This was a rather successful experiment of several new techniques for me.

Rancor (noun)
The deepest malignity or spite; deep-seated enmity or malice; inveterate hatred.

The Rancor Jackhammer was nearly lost in the records of the early Colonial Era as a little known weapon with few examples remaining. The system was looked at again in 523, modernized slightly, rechambered in 20mm MVGP and submitted for the Smooth Bore Assault Weapon field competition. Due to its chambering and various ammo loads it doesn't really fit any standard category as it can be a shotgun, grenade launcher, and to some degree, an assault rifle.

Having ancient roots in combat shotgun history the Rancor maintains the "whatever fits" utility of older weapons, including the ability to accept MetalStorm cartridges instead of its standard shells. This ability allows the operator to fire up to one hundred sabots, thirty low velocity grenades, or ten standard medium velocity rounds from the same size cassette.

By tuning the system the operator can adjust the rate of fire depending on the rounds being fired, some weapons have even been fitted with and automatic system to identify the rounds in chamber and adjust the RPM accordingly. The Mk-3 is capable of firing up to five hundred rounds per minute, however that is with sabot rounds and if one were to fire that fast with standard rounds the operator's shoulder/collarbone could literally be broken.

To reduce felt recoil the entire mechanism moves several inches to the rear with each full power shot. This slows down operation but injuries to the user are a greater impediment than fewer rounds down range.

Unfortunately the weapon is terribly complex, prone to jamming, and rare enough to make replacement part acquisition very difficult. The extremely hard charging handle pull doesn't help is earn many fans either.

Developed by Greyson Arms to fill a standing requirement by the United States Marines Joint Munitions and Lethality Contracting Center for a high accuracy, low recoil battle rifle. For years the Marine Corps had been experimenting with a vast number of assault rifles and battle rifles, leading to a logistical nightmare with a massive range of weapons and cartridges being used throughout the Corps. The M12 ICR filled the need for a powerful, well rounded interim weapon and was adopted the first fiscal quarter 500. In 523 the -A1 series fixed several minor design flaws, improved ergonomics, slightly reduced production costs, added chrome to several components in the mechanism, and a stellite coating to the barrel. No requirements have been posted for replacement as of the last fiscal quarter 559. The manufacturer states the weapon is designed to be comfortable for both human and nakanii shooters, however this claim is disputed by both.

The ICR ushered in a revival of old-school weapon design, featuring all manual workings, RIS systems, and no electronic components, IFF, user recognition, or inhibitors. The rugged utilitarian design, high accuracy, and stopping power has made it a favorite with Marines as a standard issue weapon and with every other branch and several police agencies as a marksman rifle. It's unique firing system has also been used as the base for several other weapons and has proven difficult for other companies to reproduce without directly copying it.

The 7.5x50-US HV (or +P+ overpressure) is an advanced derivative of the 7.62 NATO utilizing a high pressure gas propellant generating much higher expansion pressure. Standard weapons designed to fire the 7.5mm/.306 WAC can be damaged or destroyed by the extreme pressure generated by mil-spec 7.5USHV.

Another variant of Grayson Arms' ICR platform the M83 is a scaled up version of the the M12. The United States Marines Joint Munitions and Lethality Contracting Center put up a requirement 506 after an error showed showed an extra ten thousand MK-33 rifles that were not there. Adopted after less than a year of development and testing spring 507 it still serves as the primary medium range marksman rifle of the United States Marines. It is the first combat rifle chambered in the 9.3x70 Lapua or Raufoss Magnum cartridges, made controllable with the ICR's collapsing bolt system.

Contrary to its sniper rifle like appearance it is not a dedicated sniping weapon. One is issued per squad in standard Expedition units and two per squad in SOC units. It gained strong popularity amongst Juno's segregated Pathfinders and became emblematic of the 3rd Pathfinders half-female recon detachment.

This is a gatling type plasma weapon, it's highly inspired from UT99's Pulse gun, and it's supposed to work in a similar way. Fast repeating plasma balls and a central constant spiral beam.

This is a modification of my old MGL [link] with reciprocating saw, I wasn't very satisfied with the old design due to a certain lack of personality so I decided to modify it and try to make it look aggressive and brutal.

This model has been rendered with normal settings, some smoothing and gun painted with material colors, so there is no textures and the paint is just here to avoid having it being monochrome.

Well, as I already had drawn the assault rifle and carbine, it was time to give the SMG its 15 minutes of fame.

Now let's get things straight first off, the design is from :iconigorkutuzov: and you can see it here [link] . I merely re-drew it in gunbucket's scale and added a few bits and pieces, mainly the EKP-1S-03 red dot right and eliminated the accessory rails from the weapon. I just thought that it would be pretty fitting for the Birkanian Armed Force (more specifically AFV crews and special operatives) to use that weapon, at least in limited numbers.

Anyone remembers this? [link] Well, I decided to draw some more of the plastic-heavy Birkanian small arms, this time the 9x39mm compact assault rifle KS12 which replaced the AKS-74U in the ranks of the Birkanian Army.

It lacks the capacity and firepower of its bigger cousin but it makes up for it by using heavy, silent subsonic ammunition capable of delivering quite a punch while keeping noise levels low when the gun is equipped with a silencer. Its smaller size makes it a weapon of preference when it comes to arming the crews of tanks, helicopters and rear-guard units with a weapon that isn't too cumbersome yet allows them to protect themselves in case they have to fight the enemy directly. Another use for it is for special forces during close quarters combat, since its small size and low weight grant it good mobility. For the latter purpose it can be equipped with a GP95 underbarrel grenade launcher.

I built Clu's light cycle on cardstock. The fold lines were covered over with Crayola washable markers which makes an *enormous* difference in the quality of the end result.

This papercraft has the worst instructions ever. If you decide to do this one:
* Don't make this your first one. Start with the recognizer.
* You need a utility knife for the inside cuts. I had success with Elmer's glue, a paper towel, and many toothpicks. I recommend using the toothpicks to spread the glue evenly, and to wipe off places where it spooges. A glue stick will work but they are very large and imprecise.
* Have a gray and a black marker handy. A Sharpie doesn't have the right sheen. Use this to go over the dotted-lines when you are done.
* Keep this final picture handy while building. During assembly the parts are abstract.
* There's lots of parts that just really don't fit. You have to mush and bend them together. This one takes a lot of time. I probably spent 10 hours on it all together, and I had to get my wife's perspective at times to see other ways something might fit.

Changes to the instructions:
* Mark which wheel is front -vs- back and don't forget mix them up.
* If possible, use paper that is black on the back. Or run it through your printer again and print black on the other side. There are places where the white paper shows and this will minimize the amount of marker you need to use to cover it up.
* Build both wheels then glue them to the chassis. I recommend doing this before cutting/folding the other parts. You could even stop at that point if you just like the cycle alone.

Wheels:
* Those thin white lines on the wheels are the slits for the driver's arms and legs that are referenced in step 8. Cut them with a utility knife before gluing anything. It is tough to do later on.
* Don't fold the A-I tabs around the wheels, or if you do, don't fold them in very much. You need them to be rigid so that they push against the other darker colored tabs that you glue them to.
* The designers don't know alphabetical order. *facepalm* Ignore that and just go around the wheel from A to I. This is where I started to lose confidence in this design...
* It is tough to see where exactly to attach the wheels to the chassis and what orientation to use. Line it up before gluing. The light cycle should sit level when the wheels are attached.
- The wheel has 10 sections. I'll call the bottom "section 1" and they count clockwise from there up to section 10.
- Orient them: the bottom of the wheel has a circle on it, made from black and blue stripes.
- Start glugin the the back wheel at section 4.
- For the front wheel, the dots are on section 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. So the bottom has no dot.
- Glue the front wheel at section 8

Undercarriage piece:
* This piece is a very convoluded way to hide the ugliness between the front wheel and the chassis. Unfortunately, it covers lots of nice detail and is really hard to line-up. Maybe a better way is to not put this on at all.
* Line this up so that it covers the dots on the wheels. Get it all lined up before gluing anything.

Clu's back:
* Put the feet into the slits and don't glue anything yet. I glued the center "B" tab only, and I did it as the very very last thing once everything else was together. Otherwise this piece just keeps getting in the way, especially when gluing the helmet.
* Clu really doesn't have much of a neck...

Arms:
* First, fold these in half and glue them together.
* Next, insert the gray handles into the slits in the wheels. Shove them most of the way in.
* Then glue them onto the cycle, near what I call the front windshield. The instructions call this Clu's shoulder, but you are really gluing it to the chassis not the driver. You can fold the tab to glue it onto the front, or the side. I recommend the side so that it does not interfere with the helmet. Maybe a better way would be to cut a slit and put it into there so it doesn't cover the detail on the side.

Fin:
* The fin probably isn't worth doing.
* Cut out the white area with a utility knife.
* The order of instructions on step 11 is wrong. First fold over the dotted line to make the two "wings" THEN fold over the yellow line. Don't glue it yet. Done properly, it will look like airplane wings with a bottom piece. Make sure you fold the tabs out before you glue it together.
* I cut-off the lighter colored tabs because they didn't line-up with Clu's back. Just glue the bottom part to the wheel.

Weapon specifications (Obviously fictional.)

Maximum projectile muzzle velocity:

Maximum projectile temperature:

Weapon recoil at maximum design limits:
Dangerous to human hand and arm bones.

Weapon operating principals:
The idea behind the Predator weapon is that of a gravity well projectile accelerator.
In theory inside the barrel of the weapon some form of matter capable of manipulating gravity would be used to produce a gravity well along the inside of the barrel, this effect being used to accelerate projectiles to extreme speeds.
Also inside the barrel are four spiraling metal rails; these rails serve to apply spin to the projectile for gyroscopic stability, as well as being used to apply a large amount of electrical current to the projectile as it travels down the barrel. This charge can heat the projectile to a nearly molten state, depending on the metal being fired and the charge rate of the rails.
The weapon's magazine is designed around a compact mass transfer device, capable of feeding ammunition into the weapon from a remote storage location through an interdimensional.
Finally, on the outside of the weapon are several vent ports. These are used to vent liquid nitrogen around components of the weapon that become hot during operation; such as the barrel, power supply unit and mass transfer system.

Yes, I know that with these specifications this weapon is completely impractical, would likely break the arm of anyone firing it, and could very well be in defiance of multiple laws of physics.
And that's why I love it so much.

Looking back at my old HVATR > Seems kinda meh > UPGRADE TIME!!

After reading all those discovered flaws, I'm itching to re-do the whole concept, but considering that it will take a lot of time against my procrastination (oh, and college too...), seems that a few facelift is okay enough...

In short: modular, modular, modular. Although the modular concept itself was barely hitting my brain after all those research... Blame my lazy ass.

OK and this is my left over equipment for my Gundam Alexia.
For my friend suggested to me that he looks too lean and I made this!... He became bigger than ever! :jedi::jedi::jedi:

I think this equipment was used in offending earth federation's fortress and inburst the atmosphere....:D

And if you noticed, X12 has triggers rotated inside the gun body, also X11 could be drawn beside his arms... and about "apara hana", maybe this name means flower in the mortal world, which 3 thrusters at its bottom seemed not cleary shown in the rendering. Also it's extremely long, also not distinct in the viewpoints. :D

The final version of my re-imagining of the Light Rifle from Halo 4.

I'm not a huge fan of how the forerunner weapons look in Halo 4, I don't think they quite match with the other forerunner stuff in the game.

But the real reason for doing this is that I think the Light Rifle and the Binary Rifle look way too similar (especially first person)... and I noticed during the Binary Rifle reload animation, there's some cool stuff (like the floating cylinder) that would have been cooler to have visible.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think!
