A lonely spark appears before me tonight
amongst the struggles deep inside of me...
Should I give in, will I breathe in?
How much more can I be forced to take
before my soul breaks?
Shards crashing into me
letting me know I am alive
I am barely breathing...
The moon lights my pathway
deep in dark, where we will fade
I've walked past the archway
Where angels will play...
The warmest touch, upon my skin
Wings that glow with sacred light, from deep within
They have come to take me back, to where I've been
Gone away into the winds, my voice forever lingering
Do I alone escape this and find my peace
without concern for what is left behind
Even if I could close my eyes in endless rest
The thought of you keeps me breathing...
The angel that leads me, deep in dark, where I seem to fade;
The lonely spark that keeps me, is the warmth of your heart...

Enshrouded in an aura of absolute repugnance
As the acid drips from its cruel jaws,

Fearful, he cowers, beneath boxes and cardboard,

It is usually the knight that saves the maiden
But reality is never as sweet as that
And often the truth gets slightly misshapen
But this is a story about the truth;
A tale of Pirates who aided the King
Though most would credit his honoured knights
We know they didn't do a thing...
Instead what happened is an epic story
For it began on a night when the moon was full
The Pirates slipped from their hallowed ship
Like wolves cloaked in wool
They hid amongst the jagged rocks
And called like birds to communicate
The soldiers thought they were hearing things
Until they began to hallunicate...
Visions of frightening ghosts and shades
Covered their eyes and sent them screaming
They clawed at their faces and toppled to the ground;
They woke the camp with their horrid keening
The ground was alive with running footsteps
Yet soldiers began to fall like snow

The ensuing silence was palpable, thick and dense as the steam-filled air that surrounded them. Arthur sat wide-eyed, as frozen as a victim of Medusa, hands clammy around Alfred's face. Alfred could hardly bear to look at him, his shame exemplified by Arthur's muteness. When he woke, for a split second, Arthur had no idea who lay beside him. He was filled with momentary horror at the prospect of removing himself from blissful ignorance, of looking up and seeing the face of someone he loathed. But as his heavy eyes adjusted slowly to the light streaming through the gap in his curtains and flickered upwards, everything came flooding back. Alfred's lips were parted slightly, his face more relaxed than Arthur had ever seen it. Weak with relief, he leaned upwards and gently pecked Alfred's bottom lip, warm and darkened from the night before.
For a moment, he lay contentedly pillowed on Alfred's broad chest, but then noticed the uncomfortable stickiness between his legs and grimaced. His increased awareness brought with it a deep, pleasant ache in his lower back, yet in spite of the pain that was to come, he smiled. It was definit

When Frenchie had called him a 'miserable creature', he had seen a flash of pain in Arthur's face, which was fairly scary, considering that whenever Francis insulted him before, Arthur had merely punched him. Knocking haphazardly, Alfred waited impatiently for the door to open.
Francis fell backwards, clutching his bloody nose as he stared up at America with betrayal in his eyes. Alfred had no sympathy for him.

He had cleaned his whole house from basement to attic, moved all the things he construed as embarrassing into hidey-holes, and had even tried to clean Sir Lancelot, his rather grumpy cat. After Sir Lancelot had almost scratched his face off, Arthur had given up, and began to work on his own appearance. Two hours or so later, he stood in front of a full-length mirror, smiling apprehensively. When he focused in on his reflection, the tentative smile wilted. Though dressed in what he deemed his most fashionable clothes a pair of Dr Denim straight fit chinos, blue shirt, green sweater vest and navy suit jacket he still noticed something lacking. His clothing was perfect; his face wasn't. Melancholy, but still with butterflies fluttering in his stomach, he sat on the sofa and waited.Deliberation Part 4 - FINAL in Short Stories More Like This

Desperation and Realisations - USUK - Part 2 of 2For Alfred, the morning began with no shortage of uncertainty and nervous trepidation. He could see that the light levels had barely changed since the night before, although it was difficult to tell through the heavy, fraying curtains. He wondered how long it had been since Arthur had seen sunlight considering his skin tone, he assumed it had been quite a while. As he waited for Arthur to wake, he scanned the room aimlessly. There was precious little apart from the sofa there just an old rug, a bookshelf, a wall mount displaying a faded and crooked 'Rule Britannia', and finally, a crude series of tally lines on the side wall. Alfred bent his head awkwardly to read the inscription above; 'Annus CCXII'. He cast his mind back to when Arthur had taught him to translate Roman numerals. After a quick calculation, he gasped in horror.Desperation and Realisations - USUK - Part 2 of 2 in Short Stories More Like This

Oh, I would have known,
All Alfred could say was that Arthur was damn lucky he was in the country. He might have been cutting it a bit fine, but he hoped that if he delivered Arthur's invitation to his birthday personally, then he might actually turn up this year. See, Arthur saw these parties as a celebration of Alfred's clean break with him, but it was nothing of the sort. Yes, he was proud of, and valued, his independence, but not because he could snub Arthur with it. Far from it; he could now be seen as his equal. And yet, every year, the invitations were returned unopened, and Arthur went on a week-long bender, culminating in a sobbing phone call, in which he begged an uncomfortable Alfred to come back to him. It wasn't that he didn't like Arthur in fact, his feelings for him were a lot stronger than before the Revolution but Alfred was sure that Arthur just meant to baby him. He

Once inside, Alfred carried Arthur blindly into the lounge, and uncertainly dropped down onto the sofa. In normal circumstances, he would have left by now, but Arthur's grasping hands and uncomplaining demeanour advised him otherwise. Glancing down at the shivering figure with thinly-veiled concern, he realised that Arthur would need a bath to warm up, but judging by the way he clung to Alfred, he wouldn't want to be alone. It was a toss-up between letting Arthur contract pneumonia and being embarrassed, and Alfred decided that the latter was infinitely better. He already felt guilty enough at screaming at him. Besides he would never miss a chance at seeing Arthur naked.
He tugged gently at the sopping sleeve of the man in his lap. At first it seemed as if Arthur wouldn't respond, but then, slowly, he lifted his h
MiscommunicationThere were so many things that Draco disliked in life, but something that really seemed to get under his skin was miscommunication. It didn't bother him too much when it was with people he didn't care about; he got annoyed when it was with his coworkers because it inhibited his ability to do his job properly at times, but mostly, he just didn't care. It was only when it was with someone that he gave a damn for that suddenly, he found himself positively loathing miscommunications.Miscommunication in General Fiction More Like This
Devon and Virgil, luckily, were too simple to ever really cause a misunderstanding, moreso Virgil than Devon. There were times, after all, where the older of the two had said or done something that Draco didn't know how to interpret and in the end, he'd interpreted it wrong and leave Devon confused and himself annoyed. It never caused an argument, or a fight, though, because the younger brunet was too dense to realize he'd even really caused some sort of misunderstanding, and just believed that D

Valentine's Day never used to be important to Hijaku. It was just a day that gave the girls in his class an excuse to leave sickeningly sweet chocolates on his desk, which he always threw away, and to force confessions on him that he didn't want to hear. It seemed like, no matter how many girls he turned down, they never got through their heads that he wasn't even remotely interested in any of their advances. Strangely enough, after he'd started dating Virgil, the girls only seemed to increase their attempts at gaining his affections, something that his logical mind couldn't comprehend. Why would any of them believe that he'd go for them when he had someone far cuter, far sweeter, and much more important already? Hijaku simply didn't understand the females at his school.
Luckily, this year Valentine's Day was on a Sunday, so he didn't have to contend with any of the girls who would usually

Feelings are such an odd thing for Draco. For such a long time he believed he didn't even have them. If he had to put them to a timeline, when he felt and when he was sure he didn't, whom he felt for and the rest of the world, it would look something like this:
Up until age five, he loved his mother. Then he watched his father shoot her and himself; this was the first time his feelings 'broke'.
The next four years he spent in foster care, getting beaten and starved and told he was worthless; he felt nothing but contempt and began to solidify the belief that human lives meant nothing.
Age nine. The most peculiar, when he'd actually begun to feel something for a human being that wasn't simply anger or annoyance. That same human being, his then foster father, had shattered that when he raped him and made him feel so many horrible things that Draco never wanted to feel again. After

That was what she said. That was where it all ended. Or where it all began, depending on which way you looked at it.
“This just… isn’t working. I mean-… Listen-… I love you. I’m never going to say that I don’t, but-…”
It was already over, and he knew it.
It wasn’t the first time he’d dealt with a breakup, but it was the first time that it hurt.
Dreyden Blazer hadn’t had a single thing ever turn out right in his life. Twenty-five years of absolute failure, constant disappointment, and an impressive amount of rotten luck.
That was just life, as far as he was concerned.
Ever since he was born, Dreyden believed, it had always been his destiny to be nothing more than a screw-up. Because that’s what he was: a mistake.
His brother was the one they wanted. Brian was the good child. Brian was the successful one. He was thirty-two now; handsome, muscular- and everythin

Dreyden could feel his eyelids getting a little heavy as the song played. He had always been a fan of the Beatles, of course (Who hadn’t?) but this song in particular always made him feel sleepy.
It was a good sort of tiredness, however. It was a sort of wonderful relaxation, unlike the exhausted collapse into sleep that usually happened when he went to bed. A real feeling of peace came over him. For once, he wasn’t worried about his job, or his money, or his apartment, or… anything.
He felt like… maybe, for once, nothing was going to change.

Dreyden looked around in confusion. Everywhere he looked, there were just more trees, and everything looked the same. He couldn’t even hear the river anymore.
Well… Here I am, lost in the backwoods of nowhere, without a cell phone, and without half a clue where the hell I am. Dreyden thought bitterly.
What to do?
He realized he still had the stone Shuri had given him, but he’d never used it before. Besides, what would he say?
Hey, I’m an idiot and got myself lost the first time I tried to leave your house, what do I do?
He wouldn’t be able to describe the place he was at all; everything in this forest looked the same. He supposed he’d just keep walking.
As he walked further, he realized it was starting to get dark. What time was it? He didn’t even know what time it had been when he’d left.

Some days she would stop by and make food that she would share; she would cook fish or make scones, or sometimes shortbread cakes filled with apricot or cranberry. They were always very simple meals and desserts, but they were very good and Dreyden was glad for them.
She didn’t talk much, and neither did he, but he liked her company anyway. After a short time she asked about his family, and whether he was making friends in town (he avoided giving an answer to that question) and whether he’d found another job yet.
He hadn’t, but he told her he was planning on starting up his search again soon.

A tree had fallen in the woods, and killed a young man who had been walking there.

He kept thinking about Gavin and Kayzee, no matter how much he tried to push it out of his mind.
He had thought that Gavin’s surprise kiss had meant something- or if not that, maybe all those nights they’d just gotten lost in music together and fallen asleep there- or all those long conversations they’d had, all the things Gavin told him before- everything Dreyden had confided to him- had all of that meant nothing?
But then again, Dreyden thought, Kayzee meant a lot to Gavin too. He’d known Kayzee longer. They were close to begin with, and even if Dan thought it’d never really happen- maybe Kayzee finally had got the nerve up to tell Gavin the truth, and maybe that was all it took.
He tried not to be bitter at them.

He stayed in the motel until he managed to find the cheapest apartment complex in town, with one opening he could afford on the minimal budget his father had left him with, and the little income he had once he’d found a small family owned diner just desperate enough to hire him as a dish washer.
“Here I am…” Dreyden said to no one, flopping over on the bare lumpy mattress in his tiny, depressing excuse for an apartment. “A dish washer living in one ugly little room in the most run-down complex in this middle ‘a nowhere town with nothin’ left to live for. There were a number of homeless people in town already, and he didn’t particularly stand out.
His one fear was that someone he knew would find him- what would Gavin say if he found out?

"You finally arrived Daray. Please! Take a seat." He gestured at a cushioned wooden stood that stood at his side. Daray dragged it over, sitting down quickly. Cal disappeared into the maze of shelves and brick-a-brac, leaving the two alone.
"So, why do you want me?" Daray asked, fiddling with the end of her plait. Henry laughed, pouring a silvery liquid into a test tube.
"Why do I want you?" He chuckled. "Well, you survived the smells."
"Because that sound plausible. " Daray said. "But what do you mean?"
Henry reached under his desk, pulling out another bottle before replying.
"Daray, you must realize I do many areas of work in this shop."
"That would explain the mess, yes." Daray replied. Henry ignored the remark, continuing.
"Art is only one of the interests I have, and a minor one at that. The only reason I even continue with art is b
Paint - Part 4When Cal arrived with a platter of pineapple, he found Daray studying the painting on the wall. Slowly, she reached up, and with one finger, she slowly ran her finger across the dried paint. Over the woman, over the father, over the babe that lay in the woman's arm. Over the trees that dotted the landscape like stars in a midnight sky. And over the wolf that lurked in the depths, its eyes feasting hungrily on the baby. Cal smiled.Paint - Part 4 in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"It's pretty, isn't it?" He said. Startled Daray flew back against the wall. Her hand hit the wall, knocking the painting onto the bed with a mightly crash. Cal was by her side in an instant,
"You alright?" Cal asked, moving the painting aside. Daray nodded, heart fluttering in her chest like a trapped bird.
"Good." Cal grinned. "Now, if you excuse me, I need to hang this up before Henry eats me alive."
"He does that?" Daray said, thinking back to the many time's his roar echoed over the city. Cal laughed.
"As far as I know, no. " He smoothed back his

"So be it." Cal nodded. Instantly, he broke into a run, Daray right on his tail.
As the ice cream parlor came into sight, Daray turned watchful, scanning all the people that she passed. A red jacket, black hair, dark sunglasses She knew Robyn had to be around here somewhere. He wasn't easy to miss. Well not to Daray anyway. Vee would probably be with him. Find Robyn, find Vee. It never worked the other way around.
"I can't see them." Cal said. "There's nobody around. If they came out in the open, we would have seen them by now."
"It doesn't make sense." Daray sighed. "I was positive they would be around here."
Suddenly, somebody pounced on top of Cal, knocking him to the floor. They tumbled and rolled for a few solid minutes, while Daray tried to part the Cal from the stranger with little success.
"Give back the money you bastard!" The man yelled. "Give it here!"

The blonde screeched across the alley way. "Just look at yourself missy!"
"Who are you calling missy?" A girl strided out from the crowd. "And for your information, I'm perfectly fine. I'm healthy. I'm normal-"
"How can a freak like you be normal?" The catty girl swung her hips, showing everybody how her skirt had been pulled up way too high. The boys behind her ogled the blonde's butt. Her perfect butt. The one that everybody talked about, and basically what had started this whole conversation.
"Why would I want to be normal if normal isyou?" The red head stretched out the final word, flicking her plait over her shoulder.
"Because normal people have lives. They live with their parents. They dress according to their gender. You on the other hand, don't understand any of those things. But after all, mentally unstable people such as yourself must find it so hard to cope with normal society."
Fire flared in the tomboy's eyes. She suddenly rushed at th

"Give me some time!" She yelled back, staggering to her feet. "If you haven't noticed, I'm not Super Woman! I haven't eaten for at least a day, and I stink!"
"Just keep moving." Henry growled.
Tired and grumpy, Daray stumbled to her feet. She had a murderous look in her eyes, but she hung limply, almost like a rag doll. And indeed she had the strength of one she looked only moments away from collapsing.
The two entered a room that looked like the set of something out of a horror movie. There were containers and jars of liquids scattered all over the back bench. Pointy objects stuck out of the drawers underneath, and the very thought of them made Daray's skin crawl. In the middle of the large room lay an operating table.
"Get on." Henry said. Daray's jaw dropped.
"You have got to be kidding me." She said.
"Does this face look like it's kidding Daray?" Henry said. "Get on the table." Cal appeared again, wielding a

"Coffee?" Kelly asked, making her way over to the kitchen.
"Quickly." Daray replied, collapsing in one of the giant armchairs. "I feel like I'm going to collapse myself."
"You seem like it." Kelly laughed. "Big day, huh?"
"Big day and night." Daray sighed over the whistle of the kettle. "I feel as if I haven't slept at all-" She stopped mid sentence to yawn, which made Kelly giggle.
"Yet you were sleeping all afternoon."
"Which was what an hour?" Daray shook her head. "It doesn't really work, does it?"
"What do you mean?" Kelly said.
"I've been awake for at least twenty four hours, yet only sleep for one. Doesn't really make up, does it?"
Kelly shrugged, handing Daray her coffee.
"Hey, at least you were there for him. And me." Daray took a long gulp of the coffee, which was already quite cool.

"I'm not exactly sure " He replied, his eyes firmly on the ground where his sneaker clad feet slapped the ground.
"Oh, because that's really encouraging Cal." Daray said. "That's just dandy isn't it?"
"Not the time Daray." Cal said. Daray rolled her eyes.
"What are you looking for anyway?" Daray asked. Cal ignored her, his eyes firmly set on the concrete running underneath his feet. Daray asked again.
"A clue " Suddenly they stopped, right in the middle of the alley.
"What are we doing here?" Daray said.
"We're here." Cal replied. "This is where I'm meeting him."
"Who's him?" Daray asked, playing with the tip of her plait. "And why here? It's just an alley." Cliff chuckled, smoothing back his mottled hair.
"This is not just an alley Daray." Cal grinned. "It is so much more than that. Or it will be in a moment. Just trust me."He grinned, showing off his sharp teeth.

It took Daray a moment to realise that one simple truth. So plain, so small, so simple. But to Daray, it was as if all her birthdays had come at once. Another day to run about! Another day to fight! Another day to feel air in her chest, and her heart beating in her ears!
Then she realised there was no heart beat.
"My heart." Daray breathed, edging a finger up to her chest. The muscles seemed so stiff... Surly she had only been out a couple of hours? "Why can't I hear it?" She could feel the air rushing through her chest, feel her muscles groan as they stretched, It was as if she had been sleeping the rest of the dead. Her finger lay over her heart, and she couldn't tell each second apart. It seemed like forever she lay there, hoping she had just missed it. She moved her fingers down to her wrist, praying it was she had just been looking in the wrong place. But still her veins lay dead. Dead, yet still warn.
"Am I still alive?" Daray said, and the words echoed

"So how exactly are we going to pull this off Cal? I doubt you can just wave your hands and poof us into the city."
"True that." Cal nodded. "But I do have the next best thing." He opened a cupboard beside him, pulling out a sheet and a balloon. "Ta daa!"
"Wow. A sheet." Daray said. "What are we gonna do Whack him with a balloon and hang him with his own washing?"
Cal put his face in his hands, making a long dramatic sigh as he did so.
"Just watch and learn." Cal said, smiling at Daray.
Quickly he stuffed the sheet under the bed covers, curling it up to look like a sleeping body. Throwing the balloon underneath and ruffling up the blankets, Cal stepped back from his work. "See? I told you it would work."
"So Obvious " Daray muttered under her breath. "Alright, let's go before the Mad Scientist eats us alive."

"Patience Taylor." Henry said, cleaning the needle. "She might not necessarily be dead."
"What planet do you live on?" Taylor said. "Where I come from, no pulse means no life."
"Yes, yes, you don't think I already know Taylor?" He said. "But you see, we are playing with forces that rule beyond the grave. Just because she has not heart beat may not mean she's dead. We may be able to turn her into something with no pulse."
"Well, who would want that?" Taylor said, pacing the room. "Why would you want to have no pulse?" Taylor threw his hands up in the air. "I mean, you wouldn't be human! You wouldn't be normal!" Henry laughed, and the sound was not that of the old man he was. It was something deeper, darker, and possibly evil.
"Oh Taylor." He grinned. "You may have no pulse, but who wouldn't want to life forever? See the future from your own e
Fish Legs - 1It was around midnight as the proud captain let his legs dangle over the edge of his vessel, staring down into the water which cradled his ship like an infant against its mother's breast. He let out a short sigh as he stared down into the waters, feeling nostalgic.Fish Legs - 1 in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
However, his water had been disturbed. By the creak of a ship a little form found himself gazing upward towards the partly clouded sky. Rays of moonlight were sore to him; he wasn't at all used to the surface. But conversing with the blob-fish down below had become a bore for the once sunken cabin boy. He could see two feet hover some distance above the water and he crept upwards to take a closer look. The crown of his head poked out of the swaying waves; though he dared not move further yet.
Little henna tattoos decorated the soles of the man on the surface’s feet as they hung overboard, intricate and flowery designs crawled up his ankles and separated into little speckles and dots. He looked mighty bored and had no s

"Listen kid, I just wanted to bang you." He scoffs, almost in a laugh. I couldn't believe that it was the same voice that comforted me softly, saying it wouldn't hurt as he stole my innocence away from me.
I feel the tears come on, but everything else in me is numb. There is a lump in my throat, and I can't speak. It doesn't matter though, since I have no words to say. Without another word, he just walks away. It can't be though. I want to reach out and grab his shirt, maybe pull him back into my world.
"No!" I suddenly yelp. And he turns back. That moment right there was the last time I remember even seeing him. His blonde hair falling ever so perfectly in
Black Rabbit - fourteenThe thing he remembered most about her was her long blonde locks of hair that draped down her back and sat propped upon her shoulders. The way it caught the rays of sunrise, glowing with an almost pink hue against the morning lights and long shadows. He could remember how much his father loved her hair and nearly cried when she had cut it to her shoulders, it used to be longer at one point- but those memories were fuzzy now. The recollection of his father twisting the ringlets of gold in his fingers as he held her in an embrace, whispering little sweet nothings into her ear before he’d go off to work and leave her with the baby.Black Rabbit - fourteen in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
He could also remember her eyes vividly; he could never let those gems slip from his memory for they were also his eyes- light blues with a dark blue splotch circling the iris. Casey was absolutely shocked by what he saw, but he didn't yell or anything. Instead, he just hurried inside the closet and shut the door behind him. At this point the slut didn't really know what to do. His better judgment had flown out the window long ago even though he wasn't all that drunk. And in this situation, he didn't really know what to do other than take advantage. Plus, Shiloh probably wouldn't even remember in the morning. Without a second thought, Casey pinned the blindfolded boy against the free wall of the cluttered closet, going to suck and bite at his neck roughly. It was almost like Casey was on ecstasy; everything about Shiloh was just so soft. The pale flesh of his neck was like baby's skin against Casey's rough, chapped lips and teeth yellowed from smoking.
Shiloh sucked in a breath, his muscles tensing once the rough mouth made contact- toes curling in tightly on the thin carpet. This was surely not the type of surprise that he'd had in mind. Though he honestly h
Black Rabbit - Part elevenNearly a month had passed and not many visits were made really.Black Rabbit - Part eleven in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
It was early December now and Shiloh had been at the library daily. Going there in the early morning and leaving in the late evening; studying had become a crucial thing for him ever since his auntie had come home for November and left a few days before now. She's always been so stern and concrete when it came to the boy's schooling and education. It took about fifteen minutes to get at least halfway home from the now closed library, which was cozy and an old white building, at least in daylight. Now, it would have looked more like a ghost house.
Shiloh said goodbye to the librarian before he left, his caution sign messenger bag shouldered and his mittens pulled over his dainty little fingers as he began walking home, hesitantly. It was soon too dark for him to see the ground anymore, and he could feel little droplets of water sprinkling down onto him. But he didn't take too much heed to it, just water.
Casey, of course, w
Black Rabbit - Part eightThe morning light filtered through the soft baby blue curtains and cast a warm light across the cozy bedroom and onto the bed that usually just had one pink topped boy curled up innit. But this morning, a snake bitten rabbit held him close as they both slept ever so soundly. Unlike every other time that Casey woke up with a boy in the same bed, this was a pure, sweet kind of cuddle. As they lay there sleeping, Shiloh had his face pressed into Casey's chest, and the raven's face was submerged in Shiloh's soft, candy hair. Eventually, the taller of the two slowly came to. He looked up to the window, and then back down to what he had just brought his face up from. When he saw it was Shiloh though, his emerald eyes widened slowly and in one swift movement, he rolled out of the bed.Black Rabbit - Part eight in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Fish Legs - 2Rupert had spent most of the day wondering up and down the ship, curiosity filling his seasalt brain. He'd only really seen the Captains' cabin, and doubted that anything that was really meant to be hidden away would ideally be there. Everything struck interest to him, and when he found that Daniel wasn't too busy with the others on board, he'd scurry over and ask him questions eagerly. Everything was just so new and interesting to him. They'd be in port around late evening, and the crew was eager to feel soil beneath their boots and whores in their arms. Well.. all but Daniel; he was far too interested in seeing Rupert's reaction to land and civilization. It's not that the cheeky captain had anything against land or whores or even plant life, but he was a man of the sea and would never dream of residing inland for more than a few days.Fish Legs - 2 in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Black Rabbit - Part tenAfter a little while of talking with the angsty and peculiar teenager, Annie just shrugged it off and let him be. She could tell that he was nervous around her, though she'd keep a close eye on them anyways; she was like a bear watching over her baby. In this case, Shiloh was her baby.Black Rabbit - Part ten in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Shiloh was still hanging onto Casey's waist like a koala, face nuzzled into his shirt. He was still out like a light.
Casey immediately calmed down once Annie walked off. His heart was racing and his palms were sweating badly. It was a wonder the sound of his heart didn't wake Shiloh up. This was far from the first time Casey ran into parents though, and definitely not the most awkward. Once, when he was trying to escape from a house after a night of fun, he was forced to sit and have a cup of coffee by his partner's dad while they went on and on about the "beauty of mars". He just pulled Shiloh a little closer after she left and tried to calm down. The boy probably wasn't going to wake up for a while, a
Black Rabbit - Part four"Out! Everyone out!" Casey yelled from the top of the stairs. He was absolutely pissed at himself. This whole thing was a stupid idea. Not only did he jeopardize his best and only friendship, but Shiloh's house was absolutely trashed. Of course, no one could really hear him over the music, so the teen had to use force. He roughly pushed people out of the way of the stereo, and abruptly turned it off. "I SAID EVERYONE FUCKING OUT. NOW." he screamed.Black Rabbit - Part four in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
With grunts and complaints, most of the teenagers left, but Casey then had to go upstairs and chase some kids out of bedrooms and bathrooms. Once the house was completely empty except for Shiloh and himself, Casey let himself fall on the couch. He was riddled with regret and guilt, and the dark thoughts began to creep back into his mind. He wanted to die for what he did to Shiloh, even though he had done much worse before. "I can't believe I did that to Shiloh. MY Shiloh." Casey muttered to himself, rubbing his eyes. But it took him a second
Black Rabbit - Part fiveThe school courtyard only had about a dozen other students. Just mucking about; talking about their general idiotic things that went right over Shiloh's head as he wandered over to one of the few trees and sat in the grass beneath it. Blades of grass folding awkwardly and brushing against his puffy checkered pants. He hadn't seen his friend much today and it was already lunch hour. The boy never really realized just how lonely school was till today since they'd normally spent nearly all of their time together. Though there were some times that Casey would go off without saying why or where Shiloh never really questioned it though.Black Rabbit - Part five in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
