So I called Lenovo, the maker of my ThinkStation, and told them what had happened. They asked for my serial number to the computer and then proceeded to ask for a few more details and then immediately told me that they had a new motherboard on it's way to one of their IBM dispatchers in the area and that they would have them replace it and get my computer working by the next day. So as of Noon today my lightning zapped computer is back up and running like new. I am elated!
