Another day immersed in grey shades..
Done while listening to massive attack..
Something far more oil painting'a'like..
Fr. phalène - moth..
Oh, and I would like my hair like that
Curly and messy at the back..
Hope you will like it..
EDIT >> re-submitted the improved ver of the pic - thanks for your suggestions.
The final version of [link] - a giftart for ..
It's her original character - Kirby Valerian or better said - my interpretation of this chara that seems to be rather totally different from the original xD
However I hope that ~Kordelia will enjoy this one.. However I'm a bit affraid that you will be less satisfied with this version than with the sketch u____u''' And that all my work was pointless..
Try to enjoy this one.
EDIT >> Color scheme - color inspiration (apart from the reds and skin tones) taken from ~rndl's piece -> [link]
Someone mentioned in a comment that you can't use MME effects like Adult Shader on LAT models and this can leave this popular range of MMD models looking a little bleached when used next to models which can take the full effect.
However, there is a workaround and this is explained in this tutorial.

Someone asked for a tutorial about sphere maps, and at the same time I thought it would be worthwhile debunking some of the misinformation that's floating around about what these types of graphics actually are and how they are used.
Image used for example sphere map from wallpapersup.net/ Model used is my own edit of the default Meiko Sakine Errata Made some minor corrections (12/14/2012) Note also that if you're model a PMX model, there are more options with what you can do with a sphere map.
A simple introduction on converting PMD models to PMX standard. Also serves as a general overview of some of the materials handling controls available in the PMD Editor when in PMX editing mode.
In some instances the leg IK structures derp after the conversion. This is due to a failure with the PMD Editor failing to read a script that is required to correctly constrain the leg movements. There are two fixes:
1. For advanced users with a good understanding of Windows:
This is actually the simplest solution. To prevent the error from occurring in the first place, simply correct the title/filename of the script file. It should read: "IK制限角.txt" and the only lines in the file are as follows (verbatim):
|D This tutorial is really just filled with a bunch of pointers... |'D... And if you don't understand my fail explanations, you can always ask and attempt to explain it in a different what (and possibly fail) And This tutorial is so long!
Haven't drawn anything for weeks, been busy w/ school =T_T=
Well, here's Silky my character, I should be adding more effects and stuff to this but I got lazy so I think I will not edit this anymore, and she suppose to be holding something like a sphere w/ a kanji inscribed in it but it looks crappy because I just copied it from a tutorial so I just removed it
I did this sketch almost 8 years ago, and decided it was time to add in some colour
I had inked the original sketch was a caligraphy brush as inking practice. The colours were added using Painter. The background is photomanipulated.
Looks as if she is about to begin seppuku..
You decide! The women in my life can pretty much be both! lol
This started out as an inking practice which then became a painting. Thanks to the kind folks at SGComic for their C+Cs on the original wip
