The Aftermath (ZaDr) ~ Chapter 1
Red sat with a bored expression as he watched Purple stuff his face with doughnuts. His eye began to twitch as he listened to the disgusting sound of the other Tallest's lips smacking together. Finally growing tired of the sound, Red yelled at Purple."Pur, it's been three HOURS. Put down the disgusting earth food that idiot Zim sent and do something productive!"
Tallest Purples' eyes widened comically. He looked down at the sugary treats in his hands and then back at Red. "Bu- but Reeeeed~. They're soooooooo good!" He gave the other tallest puppy dog eyes, his lip pouting adorably. "Earth sweets are soooooo much better than Irks!"
Red sighed and rolled his eyes. "I've known you since we were smeets Pur. That look lost its effect a LONG time ago."
Purple looked close to tears as he reluctantly put the doughnuts down on the ship's control panel. The box of Earth goodies in the corner hit a lever which, consequently, blew up a casino pl

I was having that day a week ago. I was sitting on an old wood bench perched on a small hill outside the school during lunch. I was eating a sandwich, alone of course, until I heard someone coming from behind. I ignored them in fear of making eye contact with a face I didn't want to see at the moment.
Then I saw the person go around me and sit on the bench across from me.
It was Zim.
He too had a lunch and he dropped the brown paper bag onto the table and sat down.
I had the biggest urge to cry but I supressed it. What I didn't do was shut my mouth.
"I'm so alone." I said to the wood table.
Zim nodded. "Zim is too." he said. Zim sounded far less depressed than I did.
"No one loves me " I choked.
I saw Zim look up at my down casted face. I didn't know what was going on inside my head or Zim's.
"Zim knows not of this 'love'." The alien said almost curiously.
Then it happened. I br

"ZIM! It's YOUR turn to work the cash register! Get over here!" called Zim's boss. Zim groaned as he was bowling fries into hot grease; it splatting at his fine skin, making him wince every time a bubble popped.
"C-coming!" Zim shouted, dropping the fries as someone else took over the bubbly grease job. Zim was now about 20 years old and working at Mcmeaty's. He was tall and looked more like a 16 year old geek teen than a man. He was hunched over, lanky, out of place and most of all...working at a fast food place, which he hated.
"Zim! You better not fail at this! Take the people's orders, and DON'T bad talk them or you're FIRED!" shouted Zim's boss before he disappeared behind the kitchen to yell at the other people working there. Zim huffed at the cranky old fart.

The two males thrust their tongues into each other's mouths. The green skinned male yanked the shirt of the paled skinned human, crushing their stomachs together forcefully.
"Z-Zim! You're- crushing me!" the human groaned into the heated alien's mouth.
"Shhh!" Zim growled.
Zim then attacked the stupid human's neck, making the human yelp and moan at the same time.
"Zim!" the black haired boy gasped.
But Zim continued. The alien would bite then lick the wounds harshly.
"S-someone will see us! Y-You idiot!" the human complained as he pushed Zim by the shoulders. "Quit it!"
Zim stopped what he was doing to glare daggers at the squirming human.

Zim had left work around 5. He didn't take the alleyways; not wanting to get in a fight, killed, or raped, because now he had something to look forward to in life.
Once Zim got to his apartment, he walked in, unsure of what to do next. Once he walked into his house, he smelled...Hamburgers? Once Zim had smelled himself, he realized it was him. He smelled of work.
Zim didn't want to smell like work when he went out with Dib. But why should it matter? They are friends, just hanging out normally...no reason to get fancy. However, Zim had the need to look his best; but why? It bugged the alien a bit.
Zim shook it off and took a quick shower. Because it was a human shower and it used water, he had to cover his body in paste before going in. His soap also had paste in it. Surprisingly, it left Zim's very clean and soft after.
Zim got dressed in a tight dark purple V-neck shirt and black skinny jeans with red converse. This was Zim's normal wear, but at least he looked well enough for Dib. Ho

Zim kept purring out contently towards Dib. He wasn't like a cat of course, because cats couldn't purr and meow at the same time. However, Zim could speak and purr in his throat at the same time.
"How has life been for you since you've moved away? Still in touch with your sister and parent unit?" Zim asked, wanting to get caught up with Dib.
The question threw the human off a bit, he didn't know Zim would really care about that but the black haired boy tried to answer as best as he could.
"Gaz? She's off to college in game design of course. She called me about a week ago so I should call her again soon. My dad...is probably doing the same old shit. I don't really care about him, we don't keep in touch at all. After more scary pop-ups and flinches from the alien, the movie ended as it showed the credits. Zim sighed and stood up, stretching his arms out and groaning but he smiled satisfied and quite goofy as well.
"Mmm...That was a great movie." Zim said, arms over his head as he heard his back pop quite loudly. Dib stretched as well with a yawn. The movie was good but watching with Zim was sooo much better.
"Hope you didn't mind me laying all over you...it's just me trying to get in your pants. I wasn't scared." Zim joked with his goofy and overly joyful smile.
Dib blushed madly, shifting his weight nervously. He knew it was a joke but for him, it was something he kind of wanted, despite his fear of intimacy. It was different with Zim yet it was so foreign wanting someone so bad.
Zim saw Dib get a bit nervous, shifting on his feet and blushing. The alien sighed and dropped his arms. "Ya know Dib, if my flirting makes you feel uncomfortable, Zim can stop." Zim said, reassuringly.

Dib nodded his head at the idea and stretched his body around to find corners. The human relized that the giant cluster of humans was caused by the mini bar up ahead, at the edn to this hall.
Dib looked left and saw a fair clear corner and carried Zim towards it in a hurry, as in to claim the spot. When they got there, Dib looked at Zim and smiled, almost tired.

Sixteen years ago was the beginning of my end. 'How dare him' Zim thought. 'How dare he ignore Zim!' Rage boiled up inside the tiny invader as he stormed after his nemesis. He felt a sense of déjà vu, as he recalled Dib refusing to fight with him beforebut he had at least WARNED Zim!
It was hot outside. One of those days that made the threat of Global warming that much more plausible. The sky was a disheartening burgundy color, the sun beaming down with pinpoint precision on anyone who was unlucky enough to be outside at the current moment.
Fortunately, for nearly everyone else in the crappy little town, they were indoors, watching television and drinking cold beverages. Not so fortunately, Dib was the person the sun was beaming down on.
It didn't do much to increase his good mood. Not that there had been much of a good one in the first place. He irritatedly whipped away a droplet of sweat that was rolling its way down his forehead. Why was his house so far away? Why was it so freaking
StrengthNeither of them thought it would happen. Zim never in his wildest dreams, if that’s what you could call them and Dib well, he had dreamt about it back in his teen years where everything had seemed like too much and most of his time was dedicated to thinking but, never considered it a real possibility.Strength in General Fiction More Like This
But, now he was 23 and the alien was giving up. Not that he wanted to or even admitted to it outright, still shielding himself behind empty plans. But, there was something in his eyes. Those maroon orbs usually so violently flickering back and forth, narrowing with greed were dull.
So, Dib knew. And he watched the Irken, his greatest enemy and possibly his only friend walk away down their neighborhood, head bent to the sidewalk. The setting sun painted his green skin a light orange. He knew what Zim was walking away from, what the irken was denying. The same he’d always denied. The fear, the fault, the responsibilities, the truth. Poor little alien so far from home, so b

All I Want For X-Mas
CHAPTER 1 Part 1
It was the night before Christmas and all through the Membrane household not a creature was stirring well unless you count a skinny, pale, large headed boy at about the age of 8 as a creature.
Dib's glasses, which were much too large for his face began slipping down as the boy peered around the corner and into the living room where their scrawny tree stood, with its bare branches. Well, bare except for a few tiny bulbs in the shapes of various mythical creatures; bigfoot, moth men, werewolves, monsters of the unusual sorts and of course UFOs.
Dib loved UFOs. Well, he loved the paranormal in general. But, to be as specific as possible, Dib loved Aliens. He adored what they stood for. Life outside of this tiny, crude planet. How they had so many possibilities. So much amazing technology. And of course those funny limbs and eyes.
The little(well not so little anymore) boy skidded out from behind his cover, now that he was satisfied

"Are you finished being a moron?" Out of the corner of his eye, there was a flash of green and black. "Too complicated for you? Or can we get this over with?"
"Oh shut it, Zim. Give the man some respect " The much too young looking boy grumbled. "If you're even capable."
"Zim is SO capable of respecting the bald guy!" A finger was thrown his direction, nearly taking out his left eye. "I'll show yo"
"That's really not nessacary." The Minister proclaimed. "But, um are you absolutely certain that this ." Two brown eyes flew to the lines in the book which had been scribbled on, words rewritten all over the page, and then he looked back at the couple. "w
The Union: Chapter 2They had come for Zim, just as the boy said they would. But then again, he had no reason to disbelieve what the human had told him. For now, anyway. The Union: Chapter 2 in Romance More Like This
Unfortunately, they came prepared for the ordeal; armed and protected. Zim was outnumbered, and he knew that if he were to try now to escape, they’d have him pegged in no time. No, brute force was not an option in this case. He’d have to find another means of escape.
For now, he would show the humans what a good little Irken looked like, and he rolled up his sleeve for them. The strangely hued blood flowed easily into their canister and they left almost as quickly as they had come, content for the moment.
A few more hours passed until Membrane came in with his son, who had his backpack thrown over his shoulder. He’d brought his homework with him. There had been two choices; either go home right after skool or come with Dad. His answer had been instant. Dib normally worked as his father’s assistant during the weekend

Did he walk past the house? Or go across the street to avoid the temptation to rush up to the front door and bang on the metal surface in order to piss off his enemy? Oh the image was so clear in his head, so easy to imagine that he was already three steps closer.
Dib woke up early the next morning; earlier than was deemed acceptable by most people in society. The sun wasn't yet up when he had dressed in all black, his back pack full of provisions for the long day he had ahead of him, and was out the door. Little puffs of carbon dioxide sprung from his lips into the brisk morning air. It woke him right up.
The detective was heading towards the older side of town where he'd gotten many reports of some suspicious activity; something about ectoplasm, lots of hideous screeching and floating rubber duckies. It sounded promising. And he did feel a tiny tingle of excitement for the new opportunity. For something to solve.
But, it was nothing in comparison to

The young paranormal investigator slid off his make shift table, his good hand holding his numb arm and shuffled across the room. He looked down at her and felt rage. She had hurt him and had planned to hurt Zim. He looked down at her and felt pity. She was on the edge of sanity, holding on by her broken nails. But, mostly Dib looked down on her and felt...guilt.
Gir didn't know what the hell he was doing. Not that he ever knew what the hell he was doing only now he didn't know what the hell he was doing whilst flying a rather sizable irken ship. Manic giggles escaped from his metal mouth, effectively drowning out any sound of the ship hitting buildings and people and on one occasion a low flying bird.
All he really understood was that 1. Master had called him. And 2. Everything was so bright and happy and omg was that a taco shaped umbrella! Woo! Everything is wonderrrrful!

He felt like a child, hands pressed against the glass. Face almost doing the same as he stared with morbid curiosity as his father and several other scientists talked around a body. It was cut open, blood dripping into a contained container around the table. A clean white sheet, all but soaked. One of the scientists said something behind his mask and they all laughed. Dib couldn’t remove his eyes from the glistening organs, the limp limbs that poked from the sheet.
That had haunted him in his dreams ever since and today was the same. Except for the fact that Dib was 19 now and the subject wasn’t under a sheet with scientists laughing around his dead body. Yet. Instead it was locked in a giant clear cube. It had a bed and a toilet but little else.
And the subject wasn’t human. That was clear right away. Dib felt his eyes widen and his curiosity pique immediately. He was following his father who was talking to another fellow scientist. He

"Why had that happened? Why now--here, of all places?" His tone was dripping with frustration as he asked the empty room. "For Irk's sake .Dib shouldn't know about my PAK; he could use it against me!" Although he was already aware of all the other ways Dib had some control over him. He ran a hand over his neck, surprised to find a smudge of violet on his hand as he looked it over. "DAMN IT!" He shouted in surprise. "He did it to me again!" He growled.
"I can't believe I gave into him " He scolded himself. He was an invader! What was he thinking letting Dib have so much control of him? Dib should be under ZIM, not the other way around!
He huffed as he tried to take his mind off it. Instead he focused on his PAK, trying to decide how to lie to Dib about it. As far as Dib knew, this could've been normal for the Irken. How much did the human know about his PAK, anyway? Zim began to

Dib was almost content sitting in the heated afternoon or at least that what he resolutely told himself. With his girl friend leaning on his chest, hands around her waist and sipping on poop cola, he was feeling almost complete. Almost like he could lose himself in the normalcy of it all and forget for a little bit that his life was all but falling apart at the seams now.
Key word; almost. Because even as Gretchen blabbered about something meaningless and normal, he felt it. The shivery sensation of being watched. Of big, false eyes that probed the edges of this monotone dream that was too good to be true.
They were following his every move, silently moc

Suppressed memories come flooding back again. Hot tears bubble to the surface and stream down my ivory cheeks. I turn away as I slam the screen down, not wanting to look at it again for a long time. "His name. It was his name."
I hear a voice come from behind, one of a lost love. "Dib-love, why must you abuse my equipment?" My tear burning eyes widen as much as possible. Quickly, I spin my chair around, only to be met with the fusch

Starring cautiously, Zim continued to poke at the hideous food on his tray, for it had looked like it was about ready to eat his face and crawl off his tray if he wasn't careful...
While in the same moment a certain human Dib, sitting across the cafeteria was watching the irken closely, keeping a glassy stare on him. Rolling his eyes he looks down at his own tray, filled withed mashed baloney, he begins to question it himself. "Ya know Zim, I don't blame you... I really don't..."
Quickly that same irken flips his tray and begins to storm out of the room. "Zim will no longer partake in these, lunch foods, any longer!" He screamed, making his towards the exit, doors slamming open through his rampage.
Hearing the tray crash to the floor, he glances up from his spot in the room. "Zim...?" Curios as to the sudden outburst, Dib then followed Zim to the exit. Though when glancing up and down the hall Zim did not notice the other following him

Get Well Soon, Dib-StinkWhen Dib woke up this morning, he knew the rest of his day was going to bring nothing else but one misfortune after the other. And he could say that his assumption was quite accurate. The first thing that told him his day was going to be a miserable one (even more so than usual) for him, was that he woke up feeling terrible.Get Well Soon, Dib-Stink in Humor More Like This
His body ached from head to foot with unbearable pain, making it incredibly difficult to sit up, much less get out of bed. He knew he wouldn't be in the best of health after the extremely violent fight he'd had with his arch-nemesis Zim the day before, but he didn't think he'd be feeling THIS horrible.
Almost as if trying to prove to him how much he had taken his health for granted, his lungs attacked him an onslaught of coughs and hacks while trying to get off the bed. Making his way down the stairs after getting ready for school didn't prove to be any easier of a task. Dib found himself quite frequently having to pause to either hack or try not to pass out.

This should have been a nice moment of quiet for Dib, it really should've been. Normally it was. After all, he was in a library so it was only natural that he expected some quiet. That's how they were supposed to be. That was why he had come here to this library, to study up on his homework in relaxation.
Apparently his study partner didn't understand that libraries were supposed to be quiet. Which was only natural seeing as his study partner was an evil alien from space. That's right, THAT evil alien. Otherwise known as Zim, the thing that wouldn't shut up.
The young paranormal investigator was used to Zim's ramblings, he expected them even. But Dib at least thought the invader would have the common sense to know that studying required some quiet. Or that they could get kicked out of the library if they made too much noise.
