the most disturbing self-gratifying shit. And without the slightest trace of irony, either.Fandom Pains in Personal More Like This
I was warned about the unsavory side of the fanbase when I started watching the show, but I figured "Oh, I can just ignore that, it's no big deal." But they're everywhere. People who draw creepy explicit fan art. Or write vicious hate-fics. Or rant endlessly about how Twilight having wings is somehow a travesty to all mankind. Or have disturbing unhealthy obsessions with side characters. It all feels like they're feeding into the brony stereotype, not because they genuinely like the show that much, but as if they're just trying to say "Look at me! I'm a grown man who likes

5. We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story: Louie’s Breakfast-Making Escape Raft Capsizes
Steven Spielberg’s 1993 was going so well up until this point – he had Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, and “Animaniacs”, and then this happened. Terrible, terrible movie, folks, believe me. But at least one scene stuck with me, despite its extreme brevity. There’s two annoying precocious kids in this movie, and we’re introduced to one of them in the middle of the Hudson River. Louie is a preteen runaway who’s apparently crafty enough to build a raft equipped with a machine that makes his breakfast for him (what, did he borrow the blueprints from Pee-Wee Herman?). As he rafts down the tranquil river, jamming out to the music on his boombox, the dinosaurs come parachut

Michelle Hsien! What's up?
#2: Do you know why you were named that?
Well, I assume my parents had something to do with it. Pretty sure they just thought it sounded pretty.
#3: Single or taken?
Oh my God, I'm dating the sweetest guy in the world! His name is Joel, and he totally gets me - he makes me happier than anything or anybody, ever!
#4: Do you have any special abilities or powers?
If you consider being fluent in DOS a power, then hell yeah. Also, I can stand on my head, if that's worth anything.
#5: Stop being a Mary-Sue!
What, you mean like Internet fanfiction? What's that got to do with anything?
#6: *ahem* Sorry about that.

advice on some stuff to look up before tutorialsso im gonna be starting to make some tutorials soonadvice on some stuff to look up before tutorials in Personal More Like This
before that you should look up some informations
you probably noticed that in my work it is often hard to distinguish if im using a zbrush model or just painined it all in photoshop
reason for that is simple.
my realism rendering is greatly based on 3 d rendering processes.
by this i mean as i learned 3d i became aware of the stuff we usually visually take for granted.
qualities of material, importance of reflectivity, ambient occlusion, and subsurface scattering.
to any 3d artist these are everyday terms, while 2d artists usually paint them without often even being aware of wheat they are really doing
for instance , a 3d artist will at any given point use 2 types of shadows. cast shadows from a direct lightsource, and ambient occlusion shadows which naturally appear more intensively the closer planes of an object are together.
i can get into this and make it a long discussion , but easier w

before we get to the books themselves i would like to offer bit of an insight for anyone interested in getting their own stuff out there.
i am not covering crowdfunding as i personally stay clear of it.
this is a bunch of experiences i had, and since i got through this and am now doing fine, i thought some might find them useful
now, as i work predominantly for independent companies, my work can be a bit hard to get.
reason for this is a simple one. comic book stores buy their supplies from diamond. the main distributor.
they buy stuff they know will sell. comics aren't a huge profit business so they have to choose the winners on their own.

This is no a problem that has a solution. It has only agreements to disagree.
I disagree profoundly with the KKK but I defend their right to free speech and, yes, even when it points it's boney finger of vitriol my direction because of some of the beliefs I hold dear.
I have an idea..."Hey, Muslims, if you don't like Charlie Hebdo cartoons, don't fuckin look at them" because there are MILLIONS of your brothers who are peace loving, free speech defending, and TRUTHFUL practitioners of your "faith". Matter of fact, a French police officer that these guys murdered was Muslim.
In a society, we have to have rules, laws, and boundaries. I could possibly drive 50KPH in a 25KPH zone but there are laws against that because at some point in time, lawmakers decided the risk to reward balance was too great to drive faster than 25. Even though I am (c

What I WILL address is the idea of our Constitutional "right to bear arms". The misconstrued perception of this "right", saddens and confuses me. The archaic belief that having a gun in our houses will enable us to "defend ourselves" is not only statistically improbable, it is metaphorically AND literally unsettling to those who live with us. A loaded gun in a house says,"I don't trust people", "I am afraid someone will break in and hurt us", and also "I am willing to shoot to kill another human being".
If you have a gun in your house and it is NOT loaded, the statistical probability of you being able to get to it, load it, and confront a home invader AND for the outcome of that confrontation to be positive in ANY way, is insignificantly small.
Everything is Beautiful...NOT!In the 1960s, Ray Stevens wrote a song titled "Everything Is Beautiful" and it won him a grammy. Perhaps it was the idealism of those times or maybe a personal philosophy that gave birth to this song. It starts out with children singing "Jesus Loves the Little Children", a song I remember singing in church when I was a child.Everything is Beautiful...NOT! in Personal More Like This
"Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Red and yellow, black and white
They are precious in His sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world"
Like Disney's "It's a Small World", this song has a worm like infectious tune that rolls around in your brain like a marble in a barrel. A child, once he has learned this song, will hum it, whistle it, and sing it until adult ears bleed. Not only is the tune contagious, the lyrics are ideal and Pollyanna to the point of near myopic blindness.
After one chorus of "Jesus Loves the Little Children", Mr. Stevens' song moves into his "Everything Is Beautiful, in It's Own Way" mantra.

Dad gave me permission so here goes my first attempt at writing. Don't judge me too harshly because I'm only a week old and I've got my hands full trying to learn stuff. For instance, eyes!!! Wow, eyes are tough to control! It's hard to focus them and move them all around. I can't really see all that well yet but I think I recognize Mom and Dad and I CERTAINLY recognize a fine nipple, which makes Dad proud. Of course, I don't have much experience with other nipples but, I have time to fix that.
I spent a few days in ICU (Mom, Dad, and I called it "jail") at the hospital because Mom ran a fever during birth and the docs said they found some indication of infection in the blood samples they took from me

My girlfriend and I traveled today to Atsugi, about an hour train ride from Tokyo. We had some business to take care of there. It was a bit frustrating because we couldn't get everything done we needed to, but the traveling to and from was delightful.
I was amazed, looking out the train window, there was not ONE piece of litter. I think we traveled 20 miles or more before I saw so much as a tissue paper beside the tracks. The Japanese, even in the less affluent areas, are incredibly tidy.
During the morning commute, the subway trains are packed so full there are literally uniformed individuals called "pushers" whose job it is to shove people into the cars as tightly as possible. As the doors slide shut they get very aggressive and carry out their job of sardine commuter packing very seriously and they do it with smiles and white gloves and a charm that everyo

A Rim PacificOh, what fun it is to watch mayhem...A Rim Pacific in Personal More Like This
As of this writing (typing), I've just gotten back from a late viewing (in the sense that it's late Sunday night/Monday morning and that I'm also late to the party) of "Pacific Rim" in 3D, and since I'm still pretty juiced on kaiju hijinks I've decided to yammer about it.
No point in delaying the inevitable: I loved the crap out of this movie. There were only a couple other folks in the theater with me (I went alone, thanks very much all you slacker "friends" who can't be bothered to follow me to giant robot glory!) but the enthusiasm was still present. There was clapping and vocalizing of the "Hell YES" variety, and that's half the fun of going to the movies; when you slam bolt upright in your seat, slap your knee and pump your fist, then realize you're not the only one doing it because on the screen a GIANT ROBOT IS USING AN OIL TANKER AS A BASEBALL BAT and that is the level of response such a sight demands. At LEAST.

Slumlord Frigid AirAbout a year ago, I moved into a studio apartment on the east side of Sheboygan. It's an old brick building right across the street from the marina, with a nice view of Lake Michigan. The place is fairly old (built in the 1940s, I believe), but I like the look and feel of older buildings. And the rent was reasonably cheap, too, at about $350 per month. Since most of my paycheck gets eaten up by student loan payments, I wasn't really in the market for anything more expensive than that. A studio apartment is pretty small and cramped, but it's not like a single guy needs much space to run around, and I don't have much furniture anyway.Slumlord Frigid Air in Personal More Like This
For the most part, it's been a good ride. My closest neighbor, Mike, is a friend from work, and the other neighbors are either pleasant or keep to themselves (even when Mike and I are up til 3 am drinking beer and bitching about life. The Tweet of LifeI remember a time when this journal was my fountain of release, where I'd mutter all sorts of nonsense and ruminations for paragraphs at a time, people would comment, I'd comment back, and we'd all laugh on and on into the night while sipping brandy and nibbling on exotic cheeses while the band played on....and then Twitter came around, and all my idiot thoughts leaked out into an anonymous pool of hashtags and banality and my deviantART journal reservoir ran dry.The Tweet of Life in Personal More Like This
Because that's kind of what twitter is, you know? Holes in the aqueduct. All the thoughts and observations that might eventually pool into a more cogent set of ideas and expressiveness just trickle into short bites of text that impress no one. My journals and those of others are pretty shallow to begin with, but at least they have the illusion of being a more formal means of expression. Tweets are just more accessible, infinitely less significant yammering. And everyone can do it. A far smaller percentage of people are capabl
