I guess its every child's dream to become an astronaut and reach for the stars. I know I do. But I found myself being an artist instead and now, I paint my dreams out for everyone to see.

A take on the White Queen from Alice in Wonderland

A young queen, the eldest of two - so much expected of her. Always having to smile and 'play' the powerfull yet gracefull leader, her parents and everyone expected.

Makes me wonder how her life must have been as a child.

I finally listened to a friend and gave in - so here is a really old image that was done for fun.

I love this character from the white monk-cut and turtle helmet to the rubber ducky and bendy straw madness!

Original this image was done in Illustrator and then later I found I wanted to make it more painterly and so photoshop won.

Took me forever to decide how to display this darn thing... ehhehe... the shirt is kind of in the way, but.. it's not really covering that much. I'm calling this CMYK cause it reminds me of colors you'd find in a printer. hha

Shot in Skagen, at the very north tip of Denmark. Kudos to =Nullermanden who brought the chair along the beach and then volunarily took off his shoes, waded into the freezing water and sat down. All I had to do was set up the tripod and shoot.

Ink drawing colored digitally.

When I think something scary lurking in my bedroom, I think spirits who haven't yet moved on to the other side. This is more real to me than any other abnormal creature and that is why I depicted my interpretation this way: A spirit lurking over a child, protecting it maybe? or waiting for a chance to take her away with her.

*phew* this took me a while ^^
I restartet painting several times during the creation process... ( damn you perfectionist in me!! )

all in all it took about... 10 h to finish i guess, mostly the last night and some refining today, done completely in photoshop.
