Yes, we're back on the gun-debate-thing. And this time the pro-gun crowd are pissing me off because they've set in motion a chain of events that will stifle the potentially fabulous ability to transfer what you create on your computer into the real world.
The man behind it harps on about liberty being his motivation for doing it.
Liberty has to be tempered with responsibility, otherwise you just have anarchy. Using new technology to build a gun doesn't make you a champion for freedom, it makes you an attention seeking moron who gives the powers-that-be REASON to restrict it. They will now do everything the can to prevent the proliferation of the technology. They

"Explicit Pornography"?! Aw, jeez, guys. You must have the worst collection of porn on the planet to think that was explicit.
A 90s Rochelle Swanson outing was more explicit that that pic, and that stuff got aired, uncut, on terrestrial UK TV (god bless you Channel 5, you made the young Jack jolly).
I believe that, for something to be labelled "explicit", SOMETHING must be visibly going in SOMEWHERE. Such was not the case in the offending image,

If so, I really hope they go the whole hog and make Batman old.
If it were my project, I'd write it so Batman had been at the crime fighting game for decades prior to the alien-in-tights showing up. With Superman around, what use is there for The Batman? The authorities have always been gunning for him, but the public had an uneasy tolerance. Now everyone see him as a dangerous liability.
Of course, Batman is the toughest, most cunning man on the planet. If you could just take him out, it would have been done by now. So Superman is asked to deal with him.
The whole story would be based around the conflict of ideals: both support the concept of justice, but while Superman has faith in the system, Batman sees it as totally impotent and has taken on the responsibility of supporting it on his own shoulders.
And Batman would win.
Batman ALWAYS wins.
Titties? DENIED!I honestly can't remember the first pair of boobs I ever saw. They were probably in an Arnie film, or some other 80s action flick, as every such movie back then had at least one moment when a random, busty extra got them out for a second or two (track down the one from Commando. It's f**king hilarious).Titties? DENIED! in Personal More Like This
First porn mag was one I found by accident.
First soft-core flick was stumbled upon by channel surfing late at night when no one else was around.
You really had to work for your porn in the days before the internet, so it's no surprise that people of 2013 get a little twitchy when the government announce plans to restrict access to it.
I agree that kids shouldn't see certain content, but I disagree that them doing so causes the "corruption/corrosion" some folk claim. That stems from kids not being told about what they're seeing, and has less to do with the media they're exposed to and more to do with sh*t parenting.

It started in Northampton earlier in the year and has since spread to a number of other towns and cities around Fair Blighty.
The horrific Northampton Clown was the first. “Patient Zero”, if you will. He would simply….appear. Sometimes he would knock on doors and randomly offer to paint the window frames for the bemused resident (though he never seemed to carry paint or a brush). On another occasion, he emerged from a lake and handed out balloons.
Since this hellish creature first showed up, there have been a deluge of sightings, from right across the country, causing such a degree of distress that the authorities are issuing advice.

I am so bored with the standard aesthetic of RPGs.
Swords, sorcery, European environments.
I’m sure that my weariness of these visuals stems from the fact I live in England, and that I grew up playing amid the ruins that scatter the borderlands of the North East. Ancient mounds, the remnants of Hadrian’s wall, fallen abbeys and frontier fortifications; because I see all that in REAL LIFE, I have no desire to wander digital versions.
Fable 2 and 3 are exceptions. Those are clearly fantasy versions of England, but they nod to different periods in history. 16th and 17th century rather than 11th and 12th. Flintlocks over chainmail. It adds something new.
I never bothered to finish Skyrim, but I’ve played Fallout 3 and New Vegas a dozen times, because the latter games are, to British eyes, a more exotic world. They are just as strange and foreign to me as a land l
Yay for American Independence. Thanks to the rebellion/revolution, the British Government changed the way it conducted itself so as to ensure such an incident would never happen again.
Had they not, a revolution similar to that seen in France, 1789, would have very likely occurred on home turf.
The French leadership maintained their "all powerful" façade, and in assisting the American colonies, spent a fortune. This further angered their already irate people, who, in seeing that it could be done, decided to have a little revolution of their own.
So, with the economy booming thanks to renewed transatlantic trade between Fair Blighty and the newly formed United States and with Britain's arch enemy France focused on tearing itself apart, there was nothing to stop the Empire's expansion.

Squirrels....of DEATH.As a rule, I run under the assumption that if word of an outbreak or pandemic suddenly hits the news, it's already too late. So, when I hear that a squirrel just outside Los Angeles has been found dead and racked with The Plague, I get a little freaked out.
That's THE Plague.
You know: the one that killed 200 million people in Europe BEFORE the advent of mass transportation.
Now, there are plague animals running wild all over the place, and the Black Death can actually be treated at the moment, but the bacterium has been at large for centuries, giving it plenty of time to turn real nasty. Our antibiotics get less effective by the day, with the bugs they're used on becoming more and more resistant to them through misu

I believe that Minecraft is the future of massive multiplayer games, and I'm surprised that none of the big developers/publishers have cottoned onto it yet.
They look at Minecraft and think its success is down to its business model, or to its blocky, retro charm.
It's down to the fact that you get out of it what you put into it.
With a MMORPG, there are pre-scripted quests. With Minecraft, you set the quests yourself or others.
User created content is the key. All you have to do is provide the players with the tools to build.
There are two types of gamer: wall builders and wall breakers.
Wall builders are the ones that spend an age in an RTS game getting their base just right. They play SimCity and act as Dungeon Master during an RPG.
Wall breakers are the type to follow the mission brief. They get set a quest and they follow it. They're the Call of Duty crowd and they're never more happy than when
New models tomorrow!Hi guys! I just wanted to give you all a quick rundown as to what was coming up. Since my lego order isn't here yet, I'm going to be posting a lego model I've been meaning to post for quite a while now. I also have a few small mini figures to throw in as well. This should tide you all over until next weekend. I just hope that package gets here soon. I have a back log of tons of new minifigure designs but I can't show them yet until this basted order gets here. I wonder how long it would take to get here if they strapped my order to a rocket?New models tomorrow! in Personal More Like This

New Models Tomorrow ''Liberator Soldiers''I know I usually update my page with new minifigs, but I kinda got a little tied up today. So instead of the new minifigures being uploaded today, they'' be here tomorrow for sure. On a side note. Within the next week or so I'll be getting a new camera and some new lego platforms, so pretty soon you'll be seeing a little change in scenery and quality. ^^New Models Tomorrow ''Liberator Soldiers'' in Personal More Like This
It's finally here! ^^Well everybody it's finally done. The epic dragon is 100% complete! I gotta say that this re-build was really a lot of fun! There were a few headaches along the way but what was the hardest thing was that it took a only three days to build but out of the whole 72 hours I only slept about 6 hours because I really wanted to get this done because my midterms are coming up and I didn't want to disappoint any of you who were looking forward to this. ^^ Before I move on, for those of you might ask that you want a step by step build on my dragon that isn't gonna happen. I jumped around so much the only real part I could help you with is the legs and the wings. A step by step is kinda outta the question, sorry. Moving on, the dragon wasn't the only thing on my to-do list for today. If you read my journal yesterday you'll remember that I said I'll be adding some new minifigures as well. Well I don't go back on my word. Ladies and gentlemen I give you two new soldier types. The Wolf aIt's finally here! ^^ in Personal More Like This
NEW MODEL: MX-81 Hypersonic Operations AircraftWell as promised here is one of my favorite lego models of all time. Introducing the MX-81 Hypersonic Operations Aircraft. This giant comes packing tons of play features that anyone who's a lego fan would love to have. This also makes one heck of a show piece as well, which is mostly the reason I haven't posted it here. It's been sitting in my display case since 2008 and really hasn't moved since. There was another reason I brought it of the display case as well, which is that like the Epic and Lightning dragons, I will be modifying and improving the MX-81 Hypersonic Operations Aircraft. There is actually quite a bit of things I can improve on this model. Most of its mechanical, but aesthetic wise its pretty much perfect. The links are below. Too much to do, and so little time!Hi guys, just wanted to let you know I'm not dead. I've been really with school lately because I'm transffering to the main branch of my college for the fall and everything is a bit hectic at the moment. I really don't know when I'll be uploading anything big again. It might not be til the end of April when I'm done with finals. That doesn't mean I'm not working on anything though. Right now I'm actually trying to figure out how I can further improve the mars mission hypersonic dropship I have. I wanna give it a full blown makeover, and give it an up to date look. If I had a time machine...Ya know if I had a time machine I'd be using it right now to find out when that blasted lego order of mine would get here because it still isn't here yet. As of right now I'm on fall break at my school, which means I'm off for the next four days. Now I called lego today and gave them my tracking number, and from what I can tell my order was shipped from Connecticut on the 26th of Sept. and is currently in New Jersey. Right now I'm a little tempted to hop in my corvette and floor it all the way to New Jersey and snatch it up at the post office and run away like some evil villain. MWUAHAHAHAHA *ahem* As of now I'm not too sure what I'll be posting this weekend. I have a few ideas but haven't settled on anything as of yet. I just want my order. Not dead, but I got great news!Hi guys. Sorry for the lack of updates, but my "wonderful" teachers at school decided to go medieval on my ass this week with 4 tests and 3 papers to write up. But that's all in the past now so it's time to get back to work. Since I didn't post anything last weekend and probably not anything this weekend; because of schoolwork, I'm gonna grind through this weekend getting a little something prepared for you all this up coming thanksgiving week. What I have in mind is that my school break starts this upcoming Wednesday and runs til Sunday, so I figured I'd add something new to the gallery each day. That's five days of new lego material! This doesn't mean there is going to be little content either, oh no. Also I got my new camera last week and I am loving every minute using it (SO SHINY)! Thats all for now, have a great weekend! Not dead, but I got great news! in Personal More Like This
So much this weekend! ^^Well everyone it's that time again. Time for some awesome new models and minifigures. This week I've got a revamped version of my Lightning Dragon. I've also got three new minifigures lined up for you as well. All of which bare the style of the samurai. The first minifigure is the lowest class of them all, the Ghost. The next up is the Raiden model. Lastly is Raijingeki of the Bushido class. Each one sports different traits and attributes. On a side note, you'll start seeing more minifigures like Raijingeki in the near future. I plan on using this new type of model frame as much as possible. It's given me so many more new possibilities than its predecessor. Now for next week I have five new minifigures already done. All that needs to be done is for them to be uploaded. For now check out this weeks newest models below, and as always leave a comment and drop a fav if you like. Until next weekend everyone, I bid you adieu. ^^So much this weekend! ^^ in Personal More Like This

No, my journal and icon wasn't really censored. It's to show what would happen if the bill became law.
This one is a bit annoying. Quite a few people were saying "People, stop jumping on bandwagons to be cool!" Or "Why is everyone talking about it now instead of when it first came out? You only care because it's a trend now? I new about it way back in 2011." Um, excuse me, but please don't live in

At a young age I began to notice this difference. I was attracted to neither boys nor girls. In middle school, I liked math, and in college, I did my homework all night long.
Being Chinese is not a choice, it is genetic. There are risks to being Chinese because society cannot accept the union between a human and a textbook. I have Chinese friends who didn't need sex because they could foreplay instruments and get screwed by O Chem instead. Now, they don't have a social life and are shunned by others.
But fear not, life will get better. I grew up as a Chinese and I am proud of it (just look at my tumblr user name Maid-en-China ). There is the LGBTC (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Chinese) community to help you be comfortable with your Chinese orientation.

SpasticMoving to another country (England) as been quite the eye opener when it comes to culture clashes. I was prepared for the big things like driving on the other side of the road, but overall the English culture is so like the Danish that a lot of small differences sneak up on me. Like how a lot of stores have only one big queue, or that people will offer you tea when you visit but not even think to ask what kind you want because they all drink the same thing (In Denmark if people have tea they will offer you at least five different kinds).Spastic in Personal More Like This
A favorite of mine so far has been the word spastic. In Denmark it's completely neutral if you call someone who actually is a spastic a spastic. That's the name of the muscle disease.
But as I learned after far too long, if is very much an insult in England. When people asked me about my convention experiences I would often mention a spastic girl who came up to my table at most cons in Denmark, and how we got to know each other well enough that on

1) They are people. While they could turn invisible to humans they weren't considered spiritual creatures, but people with their own cultures. The troll culture, the elf culture, the gnome culture, and so on. They were believed to live normal everyday lives with their own conflicts and struggles, much like fantasy races in modern fiction.
2) They will treat you like you treat them. While some creatures are more dangerous than others, they always respond to respect with respect, kindness with kindness, and rudeness will be severely punished. This goes for ALL of them, even those popular media has taught you are either nice or evil.
3) They are connected with sex. Some like the huldra are inherently sexual, but even those that are not sexual in nature like gnomes still hold a stronger power over people who think a lot about sex, such as young people
