I remember it like it was yesterday. The evening started out just as any evening before. A simple dinner of chicken and noodles, a glass of water, and then a nice rest on the couch while watching television. It was a simple life but it was one I cherished with every fiber of my being since the day I started to live it.
You see, I am a cat, born and bred as nothing more than an ordinary house cat, but to my dear Millie I was more than just a cat, I was her best friend.
She had named me Thomas. I don't know why she'd chose then name as it was nothing near my real name- 'Feather' which my own mother had given to me on the day of my birth. However, as I'd lived with Millie for nearly 5 cat years (35 in human years) I'd come to learn that humans cannot understand or speak cat tongue anymore than we cats can speak human words.
