Just another practice 'Paper' style. I wanted to upload a picture to show how I draw Rosalina in Paper form. I will do one for Daisy soon. Rosalina is a very tall character, and she was so hard to shrink down and make her pose look (semi) natural. I hope it works. Thanks for looking, favs/comments are appreciated!
I did NOT draw this. The original is here: fav.me/d3kz5e9 I coloured lineart by the amazing artist ~Peach-X-Yoshi because a) this is some amazing lineart b) I wanted more practice at digital art and c) I have a huge art block. ;-;
Anyway, I had a join.me up when I was doing this, thank you very much ~IblisPower for keeping me company. I tried to give her pretty make-up too, I put lip gloss on and very light eyeshadow. I hope it's visible. (Gosh, I do hope for a lot in artist's comments.)
What I was going for here was a 'gentle' look - soft colours, very soft shading. I hope it worked. I also hope the wings look ok, I was completely making it up here. Also, the sky was really hard to do so please don't complain that it looks ridiculous. :L You may notice that the lineart has changed; basically, I couldn't get it to work with SAI, it kept glitching, so I had to print screen it and go over all the lines again. But it's not so bad, I hope. At least I made it colour co-ordinate.

Also, I am looking for pretty lineart to colour. If you have any recommendations, I'd be happy to take them into consideration!
UPDATE i redid her hair because it was pissing me off i don't know how i managed to missthe hairline like that i'm sorry
I did NOT draw this, the original is here: [link] by *kimeria87 Again, more colouring practice. Rosalina is so much fun to colour, though. x3
Ok, I am sure somebody has done this background before. Not sure though, so I did it anyway. She's sitting on that part of the Observatory with the flower patches. That sky. It took me so long. I love the result, though.
What I was going for here was a more 'brush' feel compared to the softer colouring of my other recent colouring, the angelic Rosalina. () Which one do you like better?
Thanks for looking, faves are appreciated and comments even more so.

I started drawing this last sometime last month, before E3, but I couldn't get it done before I went on my trip, so... here it is now! I'm super stoked for A Link Between the Worlds.
I also think Link is SO cute with pink hair (I know it was only his sprite that had pink hair, but that's just soooo cute!!!) And it's also really cute when Zelda's taller than Link, so I drew her a bit taller. And I REALLY love the Master Sword from LttP. It looks so colorful! I musta painted that pyramid like.... 50 times. This woulda been done forever ago if it weren't for that pyramid.
First note: PLEASE DON'T SPOIL ANYTHING. I've heard Groose is awesome, but I only just started playing the game and I don't know anything about the guy yet.
~Nevet1212 wanted to help out with the finances on getting things for our baby on the way, so in his commission request...it was Groose!
Naturally, since I started playing the game I couldn't pass it up! The idea was to have some scaffolding around his head, but I thought about how the game is built. I went with a contraption that, I'm sure, Groose built himself--using wooden tongs to hold his pompadour in place against the rolling pin. Gotta have that round shape!
I also went for more of that game-style look. It was a different, yet fun experience!
"Once in a year, she calls her dear ones home with song. Together, they celebrate the lives of those lights whom gave their life to bring back another...and watch as others are born from the waters of ordeals."
I was fortunate enough to get an extension on the deadline for *Woodland-Mel's contest at , and I finished it just in time! This piece has really brought me out of my artist's block, so it's something I really had fun doing.
Originally the idea was far different, but I couldn't stop thinking about the Great Fairy from Twilight Princess, so I used her instead. I think it turned out better though.
Commission for Good heavens, this was an interesting project~ I've always had a hard time drawing Link and Zelda (it's Ganondorf's fault, I swear! ), so when I got this commission I wanted to push through and get past that. I also had the option of painting either OoT or TP Link/Zelda, and since all I see nowadays is the TP pair I wanted to do the former.
I hope you enjoy it! I spent a great deal of time on this one, so please comment/fave!
Ness takes a break from his journey to save the world. He goes home and has a tea party with his little sister, Tracy. Tracy: How's your tea, brother? Ness: O-oh, it's quite lovely, thank you. *Pretends to sip the imaginary tea*
Replaying Earthbound lately, and I get the urge to draw scenes from the game. Or, like this one, pictures of scenes that didn't happen in the game but did happen in my mind while playing... Uh, yah.
I LOVE this game. x3 It's one that makes you almost feel like you're there in the world presented to you.
I love The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. 'Specially since the Zelda Collection disk I've got doesn't freeze whenever I play MM anymore. YEY! Now I can finish the game someday.
This is Anju fanart. I dunno why but I like Anju (And Anju's mom and grandmother, Romani, Cremia, the bank guy, the Zoras and Indigo-Gos, Rosa sisters, that big turtle thing, Skull Kid, the Giants, running with the Bunny Hood on, swimming as a Zora, a buncha other stuuuufs). Whenever I see her in Clock Town, I think that she's cute in some strange way. I liked her character in Ocarina of Time too, but it's Majora's Mask that has the characters with lots of personality to them and that's when I really liked her the bestest.
I guess that she's thinkin' about Kafei, her fiance who's gone missing, in this picture, hmm.
Oh, wow, it's been a long time since I've done this, posting art... Now DA has the submission process done up to be all fast and convenient, FINALLY! xD I used to dread posting some new pictures just because I was too lazy to go through all those choices and junk.
I hadn't been drawing much lately. (Phantasy Star Universe is a big reason to blame for that+laziness) But I still love doing it, when I get the urge.
I was watching an episode of Pokemon a few days ago, on the tv. It was an ep that had something to do with Pokemon trainer May, and I like May, she's a cutie. Almost as cool as Misty is, to me. So I felt like drawing her, and I just finished what I had started a few days ago, tonight.
It's probably got mistakes in it, don't be afraid to point them out to me! But it was fun making this, so, yey!
Random note: Tales of Eternia "Inferia Battle" song is awesomesauce~
Thank you for letting me color this Original lines [link] Speed paint [link]
This is of the Nintendo Princesses Peach and Daisy Picking on little Princes Rosalina. But They do have a point she hasn't been in a Mario Party but I don't think they make those any more. So she will never be one of them. Any way I hope you enjoy the show
Background was something I made from an older project [link] and used it again for this (I am a wee bit lazy admit it)
okay I get it there is a Mario party 9 that came out in February but I never saw ads for it, Still she isn't in it so point still stands
Thank you for letting me color this Lines fav.me/d4zs46y Time 1 hour 23 minutes
I feel Peachy right now lol I wanted to do some peach and this is sweet simple and nice and this was one thing I was going to do on Nintendo day live stream but I couldn't think of music for the speed paint and blah blah blah
So what do you guys think simple cute pink so much pink.
It is that time of year again Christmas that means time to bring out a Pinup of a girl in a Santa costume. This years guest. Skyward Sword's Zelda. Yea I decided because its based more or less on her outfit I would do the Santa outfit as her outfit in the game (hence the pink Santa costume bleach not a big fan of pink.
Any way the gift I wonder who its for? mmm its mostly green with some gold....I wonder if it is for Link?
Oh the background is my attempt of making the snow cap snowy area that was in twilight princess.....whose name I can't remember forgive me zelda fans
"This is your land. Wherever I go. Way out here I know...This is your land."
('This Is Your Land' by Simple Minds)
As a child, the most captivating things about 'The Lion King' were the songs, the characters and the cartoony animation. But as you get older, you begin to appreciate the more subtle details, such as the score, the design, biblical references etc. For me; one of the best things about this movie is the Art. Those breathtaking landscapes, the scenes and the accurate anatomy on the characters are nothing short of inspiring. Long Live TLK!!
It had been a while since i did an elaborate piece, and this was inspired by a spectacular concept artwork that belongs to the Disney company.
"Hearts call, hearts fall. Swallowed in the rain. Who knows? Life grows. Hollow and so vain."
('Winter Light' by Linda Ronstadt)
*Yes i know i've used this song as inspiration before, but i couldn't help it, it's too damn perfect for this deviation!*
Simba is not sad or anything, i think he's perhaps lost in thought or is just enjoying some bittersweet solitude.
I love rain! We've had a lot of rainy days here lately, and i swear; if it wasn't too damn cold i would just sit in the rain all day long. I love it! i love the smell, the feel, the sound, it's very inspiring! and so this piece was born.
This is the beginning of a new mini series called 'Simba's Jungle Life' I know i'm doing a lot of mini series at the same time, but oh well, one more couldn't hurt. Basically it's about Simba's life in exile without having met Timon & Pumbaa, i've cut them out completely. Yeah, the film would be a lot heavier and perhaps too heavy for children without them, but i really think that Timon & Pumbaa clash with the tone of the film way too much. So let's just pretend that they don't exist. I know that T & P saved Simba from dehydration and vultures, but in this alternative universe; Simba eventually regained consciousness, got up, moved on and spent the rest of his childhood and adolescence alone in his jungle paradise.
*Other deviations in this series: - 'King of My Jungle' [link]
By popular vote - Mufasa wins! Not a close fight at all! *43 - 11* ouch! Sorry Kerchak, you're OUT!!
My second one in the series.
Mufasa and Kerchak, two father figure giants with a bad temper! Despite being two very different animals from two very different films, they're both quite similar. They both are leaders of a large group who depends on them for protection, they both have a short fuse, both are frighteningly huge in size, are very powerful, and they were both murdered in cold blood while trying to protect their family. It makes me wonder whether or not Kerchak's personality was inspired by Mufasa's, however i find Kerchak a lot less likeable than Mufasa.
Voters decided the winner by considering the following components: Size, age, experience, agility, power, intelligence, personality, animal type and any other background information. Or at least that was the plan, i'm pretty sure many of the votes were based on preferred character (even though i specifically said NOT to base your vote on favourite) i tried not to count those votes, but logic still dictacted Mufasa as the overall winner!
MUFASA: 43 KERCHAK: 11

Pretty sure this is the first one to feature a cameo which is something Iíve been thinking about doing since way back when I did Mario vs. Meat Boy (wanted to put Bandage Girl in there somewhere).
This also marks the first one of these Mario Versus pieces where I actually did thumbnail layouts before I did the actual drawing in my sketchbook. I realized that some of these pieces were hurting because I started directly on a blank page with only a vague idea of what I wanted instead of trying to work it out via thumbnails first. Now I have clearer compositions and far fewer erase marks. I also made sure to NOT half-ass the background this time and I did a pretty good job if I do say so myself.
The linework for the next 3 of these pieces is already done so itíll be Angry Birds, Master Chief and Faith (from Mirrorís Edge) in that order.
In trying to change things up a bit for these fights (and inspired by some great Tomb Raider concept art of Lara hanging on for dear life) I tried to do an extreme perspective shot here which is something I haven't attempted for these before, I think. It turned out rather well and it helps that it was a nature setting because I can kinda fudge with things a little.
Does anyone care about the progress animations? It's a bit of work and I'm wondering if it's worth the effort.
The challenge this week was to re-envision Spider-Man as a Dragonball Z, Naruto or One Piece character. I have utmost affection for DBZ (and none for the other two) so the decision was clear.
DBZ character designs tend to have very loose clothing and that just didn't sit right with me for someone as flexible as Spider-Man so I gave him a tweaked version of the more form-fitting Saiyan outfit. Also, because Spidey's face is covered (and, to me, Spider-Man IS the mask so I couldn't take it away), I decided to throw in Mary Jane in there so I could have a "Toriyama face" in the piece. I drew heavy inspiration from Bulma for Mary Jane (the MJ on her t-shirt is my favorite part) and I kinda prefer how she turned out over Spider-Man.
As far as the background goes, well, I've been toying with the idea of using a photo background for a future Spider-Man piece and once this came up I decided to give it a shot. I don't think it quite works as well as I would've liked (the Spider-Man piece would've had a much softer and realistic rendering style) but I kinda dig how it turned out.
