Cold Morning

Getting up early is not my thing. I'm the kind of person who likes to wake up long after the sun has risen... Fortunately, the glory of sun, rising through a light veil of mist is enough to get me out of bed.
This particular morning in Czech Switzerland was a wonderful one. The air was still, quiet all around, birds just starting to sing their first songs. Watching the sun rise over the distant landscape, you can feel a peace, a tranquility like never before. Out of darkness, the sun suddenly paints layer after layer of amazing landscape right in front of you - it's like a theater of nature!

Walking through the forest in the middle of fall is always amazing ... you couldn't count all the shades of different colors you see all around you. This is where I always "recharge" after a long week :)

Just a really small creek making its way to the ocean in northern Norway ... with the dirt it carried down from the mountains, it created some amazing patterns in the white sand of the beach.

I swear this young and distinctive mountain range outside of Jackson Hole, and right next to Yellowstone, is the most photogenic place on the planet! Grand Teton National Park.
