a sort of "before - Thor" scene... the asgardian princes in their early twenty years ^^
making strips 'bout them is sooooo funny! XD AND a good exercise... i'm learning to use photoshop, helped by the always patient - who, by the way, inpired me this comic, because of her friendly manly brofists!(which destroy my poor shoulders )
I believe I'm not the only one who think about what kind of compensation scheme did our heroes and Odin find agreeable, because to be honest one country invasion to another would leave a very complicated compensation scheme and diplomacy, let alone from another realm
For instance, we can use gold as our currency because it is limited and all, but what if a humongous amount of it enters our market, then voila! you'll got another shiny pebbles on the side of the roads.
same goes to gems and precious minerals, in this case our market is really strict in what is marketable and whatnot, do gems from another realm would qualify as precious in ours? and do they safe for us?
and how if the payment scheme in the form of service or cultural exchange? what would the participant status would be? and what would be regarded as legal and illegal? and would they have political immunity?
in the end, I just think too seriously about the details XD and the strip, it was funnier in my head
anyway, hope you like it and get all the references
I'm not even going to try and explain this one...lets just say it was an idea that came to me at 3 in the morning last night. Because I finally watched Captain America! And damn...(I don't normally say this) Chris Evans is HAWT. what am I talking about I always say that xD *cough* So I uh...watched that yesterday and I really wanted to do a comic with him!
I liked the idea that Captain America and Thor generally have no idea of these 'earth technologies' (Thor being from Asguard and Steve from 1940's) so going into Tony's house (BLOODY MANTION/TOWER SHOULD I SAY) would be rather...overwhelming?
So much so that they get scared of a toaster popping up...which I can fully understand. xDDD And Hawkeye I'm sorry about your toast!

Listen to this while reading, it makes a whole lot more sense if you haven't heard the song... [link]

And now onto the picture! Ok so I didn't write the lyrics, but I when I saw this I realllly wanted to draw Nick Fury singing it with the Avengers! This song was practically played throughout my childhood...O.o And I have never drawn so many Nick Fury's in my life...
For anyone who didn't read my journal, I'm back from my holiday now. although its fairly obvious xD
