Bloodsteam (ZaDr) ~ Chapter One (Part One)
Okay, so the first half of this chapter is gonna be trough Dib's P.O.V. because it's sooo much easier to explain things through his eyes.
Sixteen years ago was the beginning of my end. On the day of my birth I was taken away from a human nursery on the planet Earth and was raised by an Irken service drone in order to serve my one and only master. The drone told me that Master had bought me legally and therefore I was his forever, but I know I was stolen. Human slaves are illegal in every galaxy, and on every planet. Well, besides Earth, but I never have, and never will admit I know that. I don't need another reason for Master to 'correct' me...
On the day of my second year my master, Blin, assigned me as his personal slave. He told me if I was questioned, I was to 'refer myself as his adopted son.', whatever that was... Master Blin uses many terms that I do not understand, but I've learned to never question him, or it'll lead to more 'correcting'.
For the next five years, there

My master once told me that there was a time when all galaxies were isolated from one another; No one dared venture into the depths of space in fear of being captured or even killed by some unknown alien race. That was until the inhabitants of Irk did what no other species dreamed of...
The Irken leader, Tallest Myuki, ordered her best technicians to build something that could easily cruise around space without a single complication. The process took a gruesome eighty years, but the Irken's did it; They built the first space vessel to ever travel such great distances without any problems or hindrance.
The Viral Tank.
Large in size, the Viral Tank could withstand the journey not only out of Irk's atmosphere, but also that of any other unknown planet's atmosphere. Along with herself, Tallest Myuki chose the most suitable Irken scientists to have total control over the Viral Tank.
And that's when those chosen Irken's found did it.
They successfully found one planet who had i

Red sat with a bored expression as he watched Purple stuff his face with doughnuts. His eye began to twitch as he listened to the disgusting sound of the other Tallest's lips smacking together. Finally growing tired of the sound, Red yelled at Purple."Pur, it's been three HOURS. Put down the disgusting earth food that idiot Zim sent and do something productive!"
Tallest Purples' eyes widened comically. He looked down at the sugary treats in his hands and then back at Red. "Bu- but Reeeeed~. They're soooooooo good!" He gave the other tallest puppy dog eyes, his lip pouting adorably. "Earth sweets are soooooo much better than Irks!"
Red sighed and rolled his eyes. "I've known you since we were smeets Pur. That look lost its effect a LONG time ago."
Purple looked close to tears as he reluctantly put the doughnuts down on the ship's control panel. The box of Earth goodies in the corner hit a lever which, consequently, blew up a casino pl

Zim had come back down to the holding cells the next day to satisfy his curiosity over the boy’s health. Much to dismay, the human had not improved from his dazed-like state. Upon entering the room the alien let out a slight sigh as his ruby orbs scanned over every inch of Dib’s frail body before he slowly made his way up to the small cage. Leaning his back against the cool bars, Zim stared forward at the grey, metalic wall, reluctant to see the damage he had caused.
The silence in the near empty room seemed almost deafening; the only sound seemed to come from the Irken’s heart as it drummed heavily into his antenna. Minutes passed before the Irken could no longer take the overwhelming silence. “Why is the Dib acting like this?” he asked, a hint of unease slipping past his dry lips. Inwardly the green male hoped for some kind- any kind of response from the other, but as

"Ugh! I hate this weather!" Dib complained as he stood outside of Hi Skool, watching the rain fall mercilessly to the ground. He looked over at the Irken that stood to his left. Who, much to his satisfaction, was shorter than him. After four years of being on the planet the Irken had realized that his old attire had been deemed 'weird,' and in his attempt to successfully blend in with the humans he had taken the human with him to purchase clothing that was 'normal', which consisted of very dark colors. On every outfit Zim had stitched a pink insignia of his Irken empire. The invader had also customized a longer wig to hide his growing antenna.
After the shopping trip the two became something more- not enemies, and at the same time, they were not friends. Their relationship had grown into something like an

I hate this.
I hate the look on your face: Lost, scared, tired. I hate how we let ourselves become this weak, shuddering from pain but so transfixed in the silence that surrounds us. Ever so gently, I reach out my worn out palm and caress your singed flesh that was once so perfectly smooth. Your maroon orbs scan across my features, searching for something but what that something is is anyone's guess.
Then you smile.
It wasn't one of your egotistical, cocky, "I'M BETTER THAN YOU FILTHY BAGS OF FLESH FOR I AM ZIM!" smiles. No. It was something- wonderful. So wonderful that it was painful. With a shaky tri-fingered hand, you lightly smack my cheek. "That l'k... d'snt f't you... hyooman."

How long has it been: Hours, days, weeks, months? With the missing essence of a clock or window, the human had lost his sense of time long ago. He usually had an idea of what time it was when Zim came to visit him, bringing him food and water three times a day, but after that 'incident', Zim stopped coming. Gir came by every so often, bringing some sort of snack or an occasional meal and sometimes when Zim's computer cleansed Dib of his human filth it would strike up an irrelevant conversation, but besides that he was completely alone.
At first he had expected the alien to come back and torture him or even kill him. But as time dragged on and Zim had yet to reappear, Dib began to get worried. Not only for himself, but for his captor. Was Zim just going to leave him there in that cage to slowly starve to death, or was he just avoiding the human because of what happened? Had he really hurt the green teen so much that he refused to see the human? Maybe Zim was thinking of a per

Looking forward at the crescent shaped chair in which his new master was seated in, a confused teen watched from his spot on the round bed as the ex-Elite examined his new lab that had been hidden by a hologram of a wall. The Irken hummed to himself, picking up various objects only to set them back down again. After a few minutes, Zim turned away from his observations in favor of the boy.
“This lab is impressive.” He said excitedly. “It’s a fair size, has a good amount of tools,” he then grinned sadistically. “There’s even chemicals in here I could only dream of using!” Letting out a content sigh, he turned away from Dib and stared into his lab. “With these materials, I could create a whole new era of weaponry for the Armada.” Dib watched silently as the black stalks upon the other’s head wilted slightly. “Or myself.” Nodding his head, the Irken set out to do just that.
The human’s curiosity was grasped

As soon as the wonderful feeling that shot its way through his body, it was taken away just as fast with the voice of his insane SIR unit. "MASTER!" Gir's voice rang out through Zim's antennas as he attached himself to his master's leg.
"GET OFF OF ME GIR!" Zim shrieked, kicking the robot away.
Giggling to himself, Gir smiled up to his master. "The big headed boy woke up though! He dun and go look all funny!"
Rubbing his temples in frustration, Zim stared down at Gir. "What's wrong with him, Gir?"
"HE LOOKS LIKE THIS!!" he screamed, holding up a roll of toilet paper. He laughed hysterically while waving the roll around, ultimately teepeeing the control room.
The Irken ignored the mess for the moment and stared down at the giggling robot. "What's his physical status?"
Gir's teal body turned red as he entered Duty Mode. "Sir! Prisoner Dib's physical status is currently dehydrated!"
"Hmm.... What's his mental status, Gir?"

The two companions took their time walking back to Blin’s study after the Irken had gained all functions back into his PAK; Zim had laid upon a steel medical bed as the medic drone probed away at his PAK, screaming threats at the top of his lungs the entire time while Dib had stood near the door of the room and watched curiously as the smaller cursed at the other Irken, telling her that if anything were to go wrong he’d take it upon himself to destroy her. The drone worked fast and efficiently and once everything was once again right, she wasted no time in kicking the rude Irken out of the room.
The two walked down one of the halls on the main level of the home. Dib stifled laughter as Zim mumbled under his breath, complaining that the medic had treated his lifesource carelessly. The human watched silently while Zim half heartedly rambled angrily. It seemed like in no time at all that the two reached the small elevator that ascended to the human’s master’s study

New words come into play. "Zim, are you getting any of this?"
The room wasn't so much tense as it was just awkward. Zim didn't seem to notice it but, Dib was trying his best to ignore it. All the times he had been in this room he had been struggling and fighting to escape, but now he was willingly here. Working on a stupid school project, with his alien enemy.
'Not weird at all.' He thought to himself.
He found the button he was looking for. With all the random doodads he had stolen from Zim he'd managed to slowly learn his language.
He continued typing.

"What is... this 'Content'?" Zim interrupted.

"What?! Don't expect me to do all of this by myself. We're down two partners as it is."
"Fine. Let's continue." Zim rested one elbow in his hand as the other reached to hold his green head.

"FINE!" Fed up with Dib's complaining he walked over to a circle in the floor that quickly removed him to another underground space.
Dib laid on his back. One arm above his head and the other with his hand resting on his chest. His eyes were heavy and his breathing slow.
'Why did he blush?' He thought to himself.

CHAPTER 1 Part 1
It was the night before Christmas and all through the Membrane household not a creature was stirring well unless you count a skinny, pale, large headed boy at about the age of 8 as a creature.
Dib's glasses, which were much too large for his face began slipping down as the boy peered around the corner and into the living room where their scrawny tree stood, with its bare branches. Well, bare except for a few tiny bulbs in the shapes of various mythical creatures; bigfoot, moth men, werewolves, monsters of the unusual sorts and of course UFOs.
Dib loved UFOs. Well, he loved the paranormal in general. But, to be as specific as possible, Dib loved Aliens. He adored what they stood for. Life outside of this tiny, crude planet. How they had so many possibilities. So much amazing technology. And of course those funny limbs and eyes.
The little(well not so little anymore) boy skidded out from behind his cover, now that he was satisfied

Zim despised water; it could drown, boil and freeze.
Zim loathed with a passion tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis and any natural disaster that one could think of.
He was sure if it was possible he would murder in the cruelest way possible any and all wild animals that could eat, spread disease or go rabid.
Zim detested the sun for it burned and caused things such as 'strokes'.
Zim hated cars and trains and speed boats and subways and motorcycles that could crash into an unsuspecting person. Those things could squish you flat as a waffle.
There was construction machines, electricity, sharp objects and poison. Swallow able objects, fatty food, and rope.
But out of everything he hated, one thing stood out the most above all; Zim hated humans.
They lied, cheated, turned into cannibals or axe murders. They spread toxins and committed suicide. They had no conscience m

At this moment, Zim was only aware of the human that held him. It didn't matter that he had his wig on, and his antennae were hindered by the fabric; Zim knew that even without it, he would only be able to sense Dib. Enveloped by his warmth and scent, Zim couldn't think of anyplace he'd rather be.

And you would fight for Zim out of loyalty?" Zim questioned finally. It was a strange thought; all these years of fighting each other, why would Dib fight for Zim out of loyalty?
Dutifully, Dib scooped out the vanilla cream and plopped it onto the cone before handing it over to the alien menace. "Here, your majesty. I hope you enjoy. I lost a leg while getting it for you but, it was worth it." Once the ice cream was handed off, the teen walked over to the register to pay for their cones, wondering if the old man recognized him. From the dimness in his expression, Dib guessed 'no'. Somehow it was both a relief and a disappointment
Zim rolled his eyes at Dib. He liked the idea of Dib being his faithful knight, but the human's obvious sarcastic tone was ruining the imagery.
Hesitantly the alien tasted the plain white treat, this time not being surprised by the frostiness. This one was a much more subtle sweetness; it was creamy and surprisingly good.

Waking up with a headache was not one of the most pleasant things in the world. But it's possible because someone always has to find out the persons motives to proceed further. He's used it by now and now is not the time to be complaining. He groans into his pillow as he hand hits the annoying sound of his alarm clock ringing in his ears. He sat up slowly and stood up from his dark blue sheeted bed and looks at the mirror from across the room. Everything that they've done was just a complete waste of the humans time, though he doesn't realize it... yet. Dib sat in his usual seat in Ms. Bitters class doodling in his blue notebook. He was drawing ghosts, vampires, the paranormal as much to be specific. He sighed and glanced up to see Ms. Bitters still echoing words of doom in the world and how it will implode on itself.
Dib however, knowing how much he knew about science, that the world wasn't going to end in some explosion, moon crashing into the ocean, or even a big earthquake. It was going to end by something even worse.
The paranormal freak turned his big head towards the right side of class to see the strange green boy. His chin was leaning on the top of his desk, as his frail arms falling over the desk in front of him. The bored look on his face was tinted with sadness and disappointment as the clock on the wall ticked louder.

The weekend was here and it began with a normal Saturday morning, birds chirping through the boys window and the deadly light of the sun beaming on the mirror, lighting up the whole room with such a warm essence. It was not on a school day so he didn't have to worry about waking up early in the morning. But he would still like to get up early, do his necessary needs like showers and breakfast. Sighing heavily, Dib kicked his feet off the bed placed on his pants, staying out of his shirt to go downstairs to make breakfast. He had heard these words before, from a varying range of other Irkens as time had passed and even from The Almighty Tallest themselves on a few occasions. But he never believed a word of it. He thought back to his existence evaluation. The Tallest had pushed his date up a couple of decades. He didn't want to come to the realization that they did that with malicious intent then. His loyalty to his leaders burned strong. The only reason he even lived through his evaluation is because his PAK was too much for the Control Brains to handle. Thinking back, he didn't realize to the full extent what was happening to him or the Brains. Just that the Brains declared him the greatest Invader ever. Dib always enjoyed being out during the night. He gazed dreamily at the stars as he walked. Dib walked up to his gym locker and grabbed his gym clothes. He walked over to a toilet stall to change. Just as he turned around to shut the door he saw that stupid green alien standing there. His heart skipped a beat.

"This is the only class that amuses Zim." The alien replied. Zim had his own gym clothes in hand and entered the stall next to Dib. One thing they had in common. They did not like to change in front of others. Although Dib was sure that Zim did so because his anatomy was probably different, Dib's reason for this behavior was much more personal.

Hmph, well of course he had to do something, there was no way on Irk he would simply sit there and remain defenseless! But in the end there wasn't much he could do, until the repairs were made. Waiting was the only option.
Zim didn't have patience to speak of, not when his intentions were in opposition to it.
He decided not

Zim was already in the main elevator shoot, heading toward the ground level of the base. The quiet hum of the machinery as it transported him downward was hardly a welcome reprieve, giving his mind room to fill the silence with memories of the sounds Dib made only moments prior.
The hungry groans, feral and commanding; they had the essence of noises Zim made when he was angry or had the upper hand-when he was in control. He was used to hearing them from his own lips, because he was always the dominating figure. No one save his Tallests could be allowed to show any greatness above Zim's.
But the Dib had.
Zim scowled, eyes burning a hole into the wall with their intensity. He had assumed the dirt child would use the knowledge of his antennae eventually for his own purposes, but certainly not so soon, or for THAT particular reason.
He really should have speculated as much, seeing as how the Dib-smell DID have mating urges in his sleep involving him; he

Zim returned up the chute less than an hour later, fully clothed in a clean Invader uniform and looking a bit better compared to how he did when he exited. He'd wasted no time, marching through the lab with wary eyes until he reached the small cleansing facility, slipping inside and turning the faucet. Normally, though, a cleanse only took Zim about five minutes, not the almost half-hour he spent inside the room.
What held him there so long was the scrubbing. Even if his skin looked clean, it didn't feel clean. So he'd scrub again. And again. All down his abdomen. Around his thighs. He avoided touching his antennae, aware that scrubbing them might cause more problems than help but Irk, how he wanted to clean those off. He cleaned and cleaned and yet still, it wasn't enough. It didn't feel like enough. Eventually Zim decided to give it up, his skin a dark, dark bruise color in the places where he'd cleaned so fervently. The patches burned a little, but n

It happened once every year.
It wasn't really a big deal; Zim was used to it by now, ever since he went through the change from the equinox he had to take a week off school and just confine himself to his house.
Sure, it made him irritated and more hostile than normal, but it was just him in his lab for that week so there was no threat of him trying to leave and do something about his discomfort and irritation.
This dreaded event was called, 'Heat' and Zim suffered from it once every year for an entire week before those disgusting needs died down.
He knew the basics; ever since he felt the stirrings within his body, felt his skin grow hot and his mouth dry with this unusual yearning he had done some research on the subject. At first he thought he had contracted some Earth illness; but now he knew better, after all, he had suffered through four of these cycles thus far.
Zim didn't know if he truly had anything to worry about. He wasn't even sure these human things w

Dib was trying to gather himself, unsure what to do about the situation at hand.
It wouldn't really matter what he did, right?
If Zim wanted to do something, he was going to do it. He'd be able to persuade him to take Cyan in space, but what the hell would that really matter? It was suicide. This whole thing was just insane.
Dib ran a hand through his hair, grumbling to himself as he tried to focus.
He needed to go downstairs; he needed to make Cyan breakfast or lunch or whatever it was now. He spent way too much of his morning yelling at Zim about stupid shit that wasn't going to change.
Dib didn't know what he had expected. Zim was Zim, there was no changing him. Where did he get off thinking the plot of world domination had been swept aside?
Dib slowly got off the bed, tugging the wrinkles from his clothes in an attempt to focus on something aside from his thoughts. There was no point over-thinking anything. At least for today he didn't have to bother with

Meanwhile in the lab Zim had busied himself with the progress of his machines, observing with a calculated stare as the different robot hands carefully measured out the substances and applied them to various empty beakers. The slow 'drip-drip' of the liquids and the whirling of the robotic limbs was a soothing backdrop to contrast Zim's tense poise and furrowed brow.
Having Dib stay at his base for a whole two days and NOT locked up in some kind of containment cell left the Irken a tad uneasy. For all he knew the boy was installing spy cameras and audio bugs into his walls upstairs, completely avoiding the terms of their truce but in an odd sense, Zim knew Dib would not do so.
After so many fights and so many years the two had developed an unspoken code of conduct, almost rules to their epic battle. There would be honor and dignity in their last fight, and though Zim could not speak for the human, the Invader had grown too much an ego to simply blast

Once outside the cafeteria he braced himself against the wall in his usual stalking-Zim-mode, his eyes darting here and there as he looked for signs of the alien. They still had class after lunch, but then again, avoiding Keef was a little more important -- they needed to join forces and think of a better plan than last time to rid themselves of the absurdly happy boy.
They could afford to skip class just this once.
Dib ran down the empty hall towards the double doors that led to the front of the school, inhaling fresh air as he burst through the doors and spotted Zim walking down the street. "Zim!" Dib called to him, irritated that the alien was just going ditch him after he saved him. "Hey!" Dib took the steps three at a time before he was on solid ground running to catch up with the shorter male. "We have to think of a plan to defeat Keef once and for all." He said, keeping stride with the Irken whether he liked it or not. He tucked his hands in his p

As the elevator came to a halt, Dib stood back to his usual height as he exited the capsule and walked into the dimly lit lab. He tucked his hands in his pockets, glancing to the Irken before he looked around the space again.
He hadn't been in Zim's lab much.
He'd snuck in a few times, but he had never stayed long enough to observe anything -- he was always kicked out before he got to train anything to memory.
"So where is it?" Dib asked, not making a move to explore. They might have a truce now, but Zim was still prone to out-bursts and he really didn't feel like getting in a fight right now. They needed to concentrate because Keef could be back at any moment.
Zim strutted across the metal floor of his lab as if he would know how to find his way around while blind and deaf. Which he somewhat did, considering he was there long enough, and having a computerized memory system in his PAK didn't hurt much either.
The only illumination came from a few overhead
