Abyss- A water dragon TF storyIf you stare into the abyss....
...The abyss stares back into you.
The boy crouched on the edge of the cliff overlooking the sea, he couldn't have been over thirteen or 5 foot 3 as he stared down over the edge to the rocks below with green eyes, tan cargo shorts and a navy blue t-shirt made up his attire. A tiny forest bordered the cliff behind him as two people, obviously his friends make their way through this forest to him...
"Max!" the older of the boys called to the boy on the cliff...
I sigh and look back at Kyle, his black hair moving just enough to see him standing a few feet behind him.
"What?" I asked causualy.
"Why'd you leave?" Jake asks, stuffing his hands into his baggy jeans, he was 6 feet tall and had spiky brown hair and a scar that ran just under his left eye, which was blue. He had taken off his shirt, reavealing the sweaty muscles underneath.

It was belived that that dragon may still live in that old cave, which had become known as "The Dragon's Den".The Dragon's Children in Fantasy More Like This
"Tom, wake up!" Ben shouted at his friend.
Tom brought his head from his desk. He had been sleeping all through class. He wiped away some drool and rubbed his eyes a little.
"Oh, hey, Ben. What time is it?" Tom asked.
"3:30. School ended 10 minutes ago." Ben told his friend.
Tom felt a little embarassed. He was well known for dosing off in class. Because of this, many of his classmates had given him the nickname "Sleepy Tommy".
Tom got up and grabbed his bookbag. He and Tim headed for home.
"Tom?" Ben asked.
"What's up?" Tom replied.
Dragon HatIt was near the end of July. As a reward for finishing his first year of school, six year old Jason and his family went to the San Diego Comic Con. Little Jason was amazed at how big the convention was. He had never seen so many people in one place. The convetion itself was a very easy place to get lost in so Jason had to make sure he was with his family at all times.Dragon Hat in Fantasy More Like This
Jason was dressed like a half-dragon. His parents had always told him that many fans of comics like Iron Man and Batman who went there. As much as he loved superheroes, Jason loved dragons more. He had always enjoyed dragon type movies, no matter how cheesy.
Jason's costume was a pair of homemade wings that barely stuck out of his shirt and a tail his mom sowed for him. Jason looked around, excited. Jason noticed many people dressed up as his favorite fictional characters. He noticed a girl dressed up like Naruto. Another was a storm trooper.
"Mommy, why are these people wearing costumes?" Jason asked.

"And then what?" Asked Iiyumi.

Jacob took off his pajamas and got his street clothes on. Afterwards he walked downstairs to get breakfest. His family usually had breakfest late so he didn't miss it. And as usual, his mom was the only one up at that time.

"Morning." Jacob replied, still a little bit drowzy.
Jacob climbed on top of the counter and opened one of the doors. He looked around for something to eat, finally finding a box of Fruit Loops. He jumped off the counter, the cereal box in tow and asked for a bowl to pour his cereal in.
His mom opened one of the cabinet doors and handed him a bowl. He walked to the table and poured his cereal in the bowl.
Jacob's sister and father walked into the kitchen as well. His father was already to go, while his sister was still in her nightgown.

Tommy's story technically began a month ago. After coming home from school, Tommy's parents noticed something odd about their son: Even though he was sick, it was only his arm that had an off color to it. As days passed, Tommy didn't get any better. In fact, his condition was actually getting worse. His parents took him to his doctor, whom confirmed that he had obtained a disease called "The Dragon Virus". As a recently discovered disease, the Dragon Virus had no known cure. In fact, Tommy was one of the first people who had accuired the disease. Since there was no cure, Tommy's parents knew it was only a matter of time before the Tommy they knew was gone.
Tommy sat in the lobby at the doctor's office. He scratched at his right hand, which was covered by a glove, as was his left hand. The reason for t

Around me there was nothing but darkness. Endless darkness. I was unable to move. I couldn't move any part of my body. I didn't like this place. It was too cramped. Just then, a crack came through the darkness. Bringing with it a thin ray of light. It felt strange. It was almost like I was...hatching.
I awoke with a startle, jolting my now draconic head up. I wondered why I'd have a dream like that. It wasn't like I was born a dragon. Even if I DID have a dragon's form now.
I extended my front legs out and jumped off the guest room's bed. I walked out of the room and into my brother's computer room. I knew he didn't like me using h

Out of all the stories I posted on Deviantart, I'd have to say the Dragon's World series is my favorite. I enjoyed developing the characters and getting the reader to know about them and, hopefully, to care about them.
Most of the setting, such as the location of Angela's shop was actually based on San Diego. Wether or not it was supposed to be set in San Diego is up to the reader. Angela's shop's location in particular was based on a strip mall my brother took me to on my first visit out there. The

Kenny sat on the ground. He pulled from his backpack five waterbottles and gave four to his group, the other belonging to him.

I'm gonna die in a space that don't hold my shame.
Winter has fallen, broken up in a thousand pieces like glass snowflakes.
Footsteps crinkle and crack, their reflections leaving ghosts in their wake.
The leaves are bare here, trees conceding to life's demands.
I've forgotten what sun looks like, my breath showing like clouds of ash.
What is memory?
Is it the imprint of a foot on unwilling snow,
Or the fine wisps of leaves that still cling to a bare tree?
Perhaps, for me, it is the icy crust that coats the flower, leaving it brittle.
What is forward?
Is it the fall of leaves to be replaced and forgotten?
Might it be the shattering of what once was for what can be,
Like the melting away of my track?
What am I?
Will I be known as the one who last saw the flowers,
Before they shattered and rotted into the dirt?
Am I the gash, cut in footsteps across this pristine, dead place?
Who will I be, after a sad memory of this life has passe

The incline back to my family posed a far greater challenge than that of the walk here. I dug my claws into the ground, giving myself too much traction, as well as propulsion.

He reached the top of a sand dune, letting out an irritated laugh as he saw miles upon miles of desert. He started shaking his head then pressed on

Prologue: The symbol of the crusade
Sinclair walked in the dusty room, carrying his sword and his shield. No one stepped in that room for over a thousand years. Many treasures were waiting for him, waiting to be discovered, and to be brought back to the world by his holy warriors...in the name of god, and in the name of the people of the holy land.
The crusaders stood in awe in front of the pile of gold in front of them. The lost treasure of King Solomon was in that room, and they found it...before the infidels. Sinclair brought his hands together, and thanked god for guiding them on the right path, and for giving them the instrument of their future victory.
May our light always guide our steps Sinclair said, his right hand on his heart. He looked at his warriors, already bringing the shining gold outside, in the light of the sun. Sinclair smiled, and he started to walk toward the door,
Ninja DragonI walked toward the door, my old sword in my hand. Master Sario wanted to see me, and I perfectly knew what he wanted to tell me. I brought with me my old sword, because in just a few minutes...I was going to receive a new and better sword.Ninja Dragon in Fantasy More Like This
I opened the door, and I walked in the master's room. It was very dark inside; there was no window, and the only source of light was a strange blue candle in the middle of the room. The master was sitting on a chair, in the exact center of a strange symbol painted on the floor.
I knelled before him. Master... I said, my voice reflecting my respect for him.
He stood up, and he walked in front of me. Ruy...you have come
I stood up. I do what you want me to do...I'm the student, and you are the teacher I said, still looking at the floor.
The master laughed, and then he walked toward his old wardrobe. I guess that you probably know why I called you here...that's why you brought the sword he said.
The Ice Dragon MixtureI heard the doorbell ringing. I quickly walked over to the door, and opened it. The postman was waiting there, with the usual pile of letters, and two packages. I signed the papers, and thanked him...by giving him a small gratuity of course. The Ice Dragon Mixture in Fantasy More Like This
I brought letters and packages inside, and I placed them on the table. The first thing I wanted to open were the packages, obviously. I already knew what the first one contained: just a small plush I bought for one of my friend's little brother. But the second package's content was unknown to me. I decided to take care of the letters and the first package before opening the second one...I was a patient person.
And so, after reading a whole bunch of spam letters and a few bills, I was finally ready to open the mysterious gray box. I didn't waste any time...I quickly used my pocket knife to cut it open, and then, of course, I opened it.
Inside the box there were three things: a small transparent bottle, with a glowing blue liquid inside it, a folded

It all started a month ago. I was browsing Deviantart...you know, the art website were I usually put my artworks on. That day, I got commissioned by someone who calls himself Dragonkin696. He asked me to draw his online persona: a black crystal dragon. Nothing to complex I thought, so I accepted.
Three weeks later, I finished the drawing, and I sent that guy a low resolution scan of it. He really liked it, and he told me that he was going to send me my payment right away. Now...I didn't tell him how much I wanted, so when he said that...I told him that we needed to set a price first. He told me that what he was about to send me was more than enough for such a fantastic work.
What he said kind of confused me...but I decided to accept whatever payment he was going to send me anyway. Beside...I didn't usually take a lot money for my artworks...they were j

That day there was a lot of people in the shop, since Halloween was very close, everyone wanted to buy a great costume to impress their friends. A normal shopkeeper should be happy about this kind of situation right? But no, Drethan wasn't happy, because there were almost 30 people in the shop, but no one had a desire strong enough to make his special costumes work. He was making a lot of money, but he didn't care about money, he wanted knowledge, knowledge that these people couldn't offer. Just when he thought that the whole day was a waste of his precious time, someone walked in the shop...a very unexpected person.
I walked in the shop, and immediately all the people in there turned and looked at my arm. I didn't care anymore if people looked at me in that way. You know, my arm is made of wood....yes, I lost my arm after a little accident with a chainsaw, and the doctors putted this fake arm on me, just to make me look normal...how ironic.

Return of the serpent queenA heavy black suitcase slammed the young lady's bed with a thud!. At the still-young age of twenty, Kuro had just returned from her trip to Egypt. Besides, even though half of her souvenirs had to be mailed specially (customs certainly wouldn't allow such fine things through!), seeing the Sphinx, the Great Pyramids at Giza, and a real open-air market had made the trip well worth the money.
Despite the pleasure, however, only two words that could summarize Kuro's mental state at the moment: Jet lagged. She ruffled her dark blond hair a little; the sun in Egypt had made it a few shades lighter, but it still wasn't quite the Valley Girl bleach blond. Though she had a sizable chest and nice legs, she fit the stereotype of 'female, not feminine' most of the time.
It had been slightly irksome to the natives, who were used t

Long ago, the whole world was united in a single great continet, where a great empire existed, the empire of dragons. For centuries they controlled the world,
under the guide of their great emperor, Kaeer Narash, and the power of the Cristal sword, the mighty blade of god. But unfortunely, like humans, corruption can
affect even the strongest of the dragons, and one day, a dark dragon named Ashera, tried to use the power of the sword and become a god, but the sword
was created by a god, only a god can use it, and in the end the power that Ashera absorbed was to much for him, and so...he released it on the world, destroying
the dragons' cities, breaking apart lands and skies. That day, known as "the day of mementho", the world ended.
The old man closed the ancient book, written by one of the survived dragons. He looked up at the dark ceiling, and closed his eyes:

brushing off the rocks sticking to my shirt, and I was shocked at what I saw.
All over the place were little lizards, but I quickly noticed they had wings!
I quickly came to the conclusion that this was...A DRAGON NEST! All of them just seemed
to be staring at me, every now and then I heard a little 'squee' noises they made
every now and then. While still staring at me, they started walking towards me. They
weren't that big, as they were only about the size of baby golden retreivers, but that

They continued silently walking to me, while I looked all around for a way out,
The Dragon in Me Part1I was just walking around in the city. It was a wonderful day in the middle of the summer. The sun had just risen and was shining in my face. I had decided to take an early walk and was now on the way home. I was crossing the road when it happened. A car hit me from the side. When I was flying the whole time seemed to slow down and I felt something rush through my body. Then I blacked out and crashed against the wall. The driver of the car just went on like nothing had happened. For my luck the next passenger that saw me called the emergency ambulance. They came quickly and brought me to the hospital. When they found out who I was they informed my parents, who came as fast as the could. When they reached the hospital they were led to my room. I had to look terrible. Several bones broken, bleeding just like every where and to make it worse the doctor told them, that I had a concussion. After breakfast I decided to get out and enjoy the feeling of the raindrops on my scales. I had always liked it to be out in the rain when I was human and I wanted to know if it felt different with my scales. I went out into the pouring rain. I had to smile when the drops flowed down my body. I hadn't felt this for a long time so this time it was even better. I just closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling. There wasn't any difference to how it felt before. It seemed that this was one of the less things that hadn't changed in the last few days. It wasn't like I wouldn't enjoy my new body. It was just good to have this small things that would always be the same.

The Dragon in Me part2When I woke up the next morning the sun was shining through my window. My watch showed 8:32 and because my whole family sleeps pretty long on weekends I was the first one up. I got out of my bed and went down the stairs into the kitchen. I opened the fridge took out the milk and warmed it up on the stove. When it was warm enough I poured it into a bowl. Then I got the box with the breakfast cereals and put some of them into the milk. This was my usual breakfast that I eat nearly every day. Although it tasted like it ever had there was something different to the feeling that I head while eating. Just like there was something missing that would make the food really enjoyable. It was the first time when I realized that I had not only changed in the way how I look. When I thought of it I noticed that my brain, or at least the most primitive parts of it, told me to eat meat. She had been free-climbing up a natural rock face, when the rock she had grabbed fell out. Her grip with the other hand slipped and she started falling 100 feet in the air. The next thing she knows is that a deep red dragon caught her. He held her with his forearms as he opened his powerful wings and softened the landing. However, from 100 feet there is not a lot of time to slow down, so they landed rather roughly. May hit her head on a rock and was knocked unconscious. When she woke with a large headache, the dragon was nowhere to be found, but her head was bandaged where the rock split the skin. Lucky, re was no permanent damage, but whenever she mentioned the dragon, her friends claimed she had a concussion. Eventually, she began to doubt her story and stopped mentioning the dragon.

New LookThe day after Halloween, I was out looking for discount Halloween costumes. I had a personal policy that it was never too late to have an awesome costume for next year. It was even better when I can get it cheap. Going through town looking for that PERFECT costume was hard, especially when all the main costume stores were sold out. Each of them looked as if they could win any costume contest they were entered in.
I wasted no time checking out the costumes. There seemed to be quite a few dragon related costumes, which made since I guess. There
