Rise of the Guardians, sortaKIDS!” I yelled upstairs “It snowed!” “YAY!” all three of them rushed down the stairs to the door “wait guys!” I laughed “you need to wear your jackets, if you don’t your parents will kill me” “But Gemma” Jamie whined, “Do we have to?” “Yes you do!” I said bringing out all three jackets “Jack Frost will want to play with you guys” “Whose Jack Frost?” said Ella “You don’t know who Jack Frost is?” I asked, the two out of the three kids shook their heads, I thought I heard a sigh and whipped around to find nothing behind me but a beautiful frost design on the window, “well kids” I began as I traced the design with a finger “Jack Frost is the one who brings us the beautiful snow and ice” “but how Gemma?” Ava asked “do you want to hear his story?” I softly whispered, “Yes! The Day I met a Guardian Chapter 2As I walked back into the classroom I kept looking at the necklace the boy had given to me. I kept thinking about what he meant " You got every single detail right," then I remembered the first graders saying the character I named Frost was Jack Frost. Then it all finally clicked into place, the mysterious boy was Jack Frost. The Day I met a Guardian Chapter 2 in Settings More Like This
After school was over I started walking home.
"So did you figure out who I am?".
I turned around and saw him and said " I sure did Jack Frost".
He smiled and responded " Now you see why I was shocked that you could see me?".
"Yeah, I guess you don't really see that many thirteen year olds that still believe.".
Jack walked with me the rest of the way home. He told me what it was like being a guardian. When we finally got to my

Early BirdsIt was three in the morning when the phone rang, or at least around that time as far as Tommaso was concerned. It wasn't until a few minutes later that the bedraggled man actually crawled out bed after much encouragement from his wife's feet, which constantly kicked him mischievously in the small of his back until he conceded defeat and rolled off the bed and onto the floor. She snorted derisively when he grunted, the hollow sound of his face coming in contact with the floor meeting her ears.Early Birds in Short Stories More Like This
"If you want me to kiss your nose better," she called over her shoulder, head still nestled against the pillow where she lay, "You can forget it unless you answer that phone. And try to do it before the kids wake up; if I have to get up to calm a crying Luca you can forget about it as well."
"A wife is the harshest boss I ever had," Tommy muttered under his breath as he dragged himself upright and staggered to the door, though he was unable to suppress a small chuckle when a pillow flew across the

I sighed and walked along the empty night road. There weren't many people out tonight. Often, I stopped by every house and looked through the window. I watched as the kids would run to the window and draw over the frost I had put there. I looked down at them, keeping my watch on their smiles, but what really wanted to see was their eyes. I longed for theirs to meet mine. But every time I saw a kid, they never saw me.
I took a break from looking into the houses and just continued to walk on. I need to clear my head. I stopped walking, and hit my staff against the ground. Frost began to crawl from it and it slid down the road. The frost hardened under my feet, and I wiggled my toes at the feel of it. I smiled to myself and pushed my foot down and off against the iced floor. My other foot sled smoothly forward.
Then, I did the same with my sliding foot. Gently pushing off and swiftly skating along the road. I chuckled and stopped before breaki

The daughter of life
His eyes dark cold and icy
Hers light and airy
Light flickers through
Enhancing her innocence
Darkness surrounds him
Shielding his heart
What happens when these two cross?
The king of death and the daughter of life
Does she wither and wait
to accept her fate
or does she warm his shielded heart?
What happens when these two fall in love?
Can happiness reside where light cannot?
or will it slowly flicker away until it is no more
and give into the darkness around her?
They say even the smallest bit of light
Will shine in the darkness
Until it finally gives in
and flickers away
So what will happen
When she finally gives up
and fades away
Will he want her then?
or toss her away?
No one knows
Not one can say
What will happen

I love Christmas even more.
With candy canes, presents and magic galore.
Because of the Tooth Fairy,
I love brushing my teeth,
I rinse, I repeat and floss underneath.
Because of Bunnymund,
Easter is great,
Colourful eggs and on a wonderful date.
Because of the Sandman,
My dreams are so dear,
I fly so high with the moon so near.
Because of Jack Frost,
Winter is a breeze,
Snow on the ground and no leaves on the trees.
Because of Pitch,
The Nightmare King,
I'm absolutely scared of nearly everything.
Because of the Guardians,
From New Years to Christmas Eve,
Even though I get older,
I still believe.
