The Toymaker...Ah my dear, how are you feeling?The Toymaker... in Free Verse More Like This
Not too uncomfortable I hope...
You see, you are another,
A wondrous being, handpicked by me,
For you are perfect.
Before you start screaming,
Before all that noise and unpleasantry befouls these soft red lips.
I've taken the liberty of removing your tongue...
Wag, wag, wag;
That's all it was doing when I extracted it.
Like some, infectious insect
But oh, I shouldn't raise my voice.
That's not very proper of me, hehe.
Now, let's put some markings on you.
Mmm - I'm going to have to get rid of all this, excess.
You see, I can't have a toy that's all bulging in the wrong places.
Dolls are slim, dolls are pretty.
So no, we can't have that...
We'll just slowly slide this tiny slip of metal.
Shlip, shlop, shlip, shlop - and pull!
You see, you see?
It comes right off, like a laye
Heavy StressI seem to be awake at nightHeavy Stress in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
For my mind is rushing on
The stress will always haunt me
Into the hours of the morn
I've never been a nervous man
But some nights I need to think
I find myself so filled with stress
I seek the bathroom sink
Out it goes
And chokes the nose
The dizzying thoughts of this bitter stress
Forgive me mother, I can't be the best...

HeroHero:Hero in Free Verse More Like This
I stand upon the highest mountain
And call to the clouded sky.
I can hear the murmurs of heaven
As the light begins to die.
The world we used to believe in;
Once filled with the flowers to bloom.
Is now caged by its own animosity;
Like a twisted asylum room...
How long do we have to stand here
Pleading to the ignorant skies?
We can scream with all of our voices
But the heavens turn their eyes...
I'm afraid that waiting for a hero
Is simply not going to do.
Because love alone won't save us;
And I think you know that too...
Some things we have to fight for;
We cannot build on broken stone.
We must start by returning to origin;
And then we begin to atone.
Instead of hurting in hollows
Let us rise on eagle's wings.
I'd love to hear the song again;
The one that angels sing...
"To move along from where we used to be;
It is the heart we must try to find.
It may not be the heart of a hero;
But I think it will do this time..."
"If the world isn't endi
Shot to HellShot to Hell:Shot to Hell in Free Verse More Like This
You know, I should probably be angry about all this
I mean, I am dead after all...
Still, I suppose there could be worse things in life
Of course, it did hurt you know; when you shot me
Oh my god! I thought I've just been shot!
The bleeding wasn't the worst part of the ordeal though
Instead, the worst part of entire situation was the feeling of slowly dying
the feeling of losing the life inside your body...
Some might say that it feels like being buried in a blizzard
but for me, it was more like jumping head first into an icy sea
I couldn't move and I couldn't speak...
all I could do was to simply hang there limp and wait for the water to fill my lungs
All of a sudden, quick as a flash, I ended up here
here in this realm of flames and smoke, dust and death, desolation and sorrow...
As the pillars of fire reached for the sky, I found myself drifing down
deep into the depths of this realm, like a cartridge spent from a gun
At first, I was confuse
Dragon BloodForged from the souls of the bravest of menDragon Blood in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
They are tempered in the flames of eternal war
Ever will they stand against the tides of evil
For the dark shall claim no more
In the burning mountains of the Dragonkin
It is Man who swore a sacred oath
For in exchange for the Dragon's blood
Man must now protect them both
I speak of the legends; these Gods of battle
Warriors clad in suits of steel
They come as champions of a greiving world
And all shall learn to kneel
But not in supplication, nor out of dominance
We kneel in reverence of the bringers of light
These warriors imbued with the Eternal Flame
Shall chase the shadows of night
No more will the creatures of the swirling Nether
Defile the stability of our hearts and our homes
Today we stand as men of freedom
For our lives are now our own
Yet this is also a sombre day
One that is marked by the scar of grief
For some have not survived the change
But at least their pain was brief
But think not of
Rest My Sweetest DarlingSweetest little dragon child, with a tiny broken wingRest My Sweetest Darling in Free Verse More Like This
For you it is a solemn song that we are made to sing.
Your parents fought to save you, but here it is you lie
My sweetest little dragon child, why did you have to die?
There are no words to capture grief, nor the mourning in our hearts
I never thought that we were meant to be easily torn apart...
No pain in life could have ever prepared us, for the pain we faced today
My child I wish you could hear the words that we truly long to say
We wish we could have taught you, about the flowers in the spring
We wish we could have showed you, the homes of our kin...
We wish we could have loved you, and watched you fly away
But in this cold and clammy cave is where you have to stay
We'll lay you down to rest for now, so just dream of better times
Your mother and I will be the ones to atone for our crimes
Sleep for now and rest yourself for you needn't ever rise
We will stay and watch you drift away, before our very eyes...

Who was I to question you to start?
My reflection now we split apart.
Hate the way your looking at my pain;
I hid my tears in the falling rain.
Forget the way I thought I used to be
I see the man now he isn't me.
He's like a ghost with a shaken past
I don't know how he's gonna last.
Sometimes I feel like I'm giving in
I hit the bottle full of naked sin.
I try to lose the hell I'm living in
But now I'm stuck with my only friend.
I spent nights on the window pane
Look at families playin' family games
Wonder why I'm stickin' outside;
I'm just a monster on the inside...
What happened to the dream I used to feel?
It's like I pushed away the better deal.
I feel the calls of my bitter vice
Spend my nights with a blunt knife...
I used to carve on my dirty skin
I used to feel like I was cleaner then.
Because the only time I feel alive
Is when I let my body take a dive...
The only addicition I could control...

The Feelings That LingerThe Feelings That Linger:The Feelings That Linger in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
The sound of your voice still lingers here
Even though I know you're gone...
And my nights have turned to sleepless days;
They grow worse with every dawn...
You've probably heard this story though
At least a thousand times or more.
But the thing I remember best about her
Is the sound of that closing door...
It was like the end to everything;
A cloud inside my head.
When I came awake on that final night;
I reached for her in bed-
But an empty space was all I got;
There was no one to wipe these tears.
I could scream and cry for many hours;
But it wouldn't chase my fears.
I tried so hard to tell myself
That everything would be alright.
But instead I ended up reminsicing
About her ever-present light...
I'm just so tired of everything;
I wish I didn't have to think...
But maybe you'll hear me one last time;
If I put this down in ink:
We had a life that was beautiful
Wings of DespairWings of Despair:Wings of Despair in Free Verse More Like This
A momentary glance toward the birds in the sky;
Makes me feel like I am soaring; with a hope to fly.
But the chilling winds that wrap me, reflect the cold of this day
And the icy frost that batters me, chips me away...
It drains the very breath from me, as though the ice is locked within
I feel my hope is fading again; like a jar of captured wind...
Where once my will was strong and boundless; now it sits on broken wastes
I must admit this crushing despair, it feels as bad as it tastes....
From the moment that I acquired them, these were ugly tattered wings
They were made from my despair, and bound in bitter strings....
Like permanent fixtures, of sorrows and tears;
They are laced with poison, and embedded fears....
On the edge of my sanity, I hear the voices keening;
These are lives that are lost while the creature is breathing...
It's a snippet of darkness, a shard of me!
A hidden part that you will never se

Molten lava would burst from these wounds, as his wings eclisped the shimmering stars...
The Great Drake Serogar, once laid to rest in the warm womb of Gaia
Had once again awakened, to discipline those who had earned his ire.
Humans and Dragons were killing each other, senselessly bathing in the coldest of blood
Yet all their efforts amounted to nothing and opened the gates for a terrible flood...
For in the realms of the Nether; where the creatures drank of the dark well of Midnight
A rift had been torn of violence and hatred, spawning the children of Blight.
The demonkin arose from this artificial scar, fueled only by their need to destroy
The forces of darkness laughed at us blatantly, for this had been their devious ploy!
Serogar shook his head and cried piteously, for this was not the world of which he had dreamed
He roared defiantly at the creatures of darkness and met them bravely as he screamed:
