This is one of ten pieces I did for the new Star Wars Essential Guide to Warfare. I had a blast working on it and I'm excited that I am able to contribute to the Star Wars universe.

I will be posting them in the order of sequence as it appears in the book. Hope you guys enjoy them!

Admiral Hirken defends the Northern Dependencies during the Fifth Alsakan Conflict. This is one of a series of clashes between the planets Coruscant and Alsakan over the leadership of the Republic that took place over the span of 140 centuries almost 17,000 years BBY(before the Battle of Yavin). Star Wars starships look rather different back in those days when shield technology was rudimentary and instead rely on large reflective armor as their main defense.

The fortress and shipyard world of Kuat, home of Kuat Drive Yards, the manufacturer of the dreaded Imperial Star Destroyer and its cousins. I believe this is the first ever close-up depiction of what the famous shipyard looks like. It was kinda fun to figure out where the main business of Star Destroyer construction would take place. I also made sure that its protected by a ring of formidable Golan Defense Platforms to thwart any would be invaders.

As promised we have hit 1,500 like on our FB project page and so here is the cover art for issue 2, this is the blank version obviously.

I won't go into too much detail about what it is your seeing as you will have to find out fully in the second issue. Regardless it's pretty self explanatory, a giant mechanical spider of sorts is climbing it's way down a large hole that goes through multiple levels of the giant underground city, burst water pipes create massive waterfalls and our protagonists are attempting an escape via drop ship, not sure getting past that beast will be easy :ahoy:

If you like this image be sure to head over to the Telikos Protocol Facebook and show us some love: [link] [link] [link] [link] [link]

The second issue is due out in March.

With SDCC just around the corner and with Telikos Protocol being booted up the waiting list and bagging some floor space we needed some new eye catching banners, what better way to grab peoples attention that with big explosions, giant alien machines, and soldiers in cool poses.

Not much new material mostly this is put together using a few different images form the TP project.

Continuing with my Lunar Helium 3 mining project this image shows the Helium 3 Transport Vehicle. Each one of the huge harvesting platforms has a fleet of 6 H3TV's which can hold a huge amount of refined Helium 3 ferrying it between the constantly moving behemoths to the transport docks dotted around the Lunar surface. Each of these vehicles will make around 6 trips a day and a fully automated but still hold a small crew for safety and maintenance reasons.
Like the giant harvester these vehicles are fitted with polarising plating which prevents the course and dangerous Lunar dust from sticking to the hull and damaging components, despite these methods each vehicle has to undergo a total deep clean once every month to prevent massive systems failure, to make sure the Helium 3 keeps rolling in on time a stand by fleet of H3TV's are located at each transport dock.

The vehicles have a top speed of 20 mph and are powered by small fusion reactors.

Here are the other images in the series.

My entry for CGTalk challenge "EON:Worlds within worlds". basically it was about creating illustration for featured book "EON".
For me Greg's Bear book is all about finding your way home. Under all of this sci-fi technology future plot is a basic need for everyone to find their own place in life. And so I wanted to capture that emotional message in my picture, don't know if I was successful but i tried :]

Photoshop and a little bit of 3d studio ;]

Hope you like it

This is for a 2DArtist Tutorial and that it will be made in 3D for 3DCreative magazine.
I inspired in Gaudi architecture. This organic style could be great for a videogame environment.

Finally finished! I've chipped away at this piece for almost 3 months, the longest time span and most hours I've ever put into a painting at this point. Next big piece I'll just have to ramp up the scale even more :)

Nayora slumps to the ground, taking off her battered armor. Much of the suit is over heating from being pushed to and beyond it's limits, burning her skin in places, compounding on the injuries inflicted by her foes. She's survived this time but knows fighting like this, she wont live forever.

Several ships arrived in system carrying a small but specialized force of counter shield equipped bio-neural mechs and infantry.
The ships also mounted massive offensive shield arrays that can cook anything on the planet surface. What they didn't expect was an Elemental being able to jump into low orbit, putting an end to the naval bombardment, leaving the ground forces stranded and without critical fire support.

I took XenoFrobe's kiriban request, butchered the idea, and turned it into a painting of my own (I think he still likes it though :)) Also featuring an Elemental that I created for my number1 fan.

A tank fires a glancing shot narrowly deflecting of to the side of an Elementals shield. With her approval the suit AI quickly returns a cutting field through the tanks turret ring. It should no longer be a threat.
(this scene could make a lot more sense / work better, but it's a pretty lose piece)

One of my favorite pieces from the Contact book, maybe because I came up with the idea for this one, or at least part of it.

Showing off some of the high tech gear you can put on the field in Contact. Power armor with anti-gravity packs, plasma rifles, and particle cannons. All while jumping from your supersized vtol, explosions to your back :D

Hey hey hey!

This is the closest I've come to a speedpaint in ages.. Can't tell you how much I miss painting personal stuff :( Approximately 5 hours spent on it. A modern take on a roman legionnaire .

Hope y'all are having a nice holiday!

EDIT: brightened and cropped the left side slightly, was too dark

lol I'm so clever it's ridicilous... some ship dodging missiles. Or missiles dodging a ship? A longer speedpaint tho, maybe around 4 hours or so. Seems like I'm getting slower,, maybe just getting older

And a big hello to all my new watchers!
