A Chilly DayIt seemed like Leaf-Fall had finally arrived. The leaves on the trees had slowly begun to change to their warmer colors and fall to the ground in piles, most of which were now spread evenly throughout the MoonClan camp's ground due to the rambunctious kittens jumping in and playing with the leaves, scattering them on everything--and everyone.A Chilly Day in Short Stories More Like This
Fallenstar emerged from his den for the third time that day, having also directed the moonhigh patrol and joining dawn patrol. He stretched and yawned; there was so much work to do now that he was also taking over Spiceshadow's responsibility, now that the three-legged tom had injured his shoulder beyond repair and stepped down. Fallenstar didn't trust anyone well enough to take on the position of Deputy in Spiceshadow's place, except maybe his brothers, whom he'd sworn off choosing them in case anyone accused him of nepotism. Neither were the warriors who were resting after this morning's patrol. She shrugged the thought away. It wouldn't hurt anyone to deal with the laughter. Besides, kit's are only kit's for so long.
