Here's another sketch I did especially for the requests on how I did the piece [link], so i did it again as close as i can to it since its a sketch and recording it, so i hope this answers your question! Also, since its a sci-fi zombie scene, why not deadspace! I was listening to the awesome soundtrack while sketching this as well.
Heres the vid: [link] This was done around 1 hour in real time, before i go to bed. So good night peeps!
Here's a another speed painting I did this afternoon, trying out a post apocalyptic scene and wanted to share on some different techniques and hope to inspire some other people out there.
The time lapse of the video is here [link] It's about 2.5 hours in real time.
Also, you guys could recommend want you want to know and what you would like me to share, I'll review them and hopefully do painting recordings to reply them. Just throw me any requests you have in mind.
So, you can follow my youtube channel and stay tuned for coming vids. [link]
I'm not really that good at paintings, unlike masters like fengzhu, daniel dociu, kekai, etc, but i'm also learning, so i'll try to help those who're like me as well out there.
A giant glowing orb hovers silently at the core of an alien Dyson sphere, at each of it's poles an array of massive spires seemingly hold the orb in place. What is the orb for and why was an artificial planet built around it? Or was it created there. The artificial planet holds many mysteries, I wonder where that sun light is coming from, lets go find out.
Inspired by Halo 4 and my own series Telikos Protocol, I have always loved monolithic structures that seemingly go on forever and their simple geometric shape only adds to their scale. I will be doing some more paintings based on this "planet" one being how that sun is generated. Should be interesting.
Here is a treat, this is the E.D.G.E Primary Command Centre located in the mega city CORE. It's where E.D.G.E keeps track of all it's assets on Earth and in orbit. This is part of a single page spread right out of the first issue of Telikos Protocol.
This one took me the better part of a day
We still need your support on this project to make it a reality in print form, head over the the Kickstarter and support us and bag yourself some cool rewards, or spread the word!!! [link]
Head over to the Facebook page for constant updates as well as a special Step-by-Step montage of how this image came together: [link]
One of the most bombastic images I have created to date, commissioned for a new book series called Armada Wars: www.facebook.com/ArmadaWars which launches later this year and incorporates a number of military sci-fi stories all set in the same universe
All painted in Photoshop. Made it up as I went along. This image is a personal project, so doesn't belong to anyone else, i.e. a client. To buy the full license to this image would cost £40 ($65). It's a camera view of a Police depot, set in 2071. A defensive shield keeps hooligans in or out as needed.
A digital painting which took about 3 days to complete. I used a 3D grey-scale render as a guide for the main shapes. All done in Photoshop CS5. This image is not available to buy as it's copyrighted by the client.
I am currently doing a lot of work for Mek Tek as I am part of the team. The game we are working on is Heavy Gear Assault. This work is great fun and is pushing my skills to the limits. This image will shortly be available in all wallpaper sizes.
Man, I'll just call this one done and move on.. I've been staring myself blind on this one so I have to start something else. It was a welcome break from some of the fantasy stuff I've been doing and I realized I really love doing sci-fi city scapes hah, so much stuff going on! Threw some total recall and Dredd in there because I couldnt resist, hope you like it ^^

Kristen Marx in her Elemental. In the future I'll have to work out an defined look for the progression of Elemental armor designs during it's development in the story, but shown is Marx employing her earlier and more crude abilities. One of the easiest offensive employments of energy shielding is to run the field extremely hot and pass it through the enemy. Shown is a pillar field being extended, appearing as a beam of fire. Also on display is "skating", sliding on a blade of shielding, using the rule of cool technique
Haven't tried this idea out for almost 3 years. An Elemental wearing a soft armor layer to protect areas with sensitive equipment. She deploys inconspicuously with an infantry squad in a low power state. When the need arises all the added gear will be dropped and the shield generators spun up.
