Electric Locomotive CP 5614 | Intercidades Train Nr. 512(Guarda-»Lx-SA) | Place: Lisboa-Oriente Train Station - Portugal | Day: 05-04-12

I liked this photo very much, and its a first I have used such angle/place at Oriente... It had to be since the locomotive had shadows while stopped inside the station. And for a little curiosity aspect, this same consist had gone up to Guarda in the morning on the IC 511, here's the photo: [link]
So now, here is it comming back from Guarda, now heading go the last stop: Santa Apolónia.

A regular cemment freight train passes through Granja with CP 5627 on the front! Its always nice to catch freighters with a CP 5600 on the front. Also, this freighter was way more cooler back then when it was hauled by a pair of CP 2600/2620s and the consist was about twice bigger! Unfortunatly I don't have photos of that. :/

Those little cool surprises of a regular day that you have a special train coming through. For our luck, this one was being hauled by one English Electric! We would be expecting probably something more boring like an electric loco... But once again, not even the rain ruin the plans. I went there to see what was going on and there it was, a special movement to take that little inspection/crane unit from Ferrovias to a station on the north main line.
