Here's a big project that I'm helping out on. I'm helping out with a card game based on the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" by Luo Guanzhong. For those of you that aren't familiar with this novel, it's a great big epic based on the Three Kingdoms era of Dynastic China. The story takes place after the fall of the Han Dynasty and the ensuing power struggle between various factions, most notably the clans of Wu, Wei and Shu. The achievements of the many warriors, warlords, heroes and villains are detailed throughout the book.
In order left to right: Cao Ren, Cao Hong, Xiahou Yuan, Zhang Liao, Zhang Bao, Zhang Liang, Cheng Yuanzhi, Deng Mao, Cheng Pu and Gan Ning
Clan of Wei: Cao Ren, Cao Hong, Xiahou Yuan, Zhang Liao Clan of Shu: Zhang Bao Clan of Wu: Cheng Pu, Gan Ning Yellow Turbans: Zhang Liang, Cheng Yuanzhi, Deng Mao
Set number four for the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" based card game I'm helping with. Trying to refine my painting methods and steps a bit more. Left to right:
Lu Su, Gao Shun, Huang Gai, Huang Zhong, Sun Shang Xiang, Yue Jin, Zhang He, Zhang Mancheng, Zhao Yun, Zhang Yan
Clan of Wei: Yue Jin, Zhang He Clan of Wu: Lu Su, Huang Gai, Sun Shang Xiang Clan of Shu: Huang Zhong, Zhao Yun Yellow Turbans: Zhang Mancheng Unaffiliated: Gao Shun (Commander under Lu Bu), Zhang Yan (bandit leader)
☼≈≈HOW TO PLAY≈≈☼ Stuck loading? Click the lower left if it's stuck on 100%, otherwise, use Mozilla Firefox. Navigate through the menu, and click on the icons to change her appearance and to add clothes&accessories. To remove things: click (again) on the item in the menu, or just on the item on the doll itself. If you make too much of a mess; there's a RESET button on the last menu page. Likewise, on the last page, drag the ribbons or monsters onto Charlene, or drag them back to the menu to remove them.
edit: please don't trying to sell your creations off as adoptable. I dunno who started the stupid trend of taking dressup games, shipping your creations off and getting people to pay you for them, but it's seriously lame. Link people to the game and let them make their own stuff;; it's what it's there for lol... not only that, but this one is my OC. Having people claim these characters as their own because they bought it off some third party for 50 dA points is really aggravating..
ABOUT: Charlene is an Original Character for the story Reset-It, which has nothing to do with Digimon anymore; This doubles up as a reference for all the clothes she owns, or doesn't own but just imagines that she does♥.
This's something I've been working on for a while; a long while. I planned and drew all of this up in June last year, but it fell to pieces when it came to coding it, and so it's been an on/off project until now.
I went through the painful process of coding it myself, so it's pretty terrible, and I would ask anyone who actually knows how to code these, to please not screw your nose up at me too much (:. I've gone through it pretty intensively trying to clear out all the bugs, but I'm not all the flash-savvy so there's probably still more. Please do let me know if you find glitches/bugs/errors and I'll do what I can to fix them‼
USING I encourage anyone to screen-cap or printscreen what they create here, as I'd love to see what combinations people put together! You're free to post images from the game anywhere you like. While it'd be nice if you could link back to the game, so that other people can play too, that's not mandatory. Anyways; Have Fun!!
It's like 2 or 3 years since I made the original of this, and there's been a new version out for a long while, so it's probably about time I refreshed this with the newest version! So now there's men and ladies. Just hit (ADD) down the bottom left to add a person and get started!
☼≈≈HOW TO PLAY≈≈☼ If this version fails to load, visit DollDivine.com, to play the version hosted there! Simply navigate through the menus down the bottom; ADD and EDIT are your best friends and everything's reasonably intuitive. Click on the buttons and menu icons to change the appearance and to add clothes & accessories. Virtually everything can be recoloured or embellished, so your options here are endless! To remove things: click (again) on the item in the menu, or just on the item on the doll itself. If you make too much of a mess; there's a RESET button on the last menu page!
☼≈≈ABOUT≈≈☼ It’s a game inspired by my OriginalStory, Waivera. The general concept is that it takes place in a world that's absolutely consumed by ocean. The people have evolved and adapted; now surviving by living in towering city spires above the ocean, and they ride around on genetically engineered mutant sea-creatures and stuff (:. The clothes here are basic attire for people who live in/around the water I guess; swimsuits, heavy coats, boots, gloves, and a tonne of belts (:. No weapons (sad) but whatcha gonna do.
At this stage I am probably never going to touch these files again haha; so unfortunately, won't process any kinds of item requests. (I've witnessed first hand people making incredible stuff with the drag&drops, so go nuts with those and you can do pretty much anything)
☼≈≈USING≈≈☼ I encourage anyone to screen-cap or printscreen what they create here, as I'd love to see what combinations people put together! Don't know how to print screen? Click here to learn. You're absolutely free to post images from the game as you like. While it'd be nice if you could link back to the game, so that other people can play too, that's not mandatory. Please don't try to sell them as adoptables though; that's no fun. Share the game with your friends instead so that they can make their characters themselves!
Anyways; Have Fun!!
☼≈≈CREDIT≈≈☼ Big thanks to ~Ola at DollDivine.comwho sponsored the game, and also fixed all the code! Be sure to check out her site if you like dressups cos she's got about the best sorta collection you can find anywhere~~
It may be a bit messy, BUT IT LIVES!! The Knight Builder is now live! Design your little brains out! ^^
A few Rulesy Rules ++++++++++++++++
1.) Garb, Weapons and Class all Match up according to their color!
For Example: The cleric class is yellow, their weapons are yellow, and their classes are yellow. Meanwhile, the rogue class and all related weapons and garb are green. Etc. etc.
2.) Hair Color was too complicated to program in w/o severly limiting the color options. As a compromise, I leave the base hairstyles uncolored and the hair color options are for you to decide! Screencap and color it yourself, or whateva ya want!
And that's all! ++++++++++++++++
The KNIGHT Project
So yesterday I mentioned there would be a project for any of the 101 Knights to get involved in. This really goes for any Patreon supporter. And here it is: Design your knight, screencap it and link me to it in a note. At the end of the week I'll start compiling all these images (and color in the hair) into a masterpost of all the knights. This will be a stand-in for your Knight until I can get around to personally drawing yours!
So design away! When you note me, please tell me your Knightly number as well. If you're a part of the second contingent (that is, those who joined Patreon post-101 Knights) that's fine, I'll be getting your number shortly!
I want to clean up the assets a bit, for tonight this is good enough ^^ Pardon the distortion and noise, raster images don't always port well into vector programs like Flash.
PS. GUYS. Your Knightly numbers can be found Here.
PPS. How to Screencap:
Windows= Press the Windows logo key +PrtScn . The screen will dim for a moment when the screen is copied and saved as a file in the Screenshots folder (which is in your Pictures folder).
Mac= Press command + Shift + 4. A crosshair will appear that will let you select what you want to screencap. The image will appear as png on your desktop.
This isn't... technically... the finished version of the game. But my programmer (understandably) became busy with professional work. And I think it's functional enough to help out some people who are looking for the advice!
Most of the garments have tips attached to them that will display when selected. Each garment has been selected based on research and experience I did focusing on clothing styles that would work for "athletic" "inverted triangle" and "Brick" body types. If anyone has any tips, suggestions, questions, or ideas feel free to ask or comment below.
And, apologies, the form starts out nekkid. But anime nekkid, so it's really fine. ^^
Have fun! And best of luck freegender bros and sistahs out there!
inb4 comment wars about 24 fps vs 60 fps / the human eye perception / console vs. PC etc. etc.
Just a small frames per second test. 60 fps is the frame rate I like. Flash is capable of doing up to 120 fps but I never bothered about that since flash 10 runs on CPU only without using the GPU (as far as I know). That's why I go for 25 fps in my games and don't use 60 fps since it would require lots of calculation in short periods of time (40ms vs. 16.67ms for a frame). It would make the game lag if there is too much action going on. But I do prefer 60 fps!
