Of the thousand and one things I needed to get done tonight...this seemed to be the most important.
I know you get a hundred score messages of appreciation and love every day, Ms. Faust. But today, on your birthday, I have to tell you once again how much your work- as an artist and as a woman- means to me. You have inspired me, you have given shape to my own hopes and dreams. And, in specific, this pastel-colored world of ponies has opened up a direct link to the joy and wonder of being a child all over again.
I don't have the words to properly, completely, and definitively express everything I want to say, Ms. Faust. So I will simply say-
Thank you. And I wish you the very happiest of birthdays!
Hey! I made a thing for the Brony Bazaar this weekend! That's one project down!
If you're in New York and you like Ponies and and and other stuff that's amazingly awesome, you should totally go- [link]
Me, I have a Zombie 5K and Mr. Kitties birthday on Saturday, Doctor Who series six premier, and a ton of pony stuff to finish, including something that is an increasingly late project for (I'm so sorry ego! I'm working on it!)
Also, a poster, some tee shirts, making buttons, and silently weeping into my wacom tablet.
(Also, Manehatten is canonically spelled weird! It's not my fault!)
Perhaps only indirectly sports related, but Lyra sitting on her bum as she usually do in front of the telly, watching other ponies do that sweaty sports thing. In celebration to everyone to lazy to do sporty things during the olympics OH and as always I forget to mention BonBon standing next to Lyra all decked out in training gear and ready to be all, "lets go for a run!" and "come on one more pushup!"
Made this really awesome comic! which was inspired by my Squeezin' It series. I commented that I was a little sad I didn't have this idea myself first, but she was really nice and said I was allowed to draw it in my own style! What a cool gal!
