Hmmm..I'm soo annoyed right now,I have to get up at half 5 am for uni so I can catch the train, but this morning when I woke up my shoulder blade had locked itself really bad and I struggled to stand straight. I was all ready to go to get my train and it got worse so I decided not to go in cause it was really painful so instead I went back to bed to try and make it better, which it did. But now my mom says I was lying and that was not an excuse to miss Uni and I never EVER SKIP UNI! I have some friends on here who can agree with that, which go to the same Uni. not complaining about these at all I'm really happy with these grades and, after all, they're not the whole percentage of the subject and I still have another year...
BUT...
Geography... well... I got a D. Now a D isn't bad, but I've been consistantly and easily getting A's for the whole year with a few A*'s and 1 or 2 B's... so for me, D is, well...
... very unexpected, especially as I revised hard and generally thought the exam went really well ... which just means I suppose, I've either made a drastically fatal mistake somewhere: eg- missed some pages or major points or... there's been a mix up or something of the like... Obviously I can't make any judgement right now as I haven't got my paper back. But .. it really shook me. As I said I've always enjoyed and been good at geography and often found some parts easy.

I watched today on of the greatest concerts off all times:AC DC - Live At River Plate -Black Ice World Tour- FULLHD.
I think it was held in December 2009 in Buenos Aires (Argentina). It made me remember their concert in Belgrade on 26 May 2009 (oh, how good that was).
Back to today, I enjoyed the best band of the planet (may be not only on our planet) for two hours, by playing it on my big-screen TV

Last week I was at The Gadget Show Live (For anyone from outside the UK, it's a big tech exhibition) all week, and am still drained of any energy, mental or physical. Which of course, means that right now is the perfect time for my dad to tell me that he might be moving back to Australia, and wants to know if I'm coming with him.Dammit in Personal More Like This
I don't want to, I mean I've got the next year or so planned out, and rough idea for the three years after that, as well as all of my friends, my girlfriend, and we'd be leaving really soon (Like June-ish). Next week is the final deadline for the entirety of my coursework for two subjects. The week after that, I'm at Gadget Show Live, showing off mobile digital art. This is fecking huge, and I'll tell you more about it at some point, but I can tell it's going to drain me for a while.

Back Again from HospitalYes I know it seems I've been in Hospital these last few months more than I've been home & that's right--this time I spent another week in there & I had to have more surgery--I have a large sernoma--fluid buildup---& now a 12 inch circular channel about as thick as a golfball running from My surgery scar under the surface of My belly to the source of My sernoma--inserted in this channel is a piece of open holed foam rubber & capped with a piece of tubing connected to a Vacpack--a Vacpack is a rechargeable battery powered vac that draws the fluid from My body into a cartridge that once fillled is changed--over the next few months this channel will heal from the bottom up & the fluid will be removed--I'm going to have to carry this vacpack with Me everywhere so I'll be getting a Manbag to carry it--it has a battery life of 6 hours so I'll still be able to take photos--Boy am I looking forward to that--being cooped up in hospital or for that matter --My bedroom is nearly too much foBack Again from Hospital in Personal More Like This
NOW I'm Blown outi never thought I'd ever sell a Fine art photo on dA BUT to My amazement this morning when I checked My messages there it was--not a huge amount but still I've finally sold a pic--WOOHOO--called 'Birds Fly in Alabama Crimson' --Saurus Cranes flying in clouds above Lake Tinaroo--it just goes to show Me that even though I wouldn't have thought my pics would sell in a worldwide environment--I've been proven wrong--I'll keep posting & I know i have made some fabulous friends on dA who like My sunsets and Mirrors--Fun Fun FunNOW I'm Blown out in Personal More Like This

The People I've met along the WayEnough now about Medical stuff --I've met a whole load of people over this time --and made some great friends to boot--2 Torres Straight Islanders---a sugarcane farmer --a bull rider & dog breeder--a deaf guy who reads lips really well--2 old men from My own town--a pest controller--a millionaire horse breeder/trainer & truck driver--an aboriginal painter--2 men with mental problems--these people I met as patients--also a group of talented super efficient nurses & doctors--people i've exchanged phone numbers with & hope to visit when I'm able--& some still there i'll visit when I can--The People I've met along the Way in Personal More Like This
The Time has ComeWell it's that time again--I am off this Thursday to be admitted to Cairns Base Hospital for My operation--It'll be on Friday morning after 8.30 am--I thank all of You that have sent Me well wishes & comments--I ask again for those of You who pray to do so again--last time I got to the stage of wearing My Surgery gown & ready to go in to be sent home because the ICU & surgical wing was filled--Hopefully this time the surgery will be done--I will be offline for a time from possibly 1 to 4 weeks --I will be back on here once I get home--Thanks to all of the Great friends I have made on Here--& all the faves etc---RickThe Time has Come in Personal More Like This
My SurgeryWell it's been a month since I was in Hospital & now the time has come--My surgery is on Wednesday at 8.15am--a Friend is taking Me to Cairns Base Hospital Tuesday afternoon for admittance--I've borrowed a small notebook computer and so once I'm able I'll be back on here--I'm taking a exterior CD Rom with Me & a disc of all the photos I haven't yet uploaded--so I will still be able to post photos--including some mirror pics too--I ask again all of You who pray to pray for Me on Wednesday & for the following weeks of healing--& those who don't well keep Me in Your thoughts--Thanks RickMy Surgery in Personal More Like This
Home from HospitalHi and Thank You All --I'm home --I got here Yesterday at 2pm & slept until 10pm this morning--it was a long operation of 5 hrs--I have a Frankenstein-like scar 20 inches--50cm long vertical--with 6 compression sutuers--they put a 53 cm hernia --part of My small intestine back & 11 other ones--I came out with 4 drains & got My last one removed Yesterday--I'm feeling Groggy & slow--Morphine & Endone being My major pain killers--I'm off all them now & back to panadol--It's gonna take a long time but it's all for My benefit now-slowly slowly now for a few weeks with little driving--thankfully I have some sunsets from before I left--LOLHome from Hospital in Personal More Like This
New Surgery DateHello All--I've been notified that My New Surgery date is 9 November--I'll go in on the 8 November because My home town is a fair distance from the city--You would have noticed I haven't been on lately--My Older Sister Francie came up here to be with Me for My time in Surgery & was going to stay at Red Cross House but because it was postponed decided to stay here with Me at My home--I got opportunity to spend 4 days with Her & i drove Her around & showed Her the Tablelands--we as siblings hadn't lived together for 46 years--so it was a lovely time We had together--i took Her to Cairns on Sunday to get Her flight home --on My way home i received a phone call from an old friend who came up here from Brisbane to house sit a farming property 20 km from My home town--She was driving the property owners car when She had a nasty car accident--Due to her not having a car & the distance from town I offered to care for Her while She's here so I'll be off-line until wednesday 17 th october--UntilNew Surgery Date in Personal More Like This
Hello to all and Happy New YearHi to you all --I just spent another week in hospital on some heavy anti-biotics--i went in for a check up & bang the local doctor said I had an infection Again--so I just got home after 7 full days on intravenous Vencomycin--pretty strong stuff --I had to go on for 3 hours at a time --I'm glad to be home & not laying on My back although i'm very tired --I'll try again to stay infection freeHello to all and Happy New Year in Personal More Like This
