Hipshot!Hey there, sparrows! ♥
Long time no see! Okay, okay, not terribly long. :> We're well into Julyhow is everyone's summer coming along? What sort of things have you been up to so far? I hope you're all having a great time and enjoying the sun. Thus far, my summer has been fantasticlots of swimming, fishing, hiking, motorcycle riding, starry nights and watermelon, haha.
I'm making this journal for those of you who have followed my horror story 'Hipshot' (and anyone who'd like to start following it). After putting the project on hold for several months, I have revised the first four parts (and oh man, what an improvement, seriously), and updated them today, in preparation for the release of the fourth part of the story tomorrow evening. If you've read Hipshot before and plan on reading the 4th section, I think you'll enjoy it much better if you re-read the story beforehand, now that it's been revised, and refresh it in your memory. Check back tomorrow
Hypothetical - chapter 1A/N: This takes place after another story of mine called Experimental. If you haven't already clicked the back button, you might be okay to stick around if you haven't read it, I think the characters basically recap everything from that story you need to know to understand this one. Basically Zim did stupid things and ran into some scary people who tried to kill him but couldn't quite manage it and there was a bit of a kerfuffle.Hypothetical - chapter 1 in Sci-Fi More Like This
The chupacabra was seven feet tall and dripping mucus. It took a step closer to Dib, snorting a gobbet of snot at him.
Dib backed up. His heart was pounding in his chest.
"I have found you," the chupacabra growled, in a voice like grinding steel. "You have exploited my children and taken my food, and I will suck the brains from your head and tear your carcass to the four winds."
"No, you won't!" Dib said, flinging one arm in a dramatic skyward point. He was sweating a bit, though. He knew his 'secret weapon' wasn't exactly reliable... or good.

TWILIGHT MST ch. 1agentmothman: Hello, I'm Dib and I'm here on MSN with my horrible study partner, Zim, and we're going through a skool assignment to collaboratively critique a work of literature. We're doing this on MSN because Zim is an evil alien and wouldn't let me in his house. Since he's an evil alien, I didn't want him in my house either. Let the record show that Zim is an evil alien.TWILIGHT MST ch. 1 in Fan Fiction More Like This
OUR_NAME_IS_LEGION: Dib! Zim! Stop being annoying or both of you will get Fs.
agentmothman: And our teacher, Miss Bitters, is supervising us. Anyway, for our assignment, we picked Twilight. BECAUSE ZIM LOVES TWILIGHT.
IMZM: Yep, yep, I'm a normal human who looooves disgusting romantic bloodsuckers.
agentmothman: Is Twilight even literature?
IMZM: SHUT YOUR FILTHY MOUTH!
agentmothman: *sighs* All right, let's just get this over with.

Experimental ch7A/N: So this chapter took a while yes... but that is because it is freaking huge. Maybe I should make more of an attempt to make my chapters mostly the same length so I can update more regularly. Or maybe I won't bother.Experimental ch7 in Fan Fiction More Like This
Incidentally, this fan fiction has been officially approved by Operation Head Pigeons on Facebook! How cool is that? Hearty thanks are given to OHP and to the reviewer who alerted me to this charming occurrence!
Zim woke up breathing hard, in a cold sweat, with his claws detracted and dug into the sheets- they'd gone all the way through his gloves. He felt like something very bad had just happened, but he didn't know what it could possibly have been. A quick sweep of the room revealed nothing untoward, besides Dib, but Dib was clearly sleeping and not dangerous.
It must have just been... one of those things, a dream. Bah. He fell back onto the sheets. They were soaked with sweat and tangled around his body in a way that made him feel like he was tied up. The first orde
Experimental ch4A/N: All right, forget updating this on a schedule. If you want to know when it updates put it on Story Alert. I've officially failed.Experimental ch4 in Fan Fiction More Like This
Also. Dear fffnet: Screw you. Screw you for deciding to do whatever you want with my formatting. Screw you for mandating thatTHERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO MAKE A PAGE BREAK. Screw you for deciding the last few paragraphs of every freaking document I post to you looks better in italics. Sincerely, I hope you choke on your own vomit and die.
Zim was called back to reality by a clattering noise from the next room.
He hadn't been asleep but he hadn't been exactly awake, either- some mindless state in between. He sat up, rubbing his eyes. He was not sure for the first few moments exactly where he was. When he remembered, he huffed and shook his head. Filthy Dib. Filthy Dib's house.
And that clattering noise was probably filthy Dib up to no good. Better check it out.
He stood up, straightened up his uniform, and marched into the kitchen.
The noise wasn't Dib, it w
The Rarest Lapis Lazuli- Ch. 1Maximillion J. Pegasus was a man known eminently for his incredible confidence and energy. Friends would say that he was unstoppably sanguine; that his attitude always pushed him forward in his endeavors. Be it researching the most microscopic atomic particles to drawing the cuddliest of Duel Monsters for his new sets of cards, Pegasus put his heart into what he loved and stopped at nothing- nothing- until he had satisfied his goals. The Rarest Lapis Lazuli- Ch. 1 in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
It was unlike Pegasus to leave anything untied or unfinished; and, one of his lifelong goals had not been realized. He had been married young; married to a woman his age, married to the woman of his dreams. He'd had everything planned: to become a famous painter, to become a parent with his wife, to live comfortably in the countryside.
However, this was not to be: disease had gripped Cecelia Pegasus and quickly had taken her life. Pegasus had had his dreams violently ripped out of his clutches, just as everything had been going so right. Desperate,
