Friendship, Disharmony and Sonic Ch.8Discord returned to the Center of Time laughing at what he had set Sonic up for with Finn and Jake. Time Eater applauded him when he returned and said, “That was a nice performance you put on out there Discord.” Discord took a bow and said, “Thank you, thank you, I try. I wouldn’t have pulled off my best disguise without you.” It then said, “I told you Billy was going to work perfectly for you in Ooo.” After it was brought up, Discord couldn’t help but ask, “Yeah, about that. How did you know about Billy?” It answered him by saying “Earlier while you were keeping Sonic and the rest of the group busy, I checked everything and found out where the remaining emeralds are. One of them is in the Land of Ooo.”
Discord then asked, “And the others?” Time Eater simply answered, “We’ll get them after we destroy the bond between Sonic and these new friends

Unfortunately, their fierce determination did little to decrease the difficulty of the interfering forest that held them back with all its might.
Applejack grunted and pulled her tail free from long, thorny branches. “We better get a move on, y’all. Ah’m getting a funny feeling ‘bout this one part here, and it’s not because of Pinkie’s antics.”
Pinkie Pie looked around while she walked forward, past Discord. “I’d do what I taught you and laugh at these mean things, but...” She gasped and jumped back when a seemingly harmless flowed hissed and snapped at her. “Yikes! They really don’t look like things to be laughed at!”

They were interrupted when they heard a dog barking in the distance.

Morning arrived, and Celestia basked in the full glory of yet another day that she had started by rising the sun. She smiled, feeling quite calm and content. The thoughts of the annoying and certainly uncomfortable ‘conversation’ that she had with Discord the day before had nearly left her mind... until, of course, she went and thought of that afternoon again.
She sighed in annoyance as she entered the balcony. She knew she would find Luna asleep after standing guard for the night. It wasn’t like she wanted to bother her with such trivial matters, anyway. Discord and his shameless, cynical approaches were her problem alone to deal with. And she would, after she sorted through the other, much productive tasks that being a princess brought to her.
“Oh, Celestia... Really? C’mon, there are other things to do. Keep yourself busy.” With that, the Sun Princess walked out of the balcony and her room. She greeted her kind servants as she

Twilight Sparkle continued to ponder Discord’s riddle. It was harder to do than it seemed, considering that her five uncooperative friends and their bickering distracted her from the troublesome, cunning message that Discord had given them. The constant change of the bizarre environment did not help her, either.
But at last, under the torrents of chocolate rain and the then nearly deserted area that once was the Canterlot Palace garden grounds, Twilight finally came upon a realization.
She figured out that the Golden Oaks Library, which was also her home, might help them find the Elements of Harmony. With plenty of struggles, she and the other five mares made their way back to Ponyville and reached the tree library. On the way, Twilight continued to be aggravated by her friends’ unusual nature, and, of course, by Discord’s teasing and smug gloating as well.
The latter was one of the most irritating annoyances of all.

“What’s this?” He leaned over to her. He raised an eyebrow as he watched her sleep. “Little Luna.”
“Wilder...” Luna sighed in her sleep.
He scratched his head. “Aww, look at the little filly. Sleeping so soundly. So trustful of me. My. I sure have become such a good friend, haven’t I? I’ve become... So nice. So cute. So... orderly, YUCK!” He teleported himself above the bed and out the window. “I mean, look at this! What the heck is this?! This place looks so horrible, I’m gonna be sick! SO boring...!”

Even inanimate things that she attempted to mess with were destroyed every time she tapped her hoof with a new, creative spell.
“Ooh, no, that’s not right!” She looked at a bunch of insane rabbits with frustration, then raised an eyebrow as she muttered to herself. “Why can’t I get this?! I don’t mean to overdo it!”

Miseria continued to torment the Mane Six, laughing as she did. Her magic got stronger every time she cast a spell, sinking the forest deeper into destruction. “I’m not done with you! Get over here! Let’s play!”

Her eyes were not as empty as before; though they were still dull, with no light in them, her pupils were now visible. It was obvious that she put as much of a fight against Miseria’s spell as possible, but even her strongest attempts would not last for long.

Princess Celestia was sitting on her throne in the main chamber of the Canterlot palace, stewing over what she had just witnessed. Although, as Celestia looked upon it, she knew there was good reason for her not to be here. It was a large woodland outside the outskirts of Ponyville, known to the locals as the Everfree Forest, a place that was known to be home to many wild and dangerous creatures, but also because it was, as it's name suggested, free from the controlling influence that ponies had over nature.
But there was an appeal to such a place. There was a wildness and freedom here that few places in Equestria had known. But that did not make it any less safe for her to be here, especially without guards. But that had been part of the terms of the meeting, that she would come alone. "So let me get this straight..." A girl in a red dress and pearls began as she and Rocky walked down another sidewalk, far away from where the cotton candy cloud was. "While my family had been running for our lives because of my dad unable to control his urges to take a bite of the World's Largest Pig in Louisiana..." Her face contorted into an expression of bewilderment and slight envy. "You guys had been hunting down a mythical creature that you assumed had taken one of our friends?"
Rocky chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Well, yes. That's right, Lisa."
They both turned just in ti

"Alright, sweetie, now just add extra pizzazz..."
Mama Jam's voice was barely audible as Florentine rested her head in her hands, gazing down at the ingredients on the table with a dazed expression. Though this was a special recipe her mother figure wanted her to accomplish, the young girl's mind just couldn't absorb what she was suppose to learn; her mind was elsewhere.
"Yeah..." Florentine murmured, trying to hide her expression of disinterest.
"Then you sprinkle some mint..."
"And stir well..."
"Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh..." Florentine muttered repeatedly.
Mama Jam placed down her spoon and casted the cat girl a confused expression. "Are you paying attention at all?"
Florentine immediately shook her head of distraction before turning back to the female mammoth. "Oh, wait, what?" She gave an apologetic smile. "My bad, my mind was somewhere else."
"Your football match?" Mama Jam asked with a sigh.
"Um, not exactly..." Florentine played wit
Friends and Little Wishes Chp. 2“I freaking hate the train, man.”Friends and Little Wishes Chp. 2 in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
“Dude, chill out. Most train rides aren’t exactly thrilling during a weekday.”
“We could have just spent that kind of money on burgers instead coming all the way out here to Unicorn’s Lane.”
“Hey, all I see are unicorns in this place! It’s a more fitting name!”
The anthropomorphic bluejay sighed, shaking his head with exasperation as he led his reluctant raccoon for a best friend through the cobblestone streets of Canterlot. Truth be told by the indifferent tone of the raccoon known as Rigby, the train ride was not exactly one of their finest this time around. They had to make at least two emergency stops, terrible service by a steward who was most likely trying to get himself fired on purpose, and worst of all the children. Rambunctious children, running amok through each station wagon which resorted in one of them pouring cough syrup into Rigby’s glass of

Florentine turned her head upon the mound of grass that had been collected to provide as her bed and speculated the forest surrounding her. The slumber she had just experienced moments before waking up seemed to be one of the best she had thought she ever had.
She had earlier been quite giddy yet calm and somewhat serene to the point taking so much excitement made her ever more desired for a good night's sleep. But waking up now, and feeling a familiar object gently lay upon her chest as she shifted her weight to lean on her back, the emotions came back, and that same smile from earlier shone on her face.
"I can't believe it..." Florentine sighed silently, her fingers tracing the necklace. "I'm one of them now. What's more..."
Her gaze wandered over to a familiar figure who was leaning against a nearby tree, snoring softly and arms folded against his bulk chest. Since the first night Florentine had spent sleeping in this forest, Garble had decided t

The stallion smiled at the wooly mammoth before turning back to regard the little football team practicing on open Canterlot grounds.
"It's no problem, Gazpacho," Shining Armor stated like it wasn't a massive deal, "it's not your fault your football team's training area had overflowed with cottage cheese." He cringed at the image forming in his head.
Gazpacho tried not to gag, recalling the horrid memory of how he had to swim through gallons of the disgusting substance to rescue one of his players. It was still difficult to believe that the wide, open field of fresh-cut grass had been overlaid with a half-baked dairy ocean...all caused by the failed culinary experiment of a certain mustache-wielding chef.
"Still, I really hope my Flora and her team won't occupy too much of your Royal Guard section," he told Shining Armor, "I promise you, this is just for two weeks until the next game."
The captain of the Royal Guard smiled and gave h

Shining Armor bit his lip, regarding his mammoth friend closely. "So, uh..." He paused for a moment. "You were with Twilight and Spike while the girls set out to find Florentine..."
"Yeah, that's right," Gazpacho sighed. "Drowning myself in anything Ponyville had to feed a big boy like me."
Twilight exhaled softly, shaking her head before turning to her brother. "Three barrels of Applejack's apples were gone in nearly an hour."
Her brother's eyes widened, his gaze never leaving the sight of the slowly depression-reforming mammoth before him. "Wow..." He muttered.
"Oh, yeah, I was eating more than my weight in comfort food, " Gazpacho chuckled dryly, "and I just ate more, because I was so worried that my Flora probably didn't have much to eat at all while stuck with those horrid dragons."

Ronaldo tightened his grip on his backpack as he trudged through the halls of his school after the first session of his class had ended. Recess was occurring but he dared not go outside.
He feared he would bump into her.
The blonde boy gulped, terrified as he imagined the possibilities of Kendall dumping him before he could explain himself. He couldn't blame her if she did so; he did leave her without a message, left her to attend the opera house all by herself, and didn't even bother buying her a fancy present from Equestria to show how sorry he was. Not that she would find interest in anything those ponies sold...
He stopped in front of his locker before opening it and putting away some physics books he read in class. After that, he pulled from his locker a very familiar book he was proud to have borrowed from Canterlot's library.

She was running. Running through who knows what. It was dark with only the moon as her guide.
Twilight had no idea why she was running. But she did feel herself using her magic to carry some sort of object...no, a number of objects. But one of them felt much heavier than all the rest.
How did she wind up in this situation? And why? Who was she running from? And why were tears pouring down her face?
"Twilight!" Voices called out, heard distant as she drew farther away from them.
"No..." Twilight choked as she kept running. "No..." Why was she saying that? What in Equestria was she refusing? Who was after her...sounding so concerned?
Rocky stirred in her sleep before raising her head from her sleeping mat, clutching her octopus doll. She had been awoken by the sound of mumbling and g
